What ever happened to demo’s like this. Ballsy mid-tempo riffs, and dare I say chords. No chugging, no shredding, and no guitars tuned to the key of rotting flesh. This was PERFECT! Seems like this pedal really shines on the plexi style circuits. It sounds spectacular on the Suhr SL68, as it does the SL RI. I’m way late to the party, but a great demo, just the same.

WOW.....and I thought the SD-1 was a great match for a plexi-style amp. That sounds absolutely spectacular!

sounds marvelous...you some of the best tones iv ever had is from od pedals in front of a marshall plexi and even a clean plexi at lower volumes ...heck Andy Timmons whole resolution album was done using an od box in front of 2 marshall jmp's set completley clean....were you using a master volume on the amp?

I agree that you can get great tones with a pedal into a clean amp. Master Volumes, yes, on the head and the DSL40C.

Nice demo! Can the Clean Boost and the Mid Boost be engaged at the same time?

Hi, no, you get clean or mid boost separately. Using it in mid boost mode is the same as having both, you're getting the volume boost with the added mid frequencies being boosted, also. It's not like having a clean boost pedal, turning it on, then turning on a mid boost pedal to push the clean boost. No cascading with the Koko.
      Thanks for watching!

Hi! So in this order you are using the koko boost before the amp drive channel, right? what do you think also about doing the opposite, so putting the boost in the send and return, having it after the drive channel? have you tried this way with the koko boost? If yes how does it work best in your opinion? Thanks and congratulations for the video!

Hi Luca, I've tried it in the fx loop, it works on the DSL40 but I still prefer pushing the front of the amp with this type of boost
      Thanks for watching the vid!

Killer playing ! Love it ! I think I hear a slight Eddie Van Helen influence here in a few riffs. Are you a pro guitarist in a working band ? Thanks !

Mitchell Ferre Yes, EVH is an influence for me! Not a pro but play in a working band. Thanks!
