This boss killed my guild. We spent 90 wipes trying to get the weakauras to work for everyone, but every week it randomly broke for some people, reinstalling them only helped for some, and eventually people burned out because it felt like we're progressing addons, not the fight itself. I know, I know. Thousands of guilds killed it so it means we just suck.
It's probably important to note that with the release of 11.0.5 dracthyr evokers will have their knock backs nerfed by 15 seconds (3 minute base, then spec into 2 minute CDR). This means evokers will no longer be able to knock every set. DPS druids will be the best bet for that, or by having alternating evoker knocks, which will be a bit trickier
Haven't tested this myself yet since we are starting progression next lockout. But this should do it: /run WeakAuras.ScanEvents("NS_PA_MACRO", true) /ping [@player] Assist
yeah, ive just started raiding mythic for the first time sincne shadowlands in a pretty casual guild, and i was surprised to see us clear and reclear without any hassle the first 4 easily, but ovinaxx is unreasonably much more difficult
Can someone help me with the interrupt assigns? :D An example MRT notes for Ovinax would be enough. Also, do we have to mark every single worm when they spawn?
I think the opposite will happen, the healers will love you to bits if you stacked this heal absorb so they actually have something to do in between going to a new zone.
@@Mittke88 I healed that fight and i did not care about padding, mostly because i main shaman and i was trying to optimize mana usage, so yes i prefer ppl not getting 2 stacks of dosage absorb
what a mess. it's TERRIBLE design to need a handful of mods to even have the fight make sense visually. just lazy by blizzard and makes me long for the days of tank and spank patchwerk bosses that didn't give me eye strain

if you're mage and dont want to play blink for the webs, play Energized Barriers and use barrier after receiving the debuff to dispell urself
Yeah Blink is a hard pass on this fight. Energized Barriers all the way. Not having shimmer is just tragic

grabbed this northern sky weakaura and it's totally broken, always giving 3 for 1 position

Your healers will hate you if you
stack 2 egg breaks absorbs (11,6m healing absorb) but i agree it's better than not breaking an egg

when you say macro for world markers, do you mean you can macro to place all 4 at specific world coordinates for that boss arena?
I think its just a place @cursor macro and they just know which eggs get each color
No, each person has to place their marker for each egg set but an @cursor macro makes that easier.
