  • Program director at WFAA Radio in 1963, Allman witnessed the assassination from the corner of Houston and Elm Streets. He was then one of the first reporters inside the Texas School Book Depository, where he is believed to have encountered Lee Harvey Oswald leaving the building. Allman is interviewed for Danish Television on the 50th anniversary of the assassination, Dealey Plaza, Dallas, Texas.

thought this as well as if he was reading a script here
Ok he was there and I wasn't at 11 years old and living in Chicago, however he seems to remember all of these details even thinking that there could be an assassination attempt? Then the shots ring out and he is very organized on his thoughts. I mean a huge crowd, cops everywhere, people screaming and then the shots. I would be running away this guy seems too cool so I think after many years he's reconstructed all of this in his mind and is very organized. Sorry if I was there at his age back then I would have been scrambled eggs! Thanks for the post though I am not on either side of the fence of this just a student of the subject is all

This interview is very interesting for a number of reasons. This man is obviously repeating the narrative that he was told to sell and defend. It's the weird emphasis he puts on certain official talking points, as well as the many unnecessary details he gives during the interview that make his testimony not credible, since they all happen to match some of the most controversial parts of the Warren report while being irrelevant for his supposed personal eyewitness account.
Some of the things he describes could not even have been seen by him from where he claims to have positioned himself in Dealey Plaza.
The man is obviously under a lot of pressure to act naturally, which is very hard for someone who is not a trained professional actor, and that is clearly visible in this interview.

He explains in detail what happened in the limousine when the shots were being fired, as if the limousine had stopped up right next to him during the whole time when the shooting happened. Not once does he say that he couldn't see what happened. Neither does he say that he did something to protect himself from practically standing in the line of fire. And I wonder, why didn't the TV station WFAA, for which he was a program director, bring a camera to film the motorcade with both President Kennedy and Mrs. Kennedy? WFAA's office building was located only four blocks away from where he was standing, according to himself.

It sounds like this guy pieced together various bits and parts of the official version and then tried to pass it off as his own testimony. All of the desired elements are in his version of events. It doesn't add up though. If he was standing at the corner of Houston & Elm, how could he have possibly heard a secret service man say "go go go", if he was that far away and with all that noise going on? How could he have seen all of it if there were people standing at that corner blocking his view of the car? If he was such a perfect witness, why was he never called before the WC?
I don't believe a word of what this man is saying, he's trying to make his claim to fame.

It seems strange to me that there were no TV cameras on that motorcade route. It was people with their home video cameras. However, AFTER the shooting, they were there in minutes filming people on the ground at the knoll. Some still cameras were confiscated. Film destroyed. I believe Zapruder's original was altered. It was reported. But here is a WFAA guy and it was close to the kill zone. His station didn't think to broadcast the event? Some people said they heard up to five shots. They didn't live long.

A guy identified himself as an Army Intelligence officer inside the Book Depository building. Should have asked what that guy looked like. Fletcher Prouty believed that a photo of the three tramps, being walked by guys in police uniforms in front of the Depository from the rail yard to the police station, shows Ed Lansdale walking in the other direction past the tramps. The "Army Inelligence officer" could have been Lansdale. Prouty showed the tramps photo to a high ranking CIA official in DC who also thought the photo showed Lansdale.

The thing that makes me discredit any theories involving shots being from the side of the motorcade, (e.g. the grassy knoll, county records building) is that Jackie was sitting right next to JFK, and any shots, not from the front or rear, would have hit her too.

I watched a gunshot would pathologist/doctor explan the way the skull fractures depending on where the bullet enters the head. There are radiating fractures that happen consistantly. and In Jfk's case the radiating fractures point to shot from the rear that entered teh back of his head. There is even a bullet wound to the back of his head. That is just one example. Most JFK conspiracy people say they want the Truth but deny anything that burst their theory of multiple shooters shooting from x amount of positions.

@@proudbirther1998 Oswald never fired a shot. Tests proved that. THAT'S the evidence. Doctors said the shot came from the front and hit JFK's temple. That's NOT a conspiracy theory, it's a FACT. Believe whatever you want about "radiating fractures". It's propaganda. Oswald was set up, then executed. Ruby said in one of his final interviews that nobody will know the truth. Do some research on Ruth Paine. LBJ. John Connelly. Look up James Files. Mac Wallace. Clint Murchison. LBJ's mistress. Go down to Dealey Plaza. Drive the motorcade route. Or just believe whatever the Warren Commission Report said. Which was a book of fiction. Read it. The witnesses that were there are not used in the report. So much more. They even have the SBD as a propaganda tool to keep the narrative going that Oswald was the lone nut assassin. He was what he said he was , a PATSY. Then murdered. FACT. No conspiracy theory. Why murder him? Why not just put him on trial? Because the evidence would not convict him. Many eye witnesses were killed , check out Dorothy Kilgallon. A well known journalist that mysteriously died. She had uncovered too much. They got away with it. JFK died and our Country died with him. Do some research on WHY he was eliminated. ☮️
