I am an old woman now but I can honestly say, I would have given anything to have had a Dad like you... not for what u can give but the love you have for your family, kind heart and the things you value. I am a childhood dv and s/a survivor of 2 alcoholic parents so seeing good men that are role models encourages and inspires many of us. Keep your family vlogs coming... they are wonderful to watch. God bless you all. Love and respect from East Tx.

I've had neighbors that were LDS and they were the best people. The gave me a heart attack for Valentine's day. Meaning, they plastered my garage doors and my front door with paper hearts and left a heart full of candy. It was the sweetest thing. 💕

Dude I am a disabled combat veteran who is struggling to find beautiful people who have pure hearts and want to help others. Every time I see you have a new video I can pretty much guarantee that you are doing something that is going to be of great help or value to someone who is in need. Not sure if you really realize what this means for some of us that have given what we have and seeing not shit in the way that said thank you for the B.S. we been through. It's people like you who have given me hope in my own life that there's good people in this world still that care about and are willing to help people out just because you are the way you are. I truly hope you have a wonderful and long life with your family. Because from what I have seen on TV and here on UA-cam. I feel that your making the world a better place for you and everyone and everything you can. God bless you all.

Some species of evergreens have cones that look like they are indestructible, however they have actually evolved to burst open from fire. Look up deodara images. The pinecones are all wrong.
This is the tree that was in front of my house growing up. This was my house, and this was the tree I loved climbing to the top of! It was a Moroccan cedar. Was brought over seas to Utah. When my mom and dad moved in, in about 1963, it was almost dead, but my dad dug around it and saved it. The guy talks in there saying the branches are flat and he doesn’t know what species it was . . . Ya, because it was unique and not from around there. I am sick to my stomach now, and with a broken heart. I can see the good thing it is that it will be a tree house for children now. So kids can climb in it in a different way. Also, the woman’s reaction at the end of the video also healed my heart some. It is a treasure.
Sometime I will get over the sadness. But not right now.

I was born poor and I will die poor but my wife and I made the plunge and bought a house like 4 years ago. Mostly because building a house on her dad's property was cheaper than renting around here. Rent is like 2 grand a month or more and our mortgage is a bit less so we threw up a cheap prefab house.

I grew up in that house. The tree was placed on a rare tree registry about 20ish years ago and it was there when my parents moved into the house in November 1963. It’s a Morocco Cedar from the Atlas Mountains of North Africa. It is (well was) the largest one in the State of Utah. It was the only cone bearing tree of its kind 20 years ago.
There are three on the State Capitol grounds and there are five on the BYU campus. There is also a Liberian Cedar which is on 26th Street and Nichols on the west side of the church parking lot.
There are three true cedar species one is the Morocco cedar one is the Liberian cedar located in the area that Christ walked and taught, and the third is the Himalayan cedar.
In the Atlas Mountain It grows 1 foot a year and reaches full maturity at 300 years (300 foot high and 100 foot in diameter). It obviously would never get that big as it isn’t in its natural environment. Sad to see it go.
