The Feral people sure do a good job maintaining that trail...
Bahahahaha
💀
Feral superhighway...
lmao
@@arthurchadwell9267 Lol Life is a feral highway I wanna ride it all night long
I did notice, at the time you heard clicking noises, besides the noise of the waterfall, the birds stopped chirping. When the woods go quiet, watch your back. Those big hairy forest people may be in the area. Could explain the camera malfunction and the heel print.
Or a "rake" crawler type...
No one has any evidence. Only videos of them pretending to hear noises.
It is funny how city people don't believe..
I don’t think these two guys go out in the outdoors much. Some of the things they say are hilarious
They’re you tubers😅
Behind computers
These guys don't even know how their equipment works, technically. Most of the things they say are hilarious.
Brian is ex military you babfoons.
I’m going to agree with you. They’re on a hiking trail and act like they’re exploring jungles deep in the Congo.
I was thinking about making a video about the feral people of the Catskills in upstate New York! I’ll go on a well broken trail like in this video and find some cliffs and rocks. I’ll imagine there’s an extensive cave system just filled with feral people waiting to snatch away the weak and their pets!! Lmao 🤣. If there are feral people, which I don’t doubt. Although they would be well off of any obvious broken trails. Wouldn’t they want a more substantial meal, like these two guys that would feed a village of feral people? I’m sure they could easily take two guys with no weapons who can’t run too fast!! I know if I were a feral person, it would look like easy pickings!!
The question I would've asked is where did the feral person go after it was discharged from medical?
Exactly,,, just leave ya hanging, anyone???
Back into the woods, I would think.
Or died from disease
There is no cure for Kuru. Same as Mad Cow Disease.
Jon, you should have walking sticks a click from side to side in front of you could save you from a snake bite. I very much enjoyed this video and I'm so glad you're back!❤️
Not to mention, carry a firearm. Have at least a .45 automatic or revolver for snakes, predatory animals or even as a deterrent for a random, straight up crazy person that could suddenly appear that has even a micro-sense of reality. Sometimes, just the sound of a shot or two into the ground can scare off any animal or person with malicious intentions.
We had to be careful on a particular boyscout hike through there, because hikers were known to be attacked by residents living somewhere in those woods. They did not like hikers in "their" territory. That was 20 years ago though.
how convenient 🙄.
Always go with hiking partners and (rules be damned!) a firearm.
Glad to see you back, Jon! Hoping you are well.
I am great. Glad to see your comment
Who wears shorts to hike a mountain trail? Poison Oak, Poison Ivy, chiggars, and there's highly venomous Timber Rattlers all over those damn mountains. If a big one was to get a good hit on your leg you'd be dead before you got to the nearest hospital. I'm glad y'all were lucky that day.
I don't think pants prevent snake bites anyways, I got bit by a python and it went through my jeans, just had two little blood droplet holes in my leg.
@@JessicaD.-vb9ho boots..... high boots lol
Appalachian Trail Thru Hikers do and they hike more miles in 6 months than you have in the last 6 years. Now STFU. No, I don't get replies and won't see your rxtarded response LMAO 🤣
Hi John! I believe you went through Stinging Nettle. It has needle like hairs on its stem and has that same reaction on the skin you both are experiencing. The leaves of that Nettle are a wild edible and is loaded with vitamins & minerals people used to forage and eat in Appalachia and other wild places.
Once-for-ounce the most nutritious substance on Earth. All you need is a lost hiker every once in a while for protein.
Make sure to boil those nettles before ea. Place mud on the stings.😮
Give your legs a good scrubbing with mud.
Let it dry as you hike.
@@michaeldyne4788 I stuck my legs in the Ice cold stream for 30 minutes when that happen to me. Feels like a bee sting.
Interesting video. Curious about the man found and was transported to hospital, did anyone (law enforcement, etc.) try to figure out where he came from? In other words, any type of investigation from that aspect?
I would like to know too!
@@bermillion007 I tried to do a web search. So far, all discussions about this topic hinge on folk tales, superstition, legends, etc., which I would think if someone is found that could be put into this classification it would be major news. Also, law enforcement would have been first on the scene if a person is found and an investigation would have followed. That's just procedure. Guess I'll keep searching just in case.
@@melissaallen4796 did you happen to catch what area they are in? Maybe a local news search would be effective. I don’t know though with the way state parks like to keep such things hush hush
@@bermillion007 I'm not sure if he was actually in the park or not. I'll try to find local media outlets and search. I'll let you know if I find anything.

This is wonderful Jon to get your take on Feral people. I love it when you and Brian explores together your safer in number and cellphones seldom work well in Mountain range's. You and Brian owe us a camping trip. Be safe and God bless
Hey Jon not every human settlement In our country Is up to the 21st century It's kind of cool to learn about people like that as long as you do it safely.
So glad to see you. You're one of my East Tennessee connections. I'm stuck here in Az. I miss home and seeing and hearing y'all helps so much. Thanks. Gonna watch now. ❤
I'm about to move to East TN. I do not know a single person and would love to get to know people before I go. Any suggestions?
Check out the churches . You'll find some genuine..lovely people.
It looks beautiful there but also creepy with no one around, those noises are sçary 😱 be safe out there Jon. ❤️✌🏼. ÇALI 🌴
This is chilling.
In the old-fashioned sense.
The more chilling as the more plausible.
That clicking sound could be communication to each other, but there are stories about clicking aliens up in the trees.(Since he mentioned the equipment not recording in some places)
I have heard of these feral people before. The first reports I heard of them were from hikers on the AT. There are many reports of hikers seeing/encountering feral people on the trail. Kinda creepy. I probably wouldn't sleep well.
Glad to see you posting Jon! Beautiful forest there! Any plans for some paranormal investigations? Stay safe!
I stumbled across your channel a few days ago..I absolutely love it.!!
Fascinating subject, well worth researching.
Found your channel through Brian's. I'm so glad I did!! I love watching your channels and content!! Thank you! Keep it up!
Hey Jon, this was interesting and creepy!!! You may not believe me but I felt that y'all were being watched!!! Not sure by what but definitely something or someone was watching y'all!!!
I enjoyed this, it's great to see another video!!!
Much love from South Carolina ❤️ xx
May God always bless you, keep you healthy and safe ❤️🙏❤️
I actually thought and felt the same thing, that they were both being watched
Right!! I kept looking for something with eyes
Bigfoot... :)
They pointed the Thermal up in the little cave under the bank.
Culvert odd out in the middle of no where.
Yeah I think it was logged at some point
The trail follows an old abandoned forestry Rd 👌 they are not far from civilization....... Some would say they haven't left it , yet
Nice catch.
Ladies, if any guy asks you out when you're at the Family Reunion... just say 'NO!' and walk away... lol
Oh wow been waiting on a new video john😁
The forest got quiet after that clicking sound.
Hell yeah welcome back Jon
Thanks
Hi Jon! Good to see you going out with Brian - 4 eyes see more as 2! I like it every time you go together and each is filming in his own way, so that we can see the area from more than one side! At 23:08 on the right screen, it looks like a huge X, made from trees that didn`t grow there....
The big foot that Brian caught on thermal is amazing! I would love it, if you both could go to that place to do a size comparison and a comparison with the thermal. The huge figure was totally yellow...like no cloth at all.
You got the klicking on video! Strange....
In my element watching this video, love the wildlife takes you back like you're there .
Can we all just take a moment to thank the producers of The Descent for Making America's Woods Spooky Again? 😆
Good to see you again Jon Love this Series Fantastic Footage
I agree with another viewer Get your self a Good Strong Walking stick💪👍🙏❤️
Great video Jon, love to see your view vs Brian's. Hope to see more !!
Thank you
What's your problem, about time your back great video, keep them coming buddy thank you and goodnight...
Looking forward to the next episode in this new series!!! 👍🏼
I saw one in early fall in the year 2002 while squirrel hunting. Will never forget it. Was like looking at a caveman I have had people try to convince me that it was a baby Sasquatch but I refute it.
It is extremely rare to find anything like that
What are those double red lines on certain trees for?
Trail markers
Those ferrels marked the trees for you and cleared the path, that was nice of them.
Thought you stopped your channel. Glad to see you posted this video.
My mothers family is from Ashe county . I live between Mt Mitchell and Roan Mtn. I have Native American and Eurasian ancestry. I’m in the woods daily and have never seen or heard of a feral person. The main problem we have in the mountains is drugs being brought in. And people moving in that that try and change our culture.
YAY!! YOURE IN MY STATE!
I love North Carolina
Hi John great video I have miss you
Great video of John
Hi Jon, glad to see you’re back. The Roman Soldiers would rub the Stinging Nettle on their legs to warm them up in winter. Also, Nightingales make their nest in Stinging Nettle’s and then fly all the way to the Sahara to have their babies. Where I’m at in Northern California, the Nightingales sing all through the night. Flying to the Sahara is a long way from here. Stinging Nettle is nutritious and makes a great tea. Stay Safe Brother
"Wahhat izz the speed of a Nightingale in flight?"
(Do you get the reference?😊)
Great video!!!!
That's a Logging Road look around you at the forest there's not a single one of those trees that's over 80 years old
It's a beautiful natural area and so really big. I'm not surprised what with all the poor homeless people now in America. Better to be there in the clean woods than the cities.🌿
Correct me if I'm wrong aren't you on three top mountain. It looks two familiar I'm from Mitchell county and I used to go up there to deer hunt and to stay with a long gone but never for gotten friend rest in peace Big Jim Johnson
Yes that is Three Top Mt on the old logging roads. It took a moment and then I recognized it
The plantain plant.🌿 That helps many people with stinging nettle burns. 🌱 Sometimes it is good to learn about a few of the very safe helpful wild herbs and or to have a herb book with good pics and descriptions when out in the woods. 😉 🙂
Im glad I found this video. I like yall's style. Now I am interrested about feral people living in the hills.
If they eat people I hope it is only their own people that have died of natural causes. I was wandering about that because of the ferral person found with that sickness that people only get if they are cannibals. 🤢
Jewelweed works wonders! Just crush the leaves and rub it on the affected skin.
Maybe he got sick from eating a diseased junkie from the city! 😉
Spooky!👍😎🇦🇺
I ain’t never heard that clicking noise that I remember in the woods. New one to me now.
You sure make my skin crawl 😮😮
This is going to be interesting
That reminds of watching the movie called Deliverance. That movie was actually filmed in the same are where Lake Joccassee in South Carolina.. Awesome editing as well as the video.
No squealing like a piggy though 😂
I've been there. Your description is perfect. The hills have eyes!
I love these videos Jon. I feel like I'm at home anytime I go into the woods. The waterfalls makes it 100 percent better. Thank you so much for taking us with you. When are you and Brian going to put out the video of the trail cameras yall put out?
Thank you.
thats a well walked trail you can see regular red paint marks on the trees
Love the music Jon
Slogging through there and NO snake boots or gaiters? .. my boots been struck twice already this year by a copperhead and a cottonmouth, in the same stuff you just walked through, and you think nettles ruined your day?..lol
Beautiful area!! ❤
You are right, it is a beautiful place and we love it.
Great video Jon.
Hey Jon good to see you again 🇺🇲🖖
If this helps, I've heard a couple of times from a few different sources that if you are out in a wooded area like that, and you start getting a smell of Cucumbers, there's likely a Copperhead Snake nearby. I know, sounds weird & Really off the wall, but I've gotten this from 2 different people in my life, in 2 different Northeastern states who had never met each other, but who' both were avid hunters & fishermen, and had spent Lots of time in their lives out in nature from childhood being taught by older family members, how to both appreciate and thrive off the land in nature if and when needed.
I've been hearing stories like that wild people.. i guess a few years ago a story hiker's found a whole family living like the 17.. 18.. hundreds.. a bunch more hikers found a native American tribe that was still living like there ancestors did.. I'm surprised that the people made it out of there alive.. it's just a story right.. who knows what is out there it's a large amount of land
You should see about doing a Paranormal investigation at the old Courthouse here. It's now a Heritage Museum but known to be haunted. ❤
Bro I know you and Brian are country boys and know the snakes I wish you guys would wear snake chaps. Just bc your on a path doesn't mean they won't attack.
That clicking sound you heard, might be one of tge ways they communicate with each other over a distance, so that they can be heard & understood by each other without actually speaking. I say this because my Dad went a visited Scotland before he passed away, and he did so partly because we have family history there, and, he wanted to go and research some of that, he was about age 6 or 7 when his Dad's Father passed away, and remembered some of the family history stuff he was told then, and I guess he wanted something tangible from the generations that came before him, he rented a car once he got there, and a got lost a couple of times in some of the more Scottish Highlands areas, and in trying to ask the locals there for directions at least back to a fairly main road, he realized very quickly that he'd be pretty much on his own, because among strangers, the highlands people speak mostly only Scottish Gaelic, so that they can speak about you directly in front of you without you being any the wiser, figuring that you don't know that language because many outsiders don't. So those people probably came up with their own form of communication for the same reasons.
You go into those mountains a certain time of year and run across ginseng diggers you would wish that you're meeting a feral person. Ginseng diggers don't have much patience.
It's great to another video from you but I saw brain's video on his channel and yours it's both creepy videos you both be safe out there in the woods ok thank you for sharing this video like always
What’s Brian’s channel ?

The feral people have in fact moved to Australia. They can be found at any b and s ball, usually driving a shitbox commodore or falcon Ute and identified by the wild mullet and trail of rum cans. I have seen them in person!!
Cause u are one .😂
There are still plenty in the states. Need to issue hunting licenses on some of them. That should get the woke's in an uproar. LOL
Interesting subject Loretta Lynn's mother was left alone at like 6 to fend for herself & 2 younger siblings in the Appalachians. Through at least 2 winters. So sad.
Big ol X at 28.29. Bigfoot country. Probably the clicking sound
There are things back in those mountains I have been around 20 miles back in there when I was younger used to go down for the summer break when I was in college stayed up to 4 weeks it’s a different place when you go way back in there
Very interesting video. Would like to know what the clicking was
The clicking sound is wild turkeys
If you track the river to the cave it comes from, they probably live there, or nearby.
New subscriber here! Lets get it!!
Nettles aint no joke. Brushed some picking mushrooms on a trail once. Lit me up for a couple days. Felt like I grabbed a fire ant nest.
Jon, I bet that cool mountain waterfall felt amazing on your legs that were ravaged by the nettles.
Right before the 18 minute mark when you were standing talking about separating from Brian Brian what is that yo your right looks like a very small tree in front a dark spot that looked like a hole.
Yeah I think that mountain is riddled with caves
Hi Jon what is Brian’s channel called please absolutely great to see you back x
Black Mass Paranormal
This was a funny video thanks for Sharing
john you really need 2 buy shorts that zip into pants and vise versa seen alot of them in the 90s
I saw Brian’s video of this (I think).
Yay, you saw my message…..lol
Around 32:00 ish their looked like mini caves around and some of the trees looked altered.
Nice path...
The clicking (or knocking) sound may be a bigfoot alerting others, The malfunction of Brian's camera, momentarily, may also be caused by one in the area, as this is common with all electronics. Staying on the trail is not where you are apt to find much of anything. Footprints are generally found near water sources. Bigfoot is common in the Appalachian's, especially so in TN. Wish you had posted Brian's channel name.
Like the movie the predator…. Hear that clicking you’re screwed lol (get to the chopper!)
I grew up in these mtns,in TN and I still live on a MTN 17 miles from town. I've never seen a feral person down in TN, but I do know just the regular original mtn ppl will not appreciate you " being somewhere you don't belong". Mtn ppl are clannish and can these days it can go from calm to killing real quick... I hate it if ppl like that exist, it's a shame. Take care go home safe
Whenever your ready I'll take you Cryptid hunting here in Harlan bro
JON!!!!! You would end this with a cliffhanger now wouldn't you?! I bet you're laughing your ass off with the comments like mine too. 🤣
I live in Ashe county! Have all my life. Hate I didn't know you where round here. Never have I heard of feral people and I've always road on the back roads of this county. I'll have to check into that.
Hellow John and Bryan my name is David Adams I to am very fascinated about the wild people of appallachia I live in Virgie Ky but I'm from Pound Va in the past years ago I went on some exploring adventures of bigfoot maybe one of these days I could hook up with you guys and go on some expeditions with you you guys stay safe and be careful and God bless
Imagine if a feral dude just came out in the open. I don’t think there’s any such footage of them. I’d be afraid of bears too, heavy bear territory.
They wouldn't come anywhere near public, I'd imagine they stay as hidden as possible and avoid strangers. That's probably why they're so imbred.
Ferals would be the ones wearing the bear skins.
Liked, subbed... Can you tell us which trail this is, which park?
If you look for them. You will most definitely find them. Them feral people are all over North Carolina
Ashe Co.!!
It would be interesting if he did a blair witch exploration lol
I grew up on colliers loop in chestnut hill. If you go up mcgaha hollow til you get to a stop sign. Locals know that if you turn right at that sign you come to forbidden caverns. But if you go left or up the mountain and just turn left at every stop sign. You'll come out at lanes market in Cosby. Off English mountain road. But you'll find 100 year old houses with people living in them some without electricity it's something out of red dead redemption if anyone has the time you should check it out. Sorry I'm behind on your videos Jon hope your doing well. Bring me some of that pyrite next time.if your allowed to haha
29:23 I’m pretty sure I seen one walking down below you guys straight ahead!
Question: were you guys on the Three Top Mountain trails? It sure looks like it. We live up on Three Top at the game land.
