@@PatrickStarForPresidentit’s quite literally any random NPC I think I once had a NPC who was kidnapped I turned in a quest to them as I saved them lmao
skjor will assign the quest if vilkas somehow dies. maybe bethesda had plans to kill vilkas in a quest that was scrapped. i know that only because of a mod that disables all essential marked characters.
Each Companion gives different kinds of quests. When still alive, Skjor gives quests to hunt down an Escaped Criminal, recover a Family Heirloom, or rescue a Kidnap Victim. Vilkas takes over those quests when Skjor dies, but he also has radiant quests to help slay dragons at their lairs. (This can be a good way to locate Dragon Lairs, if you haven't found them all yourself at this point in the game.) Farkas has the dragon slaying quests in common with Vilkas, but also has the "Hired Muscle" quests and the "Trouble in Skyrim" quests, which require you to clear an area of Bandits, Falmer, Vampires, or whatnot. Aela gives radiant quests to hunt down and kill various animals. She also gives quests to hunt down and kill Silver Hand leaders, or to steal plans from them.
You can, I've tried it. The front door of High Hrothgar is locked, but if you have a horse you can shimmy up the side of the mountain beside the building, to get to the courtyard. The door from the courtyard to the building is not locked. Arngeir just asks you to respect their solitude while you are there, the rest don't talk to you. I even managed to use my horse to climb all the way to the top of the mountain. Paarthurnax wasn't there, but I did get the Notched Pickaxe from the top.
You can also get it from the Dawnguard. The dude was the trader from Riverwood. He was dead every time I tried reloading the save though so I didn’t even get the chance to save him.
Once I was doing this mission. The kidnapped was Lucan Valerius, I went to rescue him, but he was already back in his shop in Riverwood. Looks like he escaped without help and thanked me.
Wait so a woman canonically was kicked out after accidentally killing a guy but we get off without any consequence?? Even the dark brotherhood has more repercussions than that.
She killed one of the Companions, I guess they only care about each other's lives, not anyone else's. Personally I think the Companions are just as evil as the Dark Brotherhood, possibly even worse (I mean, your initiation ritual is basically to turn into a monster and go slaughter and EAT whoever you want, the DB at least have rules about who to kill). It's deeply weird that they are basically a respected institution instead of an underground group everyone hates.
@@gamlamanBecause let’s be real, the lore of most of the game is shaky. Every quest line, especially the guilds’ needs about two or three more quest to feel natural and connected to the characters. Locking the guilds if you didn’t do some quest or if your skills are too low would be a step in the right direction too (we remember how the College of Winterhelm can be beaten without a single spell).
i killed him first time on accident because he came running at me when i was panic healing. Thought the poor dude was an enemy, had to reload like, six hours of play back to that save when i found out because i felt bad.
@@chillfactory9000 Even still, that should take you down a rank in the companions, or have some kind of negative consequence that makes it harder to continue to move up the ranks or something. You failed the tasks the companions gave you. There should be consequences.
What happens if you save your first visit to solitude for the final stormcloak seige? Can you or Ulfric save Roggvir by waiting until the end of the civil war questline
Do you think that if you stayed as a werewolf in the eyes of the companions you still have some of that animalistic hunger so they assumed that like there beast just killed him?
Vilkas:"im sure it was an accident."
Db:"nope 👁👄👁"
Dragonborn: *Goofy laugh* "I'll do it again!"
That was what that woman something The Unbroken has said when she killed a lad, but the companions didn't accepted her
@@Dhaos620 Uthgerd, at the bannered mare?
For me the kidnapped man was Nezeem...so...yeah, guess he doesn't get to the cloud district very often.
I turned nazeem into a fork and threw him into the ocean
Wait… how?
Unfortunate... lets be more careful next time

Red Lizard would be proud, Hail Sithis!
'I drew my fishing rod and killed him.'
You're too dangerous to be set free.
For even me a challenge run God haven't thought about a fishing rod playthrough. That's truly diabolical
Love the dragonborn dodging the real answer like "Oh no he was killed :C" instead of "Yeah I killed him [shrug]". Vilkas left none the wiser
It was the "I drew my fishing rod" that got me lol 😅
Vilkas is like: oh no.... anyway

It’s amazing to think that Peter Parker has a base on Mars.
Wha
It makes me so mad that that’s all you get after completing the quest line for them just more quest
Keeps the companions interesting plus farkas asks you to cure him as a quest and villas might
Free xp and points
You can marry all of them and use the Harbingers bedroom, too. Also, Nord hero weapons and ancient Nord armor are craftable.

I am wondering if it will be possible to meet the greybeards before they summon us.
I'm pretty sure high horathgar is locked until you get the quest if I remember correctly

Of course, the Dragonborn doesn't take responsibility for his action 😅

Takes 8 business days to get the answer tho

did you turn off all auto saves because you could have just reloaded one from where you entered the place?
I hate this so much about Skyrim. You aren’t able to fail. “Oh he died? Shucks.”
to be fair, the PC does lie. "____ was killed" conveniently leaving out the murder aspect.
