    Such a gentle couple we will never know who difficult or easy their lives are but from appearances they appear to live a peaceful life with their children. Thank you for allowing us to see family life at its best.

      This is so sweet! Thank you for this comment. Like everyone else, we have our ups and downs, of course. But this is a typical day for the most part. Kids are older now and we are older, too, with different challenges. May God help us all ❤️

      Most likely, depends on the residence you choose. Try avito.ma or mubawab.ma. Made a recent video asking FAQs about Morocco, check it out!

      We have not! Honestly, for the things we wished to enjoy like food etc it just wasn't on our mind. But I do think it's worth it to see each country's history!

      Wa alaikum as salaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh brother, happy to answer you and glad you stumbled here!
      Honestly, there isn't really anything like unsafe here from what I've seen and no bad news really. Only thing, that I worry about is bad deals and a bad drive haha.
      Rent for a 2 bedroom empty apartment can start at 180$ unfurnished and up. The more expensive apartment will have like it's own garden, pool sometimes and near good amenities bank, Cafe, masjid etc which can start between 300-400. I've seen 800 but that's highway robbery for Moroccan economy but yet still cheaper than America. So depends on what you're going for. You can also get a furnished apartment with good amenities as well 400-550. We tend to keep 550$ as our cut-off budget.
      Buying an apartment is $25000 and up. The more expensive the better location and the pool and garden etc. Stand alone homes, cake villas starts at $80,000.
      But safety is not an issue, Moroccans are very welcoming! The only con for me is being away from my parents🥹 Thanks for the comment and I hope Allah protects you and keep you well too!!! 😃

      @American Muslim Guy ! 🇺🇸 mubawab.ma. Marrakech is overrated with the tourism. Locals recommend Tangier I've never been but will soon in shaa Allah. Fes is really hot in the warm season but we loved it. Mohammedia is excellent for families. Happy hunting!

      @@ibraishah how about tetouan i've heard good things about there

  • @abdulmw

    What city do you guys decide to live in and why? as Morocco is too big.

    • @ibraishah
      @ibraishah  Рік тому +8

      Mohammedia, as it seems best place to raise kids. Quiet and calm yet snugged between major cities Casablanca and Rabat. Plus it is cooler compared to Fes. But Fes is calling us but one day in shaa Allah... Other places where tourists flock Marrakech or just big cities Casablanca have a level of fitna like the west you want to avoid. Tangier is another good spot as it is quiet. But most locals we met said Mohammedia is better for kids.. so I think we picked a good spot for now alhamdulillah. I'd definitely avoid Casablanca and recommend others to do so too!

      @abdulmw Рік тому +1

      @@ibraishah Thank you for sharing brother. We were considering first FES to teach our kids the Deen but now we are leaning to Tetouan it seems calmer than Tangier and not far from there, to the right there is city called Martil coast town but too many tourists. We will pull the trigger sometime later this year around Thanksgiving holiday. Besides we live in DFW so we can find direct flight from here to MAD-TNG. I have a question for you, how did you find the transportation in Morocco?

    • @ibraishah
      @ibraishah  Рік тому +3

      @abdulmw transportation is easy honestly.. especially if you have 1 or 2 kids then it gets tricky with the taxi laws. You'll need 2 taxis due to limit. We didn't feel the need to get a car until the 3rd baby just so we travel together. But there are trains, big and small taxis, private/hire taxis, and inter city flights.
      We've just vacationed in tangier and it just developing and not so busy. If you plan to stay in the area often and not really explore as much tetouan sounds excellent but Tanger is good as there are quiet areas. Most of the hustle is in the old city and as Fes. The new city is quiet not many stores, few malls etc. The private taxis work in the busier areas where there is more traffic. But we enjoyed Tanger alhamdulillah, good people. You definitely want to integrate in Morocco as much as possible. We'd love to have our little hijra community arms distance and say come Mohammedia. But it's important to blend in. May Allah make your journey easy ameen

      Bus and trams are a thing here too but trams so far in Casa. Most new things they are introducing seems to be done in Casablanca first

      @@ibraishah Thank you bro. One of the possitive side for our journey is that my wife is Moroccan but she has been out of Morocco since 2008 but the language and culture won't be a problem. Our mission is have the kids finish the Quran and learn math and science at the same time.
