I think the blue shell color combo is the best, that translucent blurple is gorgeous!
It really is the prettiest shell!

I have the Blue one too! I love it. I charge it with the cord it came with (very short cord which is rather bothersome) and I plug it into my Nintendo Switch dock to charge and I haven’t had any problems. The Blue Uni is the best one!
Plugging into the switch dock is a great idea! I love the blue it's such a great color.

Oh gosh now I need it to take it all apart. Got Pink with blue back, blue buttons and faceplate, than Purple with pink back, pink buttons and pink faceplate and now they did Blue one with purple back and buttons and faceplate..... it's driving me CRAZY 🤪

I got my first uni yesterday, they had the pink und purple one on sale for only 50 euros at a local store so I got the purple version :)
sadly they didn’t have the blue one, it’s sooo pretty💕

But I am definitely used to the needier old ones, I keep checking on him every 15 minutes because I'm worried he's getting hungry or sad but he's still just having a good old time with his toy, not a care in the world! Definitely a much better pet for a busy working adult like myself!

I don’t have a Tamagotchi Uni and I’m very tempted to get this one, the shell is so beautiful, but I heard there’s going to be a Sanrio version. Should I get this or just wait?
Hi! The blue shell is definitely my favorite shell that is out so far. The Sanrio version is only a rumor right now. If you only want to have one version, then I would wait until this summer to see what gets announced. I would expect an announcement officially between April and June. If you have the money for two, then I would suggest getting this one now so you can play and participate in all the games now as July/August is still a ways away.

@@BohemianCatcity I have never actually ran 2 Unis at once, but I have run multiple tamagotchis and it depends on your definition of overwhelming. If I forget to send them to the sitter in the morning then yes it can be overwhelming during the day trying to juggle a job and taking care of the Tamas. I prefer to just run one at a time, maybe two with an original or a Nano included as they are easier to take care of.

I’ve just found your channel and I love it! Thinking of getting my first tama to attach to a water bottle to encourage me to drink water every time it beeps. I’m torn between the original gen2 or the uni. Which do you think would work best for this purpose in terms of how frequently they beep for attention/require attention in general. I’ve heard some people say that neither of the two models beep to alert you that they have pooped, is that true? Also do the alerts come through when the uni screen is dimmed or when it is on clock mode. Also can it stay on clock mode? Any help would be much appreciated!
Hi Joanne! Thank you for commenting! I think if you are looking for something noisy to help remind you to drink water then the original gen2 would be the way to go. They don't make noise when they poop, but if you don't fill the hearts up all the way it will beep very often and that should help you with drinking water! I never have my Uni sound on so I honestly couldn't tell you what the alerts are like. I just know that you can't leave the clock face on and the screen will eventually turn off. With the Gen2 you can leave it on the clock.
I got my blue one the other day and I'm in love with it, I set it to the Oceania region I already had the pink one set to north america, not sure if I should get the purple or not, if I did it would just be to try another region
I haven't started my blue one up yet, but I am planning to try the Oceania region on it!

That depends on how much money you want to spend. The new Unis haven't been officially announced yet, and even then they won't come out until July/August this year. If you want something to play now I would say go for it. You'll get to join us for all the Arena games!
