Great to see some love for Dragon Force, this game trully deserves it =) Also, I've got to say that it sounds pretty neat with the Mega Drive/Genesis sound, very well done. thanks. looking back, this is probably the one I'm most proud of, as I tried to fully make it sound like it came directly from the Genesis (without using a tracker, didn't have the time to learn how to use one). and I edited a MIDI for it, so I didn't start directly from scratch. I haven't messed with FL Studio (program I used to make this) in over two years, but I've had some thoughts about returning to it recently.
I can see that, it really does sound like it could had been from the original hardware. No wonder you're proud of it! I haven't touch FL Studio for a long time as well, but I was also thinking to try the last version, to see what new features it includes. Would love to learn to use a tracker too, but I suposse first would be better to do things like this with FL, heh. Anyway, great job, and thanks for the reply ;)
I've tried to get other DAWs that aren't as bloated as FL, but they either don't work with VOPM (the VST I used for this song), or they were just too hard to torrent/too expensive to outright purchase.
Interesting, thanks for letting me know. I've used (a little) PreSonus and Pro Tools among others, but yeah, FL may be the most versatile for VST plugins as far as I know (or at least the most known one for that matter). And I agree, prices in this kind of tools are usually prohibitive...
