@atmdusty well they have changed a bit, theres hp packs for boosts, melee is RB hold it you get a take down, theres new things like sprint, jet pack, weapons got redone. tones more, you unlock credits while you play and rank up to buy ingame armor
it is true that they have the exact same ideas as the battlefield bad company and it isnt the usual halo we kno but still looks like alot of fun ill be playin it for sure cuz i played every halo and was never disapointed nice vid
I CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT HALO REACH!!! its going to be soo awesome , ESPECIALLY THE MULTIPLAYER!! im going to be on the couch playing Halo reach 24/7... when it comes out :|
@SharkkrahS Do you remember? Donut liked to pretend he was using a jet pack, so if they do bring them into RVB, there should be a bit to remember how he would pretend, while everyone else actually gets them now that he is dead.
@dylanwelshproduction They aren't classes. You simply select an armor ability and in some gametypes a different weapon comes with the loadout. In basic slayer every loadout has an Assault Rifle and Magnum. This isn't like Call of Duty where you customize your loadout and acquire weapons and perks as you progress. It is just a simple selection mechanic.
This gametype is freaking amazing. I love playing as covenant for once. Dodge-Roll to jump ftw. You get swords in the end, and you know what, that carbine-needler has some quirks over the DMR. Also, I've never lost a game as an Elite :S Shit is SICK. I play with six buddies half-lan half xbox live (in the same room) and it feels like a squad based game >:D
@atmdusty the health system kinda makes it a little more realistic if you get shot in real life you're not gonna heal after staying behind a rock for a couple seconds
I think this bears more of a semblance to TF2 in terms of the capture points and map expansion, but I can definitely see the battlefield part of it as well
@GUNxSPECTRE I only compared Reach to BC2 because you basically did in your post. And I wasn't really comparing both games entirely. Just those two gametypes. And I'm gonna have to agree with ownejj in that spray and pray is for those who don't know how to play. With Halo, it forces you to be accurate because you have to place multiple shots in a short amount of time. Games like MW2 and the like suck because people do spray and pray and can still get a lot of kills.
@carletodago117 Noble team are from the Spartan III(3) with the exception of Jorge who is a Spartan II(2) put into Noble team. Also, Spartan I's(1) never really got given proper spartan armour, and were never as strong as the spartan II's. An example of a Spartan I is Sergeant Johnson
I'm a ps3 owner but iv played the beta and i dont see whats wrong with taking winning aspects from other games into your multi player it just makes it more fun and diverse i hope more games do it in the future then we might actually get a FPS that is as good as COD 4 again.
@Ninjasniper21 They do have slightly more health and stronger shields but they are also much bigger targets, they're like twice the size of the Spartans.
@milontua Still, games like Doom or Quake also did a part. Quake took good idea’s from previous FPSs and honed them to the point of almost perfection for it’s time. Using real 3d models instead of 2d flat plane models gave it a look that made every gamers jaw drop. With amazing enemy characters, great level design, solid multiplayer and a soundtrack made by NIN’s Trent Reznor, you had a game that changed the way people made future games.
@AchievementBunker Lets see, Rooster teeth have been making halo series since the first halo came out, they are sponsored by bungie themselves, they run one of the most widely viewed Achievement guides on the net, and they were able to make Easter Eggs Cameo in halo 3. Oh yeah, its safe to say they know more about Halo then you ever will.
@halomaster167 Actually bungie said you can't pick and choose each part of your loadout. It will be just like the Beta where it all comes in one package. I'm guessing some of the confusion comes from talk about loadouts in custom games. In custom games, you can customize up to five loadouts as choices for the player Besides, custom loadouts in matchmaking would cause balance issues.
@MajorKabong its not like they took it from BC2 because they couldn't design a gametype and make a map for it in the short time that BC2 has been out. This must be something they want to improve hence the reason its in the beta.
@halomaster167 They aren't called "classes". They are loadouts. "Classes" just happens to be the word Infinity Ward uses for it. However, the loadout feature in Halo Reach is nothing like the Call of Duty classes, which is why calling them classes causes confusion.
Invasion is fun until you keep getting spawnkilled
Yup
i have been playing this game all day and i love it and spawning on your buddy is really helpful
MARK NUTT!!!
I am so unbelievably excited for this game.
Played this yesterday. Brillant fusion of Infection and big team.
That's sick! I laughed at the elite in the end, his arms went all glitchy.
i love how the elites arm glitches at the end
YES!! New gametype. thanks i was wondering when this was coming out
This game type is awesome. Playing it right now.
LOL that elite gliched hardcore at the end
Zombie arms in the end! Love you RoosterTeeth!

JACK AND GEOFF ARE BACK
I love betas just cause you get some see some pretty awesome bugs like the arm thing at the end.
@atmdusty well they have changed a bit, theres hp packs for boosts, melee is RB hold it you get a take down, theres new things like sprint, jet pack, weapons got redone. tones more, you unlock credits while you play and rank up to buy ingame armor
LOL "You're available now" "Heey..." Poor Jack xD
this gametype is crazy fun
This reminds me of Burnie's idea he had in the DrunkTank. Good to see it was implemented!
"Battlefield: Bad Combat 2" Jack... i love you, for you are correct in every word in that statement :)
0:24 Battlefield: Bad Combat, that's DEFINITELY and appropriate name for it, way to go Jack lol
Anyone else notice at the very end, the elite who dropped off the core, his arms went all funky, like he was doing a "C" for YMCA?
it is true that they have the exact same ideas as the battlefield bad company and it isnt the usual halo we kno but still looks like alot of fun ill be playin it for sure cuz i played every halo and was never disapointed nice vid
that elite at the end did like a jim carrey move with his arms, totally spasm-tastic xD
'Its available now!'
'Your available now'
'HEY!'
That assasination was awesome. :)
I'm like addicted to watching all your clips :D
Its quite funny because the covenant can drive human vehicles ???
i love playing this, so much fun
Nice throw Geoff!
Lmfao at the elite's arms at the end
Geoff: You're available now
Jack: Hey... *sad face
Really fun gametype. Hope they make a Spartan attacking the Covenant version of invasion in the final version.
I CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT HALO REACH!!! its going to be soo awesome , ESPECIALLY THE MULTIPLAYER!! im going to be on the couch playing Halo reach 24/7... when it comes out :|
LOL elite spazzum at the end.
I LOVE Jack and Jeff! :D
XD at the end when the Elite's hands glitched out XD
Nice. Now I get it how invasion is going to be like.
ah i love the little battlefield feeling
EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH THE VERY LAST FEW SECONDS OF THIS VIDEO.
awesome glitching arms
Jack's available now? Oh baby.
I love this game mode
The scorpion on invasion is nice I had a running riot in the beta
Scorpion's mom gonna be sad. Than the other guy shuts up from guilt trip xD
@SharkkrahS Do you remember? Donut liked to pretend he was using a jet pack, so if they do bring them into RVB, there should be a bit to remember how he would pretend, while everyone else actually gets them now that he is dead.
That elite at the end was doing a wowed dance lol
Lol the guys arms at the end XD
the invasion is my fav. I love reach. I pwn with the jetpack.
Nice glitch at the end :D
I love rush in Bad company 2. Can't wait to play it halo style
Halo reach is amazing.. it has alot of potential to be one of the best games of next year...
OMFG guys, i was the guy that got shot at 1:53 !! I can't believe I'm on a RoosterTeeth video! I'm freaking out!
oh my god when invasion launched i played so much. my halo reach beta intake doubled...
lol i picture the rocky at the end *rock music plays* *music randomly stops* elite "hey i was listening to *elite weird death noise XD*
lmao at the glitch at the end

That's scorpion's mom is going to be sad-jack
LOL
That same thing at the end happened to me, I died just as I got the core to the goal, I was pissed, so I respawned and grabbed it, and won, lol.
This gametype is freaking amazing. I love playing as covenant for once. Dodge-Roll to jump ftw. You get swords in the end, and you know what, that carbine-needler has some quirks over the DMR. Also, I've never lost a game as an Elite :S

@atmdusty the health system kinda makes it a little more realistic if you get shot in real life you're not gonna heal after staying behind a rock for a couple seconds
rooster teeth always makes my day =D
i love these guys.
the elite at the end is fuckin doin a victory dance!
Hahaha, I noticed the little glitch at the end of the video. The elite's arms were just like the Halo 3 Hammer of Dawn/floating spartan laser glitch.
In the new firefight mode you can make your own mode
Make yourself uber and you can easily get the killionaire acheivment
I think this bears more of a semblance to TF2 in terms of the capture points and map expansion, but I can definitely see the battlefield part of it as well
>_> At the end there, the elite was going all funky. You might want to check that video again Geoff.
@GUNxSPECTRE I only compared Reach to BC2 because you basically did in your post. And I wasn't really comparing both games entirely. Just those two gametypes. the elite glicth at the end
The elite at 1:57 goes all Crank Dat Soulja Boy after he captures the core. Youuuuuuuu! :D
0:38-0:40 Geoff: Take the core to a Spartan Ship
0:26 Geoff: Battlefield Bad Combat 2
Having a Bad Day?
@FunGamingSWE Reach isn't a fail; it's the beta, it's still in development.
@carletodago117
Noble team are from the Spartan III(3) with the exception of Jorge who is a Spartan II(2) put into Noble team. Also, Spartan I's(1) never really got given proper spartan armour, and were never as strong as the spartan II's. An example of a Spartan I is Sergeant Johnson
the medles looked so kool in the beta
yeah this game is gonna be awesome, i hope they don't shut down the halo 3 live multiplayer though
Lol the elite arms at the end are like, wahtt the fuck!!! and the dumb elite went the wrong way that was hilarious
I'm a ps3 owner but iv played the beta and i dont see whats wrong with taking winning aspects from other games into your multi player it just makes it more fun and diverse i hope more games do it in the future then we might actually get a FPS that is as good as COD 4 again.
haha at the end the elite so happy that won the game it went demented! :D
@Ninjasniper21 They do have slightly more health and stronger shields but they are also much bigger targets, they're like twice the size of the Spartans.

great video, really helpful.
But you didnt explain tiers (new class / weapons each round)
@dalarana
indeed games that must not be forgotten
@AchievementBunker Lets see, Rooster teeth have been making halo series since the first halo came out, they are sponsored by bungie themselves, they run one of the most widely viewed Achievement guides on the net, and they were able to make Easter Eggs Cameo in halo 3. there should be 2 seats in the phantom the second seat has a gunner facing the back of the phantom so no sneak attacks from behind
BEST GAMETYPE OF ALL!!!!!
cool, energy sword execution 1:35

seems pretty creative
lol at the end watch the elites arms freak out haha
Battlefield Bad Combat 2... When you play as many games as Jack, they start to run together.
@Wolfstanus The alien equivalent of the touchdown victory dance
That fail was ME!
teh needle rifle thing is awesome
"You're available now."
"Haaay."
i can't wait for reach.. the new invasion map looks SO fucking cool. also the anti-gravety one... :D
@halomaster167 They aren't called "classes". They are loadouts. "Classes" just happens to be the word Infinity Ward uses for it. However, the loadout feature in Halo Reach is nothing like the Call of Duty classes, which is why calling them classes causes confusion.
"your available now" "heey"
bungee has been taking notes, theres a lot of influence from MW2 and Bad Combat 2 in this.
Haha that looks awesome!!
@SPNZ11 It's Halo... There will be skulls in the final game. If not. There're skulls in headhunter :·]
"your available now!" "Hey..."
