Update6 months and I'm still loving this bench. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxo_64lVTGMk7y4aXTPxPOcQ3YTLyQ6kYV I use it almost daily. I've gotten used to the small wobble and it's no problem at all. Love the storage, it folds right next to my weight set in the garage and hardly takes any space. I wish the covering material was a little bit tougher. I have a feeling that in a couple years it'll tear, but the bench is very well priced that I would just buy a new one.3 month usage review. Awesome bench for someone looking for compactness and storage. I did have to drill a couple holes to adjust my preferred seating position and leg bar position but that's only due to my personal preference. It's very sturdy for normal workouts, but for anyone going above 100# dumbbell press it wobbles ever so slightly. I would probably go with a fixed bench if that's the case. That being said i can accomplish 99% of my normal gym workout with this setup. Very happy with the purchase.

I took it slow and now I finally am pain free and back up to 3 plates. I know that’s not that much but I’m shooting for 4 plates by next year 🤞.... I’ll let you know how it goes....

Had someone in the gym try correcting my form today, I was going wider like this, exact grip as Brad. And he was telling me if I go that wid I'm gonna tear my pectoral and all this other stuff. I tried it has way which is hands just outside of the smooth part which is basically close grip. Way harder.
My opinion is stick with what works for you, doesn't hurt to try new things, but everyone is different!

I have a question about bench. Once the weight has been pressed fromthe chest to just under the halfway mark to lockout, what are the primary muscles required to complete the press from just before that mid point??
The reason I ask this is because for myself- as well as a lot of other people, this seems to be the primary “sticking” point. I suspect that weak triceps might be the culprit here but wanted to get some input from others.
Btw, I’m 52 years old, body weight of 230 pounds, and can bench 315 for one rep on any day I try and 335 on my “strong” days.

Hopefully men start looking at these tips more, I'm getting so sick of Bouncin Betty's and Half-Reppin Harry's in my gym acting like they have a strong bench when they don't.

I've been making the mistake of as I get heavier bring my hands closer together on bar. After your video I won't make this mistake again. I've been failing a lot.of heavy lifts and this makes sense why. Letting my technique slip with heavier lifts. Thanks a lot for tips looking forward to getting back in there and putting all thus into practise
