What are you talking about?? Lot of people cross the border everyday into Canada.I will only come to usa just to visit a friend for weekends.I can move in and out daily.

Canada is a small country compared to the USA in terms of opportunities but not land mass. Only any two US major states can be equivalent to Canada. Plus, the USA has more warmer climates most year-round to Canada's only summer clime. That is why I picked the USA over Canada in 1980s. I spent 6 months in Canada and toured all her major provinces in the 1990s. It's harder to gain stay in the USA than in Canada. So if you are undocumented and in the USA, it is smart to head north into Canada where gaining residency in a Commonwealth country less risky.

Canada is the Great White North, I get that, that is if you like 6 freezing months every year. I don't. Does any combination of other U.S. states and of California/NY/Texas not rival all of Canada's economic engine? Do the research, Ma'am.
I have also been to all the US' lower 48 and most of Canada's major Provinces by 1993 so am not exactly clueless.

Interesting story. Anyway, people who cross the US border to Canada are people facing immigration challenges not US citizens or PRs seeking greener pastures. In fact Canada has a better healthcare system among others but in a whole, USA 🇺🇸 is the place to be. Ask Twene Jonas. 😁

I can confidently say, people who run from the US to Canada are mostly F1 and B1/B2 visa’s who are seeking for permanent residence which is literally easy to get in Canada than US.

Why was the marriage to the Filipino woman a determining factor of easiness in getting access to Canada? Two people fell in love got married and decided to migrate to another country.
