Just saw this , I Have same for 7yrs. I use spot lock on troll motor for front and reg bottom anchor on back and can stay fairly still in any depth of water, if that not secure enough I do drop anchor on front and back. On shade I use reg shade like for pontoon boat .

I use a sea anchor (aka Drift Sock) to stop the Merry Go Around. Also slows you down when you are drift fishing. You can even deploy two of them. They come in several sizes. Thanks for being candid and transparent! Remember this, when in doubt, set the hook! Because, 'jerks' are free!

Man iv been looking at these boats for a while but so little info out there.... Hows it handle large wakes?
Considering for me and 2 young sons for flats and island hopping in outer banks nc. Some spots do require running with big boat for a little bit

This thing was designed for the flats and inter-coastal waterways. They are manufactured in NC, so, I would imagine they are made for the waterways in that region. The stability on this thing is amazing. I never feel like I'm gonna tip or anything when moving around in this thing.
I will try to get some footage of it on choppier waters during my next video upload, but it handles about the same as other 15 foot boats I've been on. In other words, if you are fishing around ski boats and larger vessels in choppy waters, you're prolly gonna feel it lol, but if you are like me and like fishing channels, mangroves or more calm isolated spots, it doesn't get much better.
I would not recommend taking this thing offshore though :)

Hey, how did the Santee do with 3 big guys on it? I'm thinking of getting one and i'm wondering how it does with 3 people.

We had 3 average size guys on my boat and it did just fine. We only moved around 15 mph, but that was plenty quick enough to get us to where we needed to go. As far as space goes, It's tight, but doable. One guy fishing on the front deck, one in the middle and the CPT has the back deck to himself :). My dog and gear were also all on the boat!
