OMG! I miss working with clay and ceramics and slips and glazes and kilns….so much! I am a hand builder myself. Could never throw that well. But handbuilding Im there! That is so gorgeous! It reminds me of my last works, omg so many moons ago. I made suns and moons and hanging incense burners or small planters all with character faces. I think my city community classes has even ceased for ceramics..I will have to check. Lovely lil SeaDragon. I used to see these whistles a lot at craft fairs or the Renaissance Faire, but they were always donut shaped. This is way kooler! Great job so gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your gift of art!
Yes. Air dry clay works just fine for this project. You could also try to use a glass bottle as a base for it and put air drying clay over. On UA-cam you can find a lot of videos how to do it. Good luck.
