Steal and cast aluminum is the finest weld there is,am in the process of doing the alternator on my spifire,thanks for the video.
Thanks Paul, if you’re planning an alternator rebuild (and are in the UK!) Ulster Rotating Electrics were the place I found selling full rebuild kits (bearings, and all electrical bits) for £20ish.
Throw the ACR away and fit an A127.
Well, as I just destroyed the old one there’s not much chance of refitting it :D Thanks for the model number, I do want the engine bay to look fairly stock/period so I’ve got some research to do on a replacement.
