    Aaron's little speech is even more heartbreaking now we know what Gordon had done to him

      I hadn't thought about that, but yeah, now playing it back, it is more heartbreaking

    Knowing Aaron's history made his message to Jackson's Dad far more painful.

    Loved it when Aaron stood his ground with Jerry and told him a few home truths and then later when he came back in the room and saw Aaron holding Jackson's hand - it was his way of saying "I'm not ashamed and I'm staying put" - Danny Miller was amazing.

    Still love it when Aaron stood his ground and gave some heartfelt truths to Jerry. Then coming back to give some truths of himself. Love you Danny. Warmed my heart to Aaron rubbing Jackson's hand as Jerry came in.

    Loved the episode! Great acting and writing! You all are right. Nothing like this in America. I am floored by the writing. And from a soap! Clearly some artistic differences with American and British soaps!
    Aaron ... awesome! Spoken with true insight! And the hand caress ... priceless. Loved every part of this. I don't want it to stop!!

    This is such a big step for Aaron and at this time in his life. To stand up to Gerry without being violent towards him reli shows how he is realising not only that he loves jackson but how to deal with his emotions in different betterway. Please Jackson be okay ♥ :(

Thanks all at Emmerdale

    @JSJHarrisburg Absolutely! The writers achieved a new level of respect with the vignette that introduced Hazel. A superb piece of writing -- and needless to day, acting. But as good as these actors are, where would they be without these writers? Bravo.

    Way to stand your ground Aaron...LOVE how the truth was used as a weapon to shut Jerry up!!! Awwww and it was so tender when Aaron was stroking Jackson's hand..I really hope Jackson doesn't have brain damage when he wakes up, his contract is all the way thru the Spring time so I couldn't imagine the writers torturing us Jackson fans for that long*sniff sniff*

    Wow Aaron WOW!!! You finally stood up for your man!!!!!!!!!! Very well done baby. That bastard needed to hear it. Still don´t like that Jerry at all. What he did to the lovely Jackson, to his own son, is unforgivable. I love my boys.....and J please hurry up!

  • @AOP25

    As it turns out, the conversation between Aaron and Jackson does make a lot of sense: Jerry understands what he has done toward Jackson is Wrong and Aaron finally realizes it wouldn't get him anywhere good if he keeps on doing what he's doing! The worst is he might lose jackson forever. So afterall, Jackson is just like Luke where he has brought out the best in Aaron (after everything, makes him realize he does love Jackson and Aaron knows more about jackson's past) Jackson, please wake up!!

    @SteffyPlum
    Yes definately.. Aaron was frightened by not only who he was but what everyone else was thinking.
    NOw after finding out how Jerry acted.. Aaron saw himself and how he was and now can see what Jackson saw in his actions.
    I for one and pleased as punch to see Aaron matureing sooooo much now :D

  • @globalman

    And FINALLY they give Aaron dialogue worthy of him. Facts and truth........ The father is really a coward and bully who only goes after weaker more vulnerable people. Aaron showed him his Alpha Male nature and the father fled with his tail between his legs. HOORAH!

    If this was a film, Danny should be up for an Oscar! (Who knows, maybe he will one day). At 19, the sky's the limit!
    Back to the story: wake up Jackson, so want you to see how much your boyfriend loves you.

    glad that aaron finally stood up to jacksons dad (looked hot while he was doing so)... and that as adults they came to some sort of mutual understanding... its ashame that this had to happen for aaron to realize his true feelings for jackson though... but i guess this is soap land...

    Well put!
    and yes Aaron was fantastic in this.
    Hazel.. man I just love that Lady! Not once did she back down and wow what emotion she is capable of.
    Jackson still amazes me how still he can be with all that stuff attached to you. not even the eyes while they are closed move in teh sightest!.
    Jerry.. I think he is definately seeing that no matter what happens Aaron will be by Jacksons side and knows he needs to change.. how much is the question.

    I LOVED the confrontation between him and Gerry. LOVED IT. There was a slight potential for violence, but Aaron wasn't going to do that to Gerry, while in Jackson's room. Once Gerry heard what was said to him, he couldn't deny it anymore. To face that you MAY just lose your child and you never got to make things right (or take back what you said and did to them) because you might not get the chance?

    +Emmerdale Fan soz I was overly emotional and he said about how the man who was meant to look after Jackson, take him to football when football was the excuse Gordon had, turned on him and I was in a really emotional place when I watched this and just kinda started crying😂 also accidentally deleted my first comment which deleted yours so idk if your see this

      +Emmerdale Fan yeah I watch ed when I'm emotional and write loads of comments I prob shouldn't, also the first comment is a bit of a mess bcuz I was kinda a little drunk yesterday when I wrote that😂😭

  • @zanthus7
    @zanthus7 14 років тому

    Aaron read Jerry like a book. Way to go. Now that Aaron understands why Jackson is the way he is about violence, Aaron will go out of his way to be better. Let's pray that Jackson wakes up - or that the writers don't write Marc Silcock out of the story.

  • @superxx57

    This was a great episode. I just wish it didn't have to take nearly Jackson's life for Aaron and Jerry to start appreciating him. Well, better late than never...
    Anyway, the real test comes when Jackson is conscious and walking. Hopefully, he won't be taken for granted anymore.

  • @SteffyPlum
    @SteffyPlum 14 років тому

    I can´t wait to see Jackson whene he sees His father, together with Aaron, all of them sitting by his bed waiting for him to wake up.
    its weard..Aaron was so scared what people whould think, of him being gay and what the village would say if he came home with a guy but look at the village now..all thinking of Jackson, Aarons boyfriend..

  • @ETSINTERIORS
    @ETSINTERIORS 14 років тому

    @MetaOvid Yes, while it is true one should avoid sitiations that could result in violence, it is unrealistic, however, to assume that every person would choose passivism as a first responce. This is a learning process and I do believe Aaron is learning when it is or is not appropriate to respond physically. To be honest, there are situations in which one must become physical. In some cases of self defense it is the only response- lest one is seriously injured or, God forbid, killed.

  • @SteffyPlum
    @SteffyPlum 14 років тому

    @jodezak it kind of funny people think more about if he´s going to get in to trouble than that he´s gay.. like when Aaron buy him a beer after J helped him with the guy who wanted to beat him up. All in the pub were afraid that they would start to fight and did not even think it was a bit of a date happening....
    He´s geting big, our boy.....

  • @jodezak

    As good as the progress may be in this episode for Aaron I'm worried about it further down the road and what their relationship will be like....if that. I have a grave feeling about when Jackson wakes up that Aaron will not want to commit to Jackson, partly because this is a soap after all and isn't heartbreak usually what happens?
