It's a nice way to break up the combat. I feel like people would get burned out by the game if it was purely combat sections for its entirety, and it clearly has a lot of work put into all the various gimmicks introduced as you progress the story's TV sections.
Definitely feels better in combat with a controller. I just don't like UI navigation without a mouse. My only gripe with characters so far is that Anton is a 4* dps. He feels straight out of Gurren Lagann and I wish he was strong lmao
@@pieperson444 He's not harder to play lol. You just need to optimize energy on his teams. I meant that he'll be easily powercrept with the first limited lightning dps.
I really like it so far too! I’m lvl 25 and anyone below this level shouldn’t have anything to say lmao. That’s like playing genshin only in mondstadt and saying “the world is really small! It sucks! “No shit people you’ve seen 1% of the game
That’s a perfect take on that! I think most people were already wired to hate the game before it released and even if they enjoyed it their mind was already looking for things to rip it apart. That being said looking forward to the future of the different possibilities for new locations.
I feel like that was just heavily based on the biased thoughts going into it or trying to compare it to other games which is fair. However I try to proceed with an open mind when trying out new things and I know for games especially ones like these you need to experience what the end game offers because it’s where most of your time will be spent after the first week of play.
I stopped playing after 10 because there were core things I hated about the game (characters don't interest me, parry system sucks because you're forced to switch characters, and that a lot of the combat feels braindead because challenge mode only made enemies HP sponges, not harder) Do they actually improve anything for the combat? People are saying the combat gets better, but refuse to explain what.
So far the combat feels the same through out I don’t feel like anything was added in the 30-40 range except enemies have a couple more attacks in their patterns. Other than that it does seem they attack more frequently making you need to utilize dodge more than counter. But I feel it every game is not for everyone. I’ve been down that road with plenty of games where I just didn’t resonate with it at all. You also have your fair reason and I don’t think anything is wrong with that.
@@DragonTheVagabond Gotcha. Yeah, I think my mistake was taking the advertising for granted. Really skewed my expectations for the game. A lot of my friends who ignored the ads found the game fun and that seems to be a recurring theme right now. Hopefully ZZZ just improves from here, I was hoping it would be a mobile Scarlet Nexus, but it has its own different identity.
While I really want to enjoy the game I honestly don't want to spend my time and effort just to get to the "good" parts of the game. I got to level 30 and I just said "yeah this game aint for me". I came into this game expecting more combat focused gameplay because thats what its advertised as. Instead i got a dungeon crawlers with a little bit of combat. I feel like I've wasted my time because people kept trying to gaslight me into thinking the game gets better. If someone doesnt enjoy the game in the first few hours its okay to just not play.
I feel it and I’m right there with ya. Plenty of games friends of mine have done the same for me where I play for a whole day and I’m like when do I get to have fun. For me zzz is very simple and with my 10 hour work days I don’t get much time on the pc so games that offer simplicity in gameplay it works well in my favor to grind them out when I hit slow times on the phone.
After playing through the story and reaching IL 37, I can say that it gets much more combat focused and the dungeon crawling stages are quickly getting more and more scarce, so in that sense I don't think the advertising is misleading, which is the same as the 100 pulls promise. I also think that Mihoyo should not have thrown such a significant amount of TV stages onto players' faces right out of the bat, and should have paced them more evenly so that players do not get overwhelmed by them.
@@gsm_liv8980how so more combat focused, abyss is literally a thing shared in all of their previous work, it’s the endgame content that test your acc, not your skill as a player, you can get thru these just like how you get thru the main stories once you leveled up your characters, weapons and discs to the requirement stat that satisfy the dps baseline to finish within 5mins benchmark All those videos you see clearing current abyss floor 10 with S rank are p2w all above level 40 and also grinded significant amount of good discs, they spent in game current to purchase stamina which isn’t applicable to f2p players if you value your resources for pulling characters/weapons in future ZZZ is just the typical stat check causal arpg gacha game, same as HSR and Genshin, they all share the same property, that is being light weight and low skill ceiling so all types of people can ‘play’ the game, the negative reviews for the game is justifiable bcs ZZZ advertised themselves to be something else, a high skill ceiling action game, which it isn’t, so it’s false advertisement, naturally people would not be happy to be disappointed, and combined with the fact they didn’t specify the free 180pulls aren’t all limited character banner pull that adds oil to the fire, negative reviews get even more heated
I like the TV stuff
Same here some of them feel a tad drawn out though is all in terms of objectives not the time spent in it.

There are 4 locations to explore for now
i genuinely like this game the combat is great the perfect dodges and parries are good i just really hate some of the exploration missions
I feel the same way I want more combat and longer stages with diff enemies through out

I’ve been enjoying him a lot. Also yes he did give me some major Kamina vibes!
I really like him paired with the maid and the bear… sorry still haven’t learned names yet lmao.
He's still Good though
But yeah he's too awesome to be a 4*
learn his infinite combo, he's plenty strong, his numbers are as good as ellen he is just harder to play

@@thomgizziz playing in the beta doesn’t discount what I was saying… take your soulless attacks else where.
finally, a zzz review past early stages. all the other review hating on the game i watched are only on the early stages of the game
Can't blame em, game has a hard time catching that spark on the early early hours lol
Felt it was only fair to put some real time into before I gave an opinion

U gotta level up the gear at 40 lol
Was that thumbnail face saved for a horror game review? 😆
My first time in a long time doing one with face haha now I’m scarred for life 😂😂
@14:44 "I have no clue why they don't have this in every other game"
Because normal studios don't have the balls to force you to download 100 GB
Not all games are this graphic intensive lol. Most gacha games are tiny little games.
57.8 GBs after unpack, about 20 on mobile
