Not a chance in hell I’m putting 200K into an inflatable.
I would don’t u wanna feel like a navy seal?
A great boat for a fun day out, looks really nice. I would have a grill next to the sink then you have everything. Nice tour as always Nick thank you.
Right: GRILL. But that seat would need to be changed out to provide access.
The fact that this boat is 200k is insane.
Wasn't expecting that cabin. Awesome
Wow, it actually has a cabin. That was surprising.
Thanks for the tour!
Thanks for watching!
Great video as usual Nick but I would never pay 200k for that, that said I would hire it for a day or 2
200k for this is insane!
Nice tour, thanks! And the cabin was a surprise. Prob worth £200k if it includes everything in the vid, but I'd spend my £200k on a different, more practical boat, given my usual pace of 10 knots...😁
@P J I wish! (edited!)
Short but sweet. Looks like she’d be a fun one out on the water, and the cabin makes her quite serviceable. 👍👍
Great for a day trip. It would be a lot of fun. Thank you Nick
cool little RIB, love the cabin, that was unexpected. thanks for sharing this with us nick, cheers!
My pleasure!!
Great review as always. I do think with some of these boats you overlook a potential market when explaining the cabin. You say the occasional overnight but I would love a small boat like this with a toilet/small cabin for 2 that would be great for getting in and out of small areas to go “camping” with for a week or 2 without the need to bring/set up a tent at a different locations.
no matter the size, Nick is always there with all the knowledge in the world to make it interesting!
Great Boat! Great Video!
This is absolutely what you would need if you were going from port to port in the South of France and The Mediterranean Sea. It's fast enough. And it's comfortable enough for a nice little tender or dingy.
The shape, colour and performance of it all really just screams "military" to me. But, what a beast this is! 😍 This should make for an excellent tender to a large-ish explorer yacht, I'm sure.
the most amazing Boat that you have ever had on aquaholics. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE T
Impressive craft and , I imagine, loads of fun.
The cabin makes it a more practical proposition but I have to agree (with the many comments made) it makes no sense at £200k. Some specialist uses apart, once ribs go above 25ft or so the looks, cost and practicality all begin to unravel
Fantastic little yacht
Wow! £200K for a day boat albeit a flying machine, but with an occasional cabin and toilet not a bad tender though nick for someone's superyacht if it appeals to them. Another very informative tour nick very enjoyable 😉 😀
Serious piece of kit would love one of these monsters.
Cheers Nick.
Great video Nick.
That’s a fast boat.
The size and speed must also be able to be used as a lifeboat.
Awesome!.....have a matt black Rib in the Med in summer!!
Nice runabout! thanks for sharing!
Great fun on a rib. Had a little 4m Humber up until May last year for pottering round the docks. Kinda regretting getting rid of it now. Frantically getting brownie points in with she who must be obeyed in case something comes up that's too good not to look at :) Never know your luck.
Needs a grill, but otherwise, great boat for a really fun day on the water. Great job as always, Nick!!
That little cabin area was a nice surprise
Great boats, like to see a few more boats like that on the channel 👍🏻
👏👏maravilloso Nick ese bote es pequeño pero muy grande. bendiciones hermano 👍🇨🇴
I had to check teh date - it's not 1st April!
Nice rib but for 200k I'd be wanting a bit more
Basically, it has size and speed. Period.
@@jamesellsworth9673 my boat has that too.. for much much less.
@@jamesellsworth9673 oh right so if it costs £1,000,000 but it has size and speed that's fine? What a ridiculous sentiment. Its a glorified dingy and 200,000 is ridiculous.
It's a Rib.
a RIB ! !
What a boat !!! WOW - a Rib...
Very nice BRIG and thanks Nick for thinking of "us".
You're very welcome! 😃
In this case one doesn't get much for his/her 200k
You could get a used 5 year old 40ft yacht with this money.
@@taunokekkonen5733 and the rest
@@taunokekkonen5733 wouldn't do 55 knots though.
@@Lon1001 but wouldn't sink when hitting a jellyfish.
Very nice fun-boat! Especially sporting an Omega Seamaster, or so it seemed :D
Rico from NautiStyles is a dealer for Brig. They make some nice boats.
Sitting at the helm is a nice signature ending… but not restrictive in anyway great Aquaholics
Something different! Thanks Nick!
Glad you liked it!
Skipper who puts too much speed on those throttles will find me asleep in that cabin! 😆
That’s a beautifully made fun boat. Nice to have a loo.
50knots is shifting! Bet that’s fun
Neat boat tour!
Can you also do the Brig Navigator Series Nick? They make for a very interesting tender for trawler style yachts
Brilliant boat for the short distance between France and the UK.
I've wanted to see some of these, my family's tender is a brig, but I haven't been on the yacht yet. Dad was telling me the dealer preferred these to a Williams.
Mind you, I'll bet that colour is uncomfortable on a sunny day down in the Med. But it's also nice to see Ukrainian companies able to continue their business!
Small grill and I would happily spend a weekend aboard.
Very interesting. Thanks for featuring. This is a very special boat on steroids and I think you have to have a very good reason to pay the price, like owning an expedition business or something like that. Otherwise, it's quite an overkill just for leisurely activities, well for ordinary mortals in my opinion.
Love love
Nice one NB
Missing a Grill / BBQ but i am sure they be able to add one, what great toy for the Med.
On a rib? Umm yeah good luck with that
Great video as usual, but being a simple soul I think I would look to buy a used boat with accommodation for the same price. However, I appreciate there is a market for such toys so each to their own ( the trailer and outboards look pretty cool though). All the best now.
Serious bit of kit
What a lovely boat idea and perfect execution! Excellent video as always, Nick!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I hope you do vid about many small boat like this 🙏✌🏻🇩🇿
What a great machine.
I mean its a high perfomance boat i get that, but around 80 of those 200k are the motors alone and the rest for 120k also does not really speak to me. Id rather get a smaller one without cabine and wetbar and just a sigle engine and invest the 100k in something else.
Excellent boat 👍👍👍 thank you Nick
My pleasure!
very cool rib Nick :)
Very nice thank you
You'd only spend 200k on this if you have a super yacht and you're looking for a fun tender. Thats is it.
Nice looking boat! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
That's not a yacht, that's a boat.
I mean it has a cabin
I was interested in this for a project I am thinking about and immediately went to their website. None of their examples on any models had a hard top like this one. Is that an extra or have they just not updated their website ?
These boats are quite common in the States, and I see them with as many as 6 engines off the back. Having 4 450hp R Yamaha's I get, but does adding another one, or two engines actually improve the performance or is this like wearing jewelry, look at me, I have money to burn? 😁👍✌
More outboards will usually accelerate faster but have a lower top speed because of the extra drag of more prop drives in the water.
I think 2 is the sweet spot, if you need more than 2 400+ outboards the boat is big enough and will be better off with inboards.
Would like to see another RIB reviewed between £20-40k range
Insane price for a boat that can get a puncture and is not RNLI
Nick, Nick, Nick, Nick, that aft mast had a towing eye, probably one of the biggest uses of this kind of leisure boat. However I forgive you because generally you are awesome.
You're very kind (and I'm clearly very blind!) 😄
Not worth 200k
And those engines are easily half of the price. Not a compelling proposition.
I agree. You could buy a used Lamborghini Aventador for that money, or even a knee Tesla.
If you want a used Lamborghini or a knee Tesla, you should definitely buy the car. These are generally bought by people who want a boat though. 🙂
@@breakthesteak7357 not sure you can water ski off the back of a Lamborghini 🤔
A great looking RHIB but 200K!!
Is dimensions a dozen in Australia next time 🤔bye m
I feel deprived, no mirror to wave into. 😄
How is the delivery situation going forward. This are produced in the Ukrainian.
Staggered by the price. Is there that big a market?
Nice plaything. If that was in Miami it would have 5 x Verado's on the back.
👍
when update on the sunseeker project? ;DD
Been a fan for a long time. Just wondered if you ever went to see a boat and it ended on the cutting room floor as it was so bad... just wondering.
Not yet! 😄
just spent a week in Dawlish and visited Torquay again. lovely harbour to be fair. Are you still moored in there?
No, River Dart now. 🙂
Some might say quite a Brig range
Where is the crew cabin?
I notice a bunch of handles on the sides all down it
This will be ideal to bring them in from France, fast turn around, cut prices and bring more in, wet bar so time for at least 2 dry Martini's at 30 quid a piece.
what's with the black ? I'd think it would absorb the heat on a summer day.
It’s called style….
Decades ago they were all orange as the main market was marine rescue. Then they went to all colours (because they could). Then they seemed to settle on grey as an effective design statement and good UV stabilisation.
More recently, as you have observed, it’s now militaristic black. Not many families have a need to undertake night littoral raiding parties, unless you count returning from the last day of Cowes Week Fireworks Night! It’s a trend…. Started by Audi with their atrocious “Black Editions” where the vehicle is devoid of any chrome or highlighting trim. Thus ensuring it looks like an expensive hunk of nothing with no “pop” as you look at them.
Returning to the choice of black for a rib, it does look stylish and yes gives a “rufty tufty” edge to “Dad’s” boat (Dad likes that look - it’s a generic Dad thing). But yes you’re right it does burn one’s bum on a English hot summers day. Obviously not a problem in Scotland, but positively dangerous in Florida.
Good insight at the helm... If you let your wife or girlfriend steer
than surely you must control those Suzuki 350 bad boys!
200k for a dingy 😂
Idea tender for a super yacht.
I love rhib s please make more videos on inflatables
won't that chain locker get filled with water? or am i missing something?
You're missing the drains - any water that does get in there simply drains out of the bottom. All chain lockers are the same, otherwise the water from the chain being winched in would have nowhere to go.
Very nice but IMHO overpriced for what is an inflatable.. would rather buy and older fairline targa, similar size but more boat
Nice 👍
Not a bad boat there
Would that anchor button placement not be bad if someone sit on the buttons and the anchor started going out wile the boat was moving? 🤔
They normally have flip-up covers that needs to be lifted to reach the buttons. A bit hard to see here, but it looks like hinges in the front.
The antenna console is badly positioned too. Why is that not on top of the main console? Makes no sense.
Quite the yacht...
Did i miss the wave?
Not sure 'yacht' is the right word here LOL
Nick I have two question for you, 1. how does a boat like this handle in rough seas and 2. what happens if the is a puncture whilst at sea, would this still float???
You mean from Calais to Dover?
It will handle rough seas extremely well and all the ribs that I’m aware of will float if the tubes are deflated.
A recognised method of recovering a Man Overboard, in certain circumstances, would be to deflate one side of the tubes and roll the person onboard. I’ve done it on a smaller rib several years ago. You lose the ability to plane back to a safe haven, but if you have a heavy unfit individual that you cannot pull out of the water it is the best option.
I’ve seen this rib at Southampton and at the Birmingham shows it’s a well thought out vessel and will give you speed and distance capability in all weathers.
The outer tube consists of multiple chambers, so one puncture won’t deflate the whole thing. The tubes sit above the water line so the hull will still float.
@@fontybits Holland to mersea island!
@@PhilbyFavourites invaluable lesson, thanks mate… to be honest,,, I may have thought support with life vest and tow … what ever saves the day 🕺🏼
I think there's been a typo, says £200k ??
Danke für das Video. Schönes Boot, aber 235.000 Euro?
Be nice pootling around the Greek Islands on that
Nice, but £200k?!!.....Jeez! Rather have the Cigarette 38' Top Gun that you reviewed Nick, for a quarter of the price!
I guess this is aimed at the Superyacht 'chase boat' market, rather than a fun runabout.
It’s a Formula 41 and it’s in a different league. But remember the Brig is new and the Formula is 30 years old.
Both are hugely capable and both are at the top of their price brackets, justifiably so. But remember they each offer a totally different “boating experience”. For me Top Gun is a stunner, but I wouldn’t turn my nose up at the Brig.
£200k! Nearly fell off my perch.
Rico from nautistyles is a BRIG dealer in LA i think
How much
