I know spurs played pretty well and definitely gave it a go and tried to win (I expected nothing less), but it wouldn’t surprise me if just in that singular moment son decided to miss on purpose, or at least not do as well as he could’ve with that shot
It is not a fair statement to mentioned it was Son's miss but rather a great save from Ortega similarly how Emi Martinez saves the shot from Kolo Muani too. A miss is when he shot is wide rather than being save by the keeper. It was indeed a shot on target. Let's celebrate with a save from Ortega rather than a miss from Son.

Except we're talking about Son. He almost never misses in 1v1 chances. He's probably the best or one of the best finishers and he misses a 1v1? Nope, not buying it. Maybe he didn't do it on "purpose" but there was definitely something holding him back subconsciously for him to miss that. There's a reason Spurs fans are calling him a legend for missing that shot.
