As a youth coach nothing is more damning than losing a game of football. I can't think, can't focus, my mind is wild, replaying every moment of the game in my head, the patterns, the fundamentals and the mistakes. I cannot imagine how this one moment compares to Premier League managers who are consistently under pressure, they've just lost or tied a game that they needed to win and the axe is looming over their heads at every turn. Worse they have to go in front of a camera, show bravado and comment on how they'll turn things around. It's damning.
Slaven Bilic was always going to be sacked this season. West Brom only gave him a one year deal after he got them promoted, they had their plan set out before the season started. That was shown when his team drew impressively with City and he was still sacked.
I always thought the Liverpool job was too big of a challenge for Rogers at the time due to his lack of experience, and it really showed in most of our seasons under him. Swansea to Liverpool is a big leap. He's more experienced these days so I'd be more in favour of his appointment if Liverpool were in a similar situation back in 2012.

Nah not really. AFC is a club that won’t sack unless they feel there is no direction. Anybody who knows football can see Arteta is building a foundation. The club isn’t as stupid as the others to just sack him. Correct yourself

ESR is the only positive under Arteta and maybe the FA Cup. If he wins Europa then okay but two consecutive seasons outside top 6 is simply not good enough
@@atharva2982 not good enough indeed but he wins it there's a bigger chance of him getting a contract extension than getting sacked. Wenger got it over a couple fa cups and top 4 finishes. Knowing how poor Arsenal's record in Europe, a EL win will definitely secure his job.
