And video games were already kicking off hard before that, I think around 2005 or 2006 is when video game consoles started to get into every home. Before that there was no MT's, there was no DLC. We would sometimes get an expansion, and they had (And I kid you not) probably less than 10% of the amount of people interested. Gaming companies are making so much money, they don't even know where to store it.

I have over a thousand hours in game, but I just don’t have that drive to grind dozens of hours a week. Same reason why I’m not doing more Eidolon hunts, because my main limiting factor is grinding Wisps. I don’t have the patience or time for that.
They are optimizing their engine like to the max, IDK if you been reading steve's twitter post. He is fixing the lighting, and redoing color corrections. The DE team are making everything as smoothly as they can, but do know that they can only do so much. Sometimes the player also need to make some upgrades too.
Here is why destiny is great. I think the best way they make money is from people buying plat with their money. Now IF THAT WAS THE ONLY WAY to get plat, this game would suck. But since it’s NOT, and you can farm prime parts to trade for plat. Thats already a huge plus. But then they took it a step further and made sure that there wouldn’t just be a shit ton of prime parts lying around because you can trade those in for money to use with the trader. ITS SO SIMPLE YET SO ELEGANT I FUCKING LOVE IT
And they keep the older prime parts from going super high in plat prices, by having prime vault come out every so often, and releasing some older prime with Twitch prime! Man I love this game!
I can already think of one. Summon the Hoverboard from your gear wheel, quickly swap to Tenno mode. WF is now stuck forever on hoverboard if you die in OP mode
Warframe on PC is more or less the only "forever" beta version of Warframe, there they have full control on their updates and have all the freedom to throw even 3 hotfixes in a day with the feedback received making it the best way to look at a beta for the final "console-ready" version of the update to get the go. Warframe itself, to me and probably many others, doesn't feel like a beta anymore outside of hotfixes for the PC players, all the systems and mechanics are open to reworks and overhauls but that doesn't make the "beta" title by itself, else we would also be calling LoL, WoW, TF2, OW, PD2 and who knows how many more games "still beta".
Sadly UA-cam no longer provides a way to replace the original audio with your own custom audio. But you can replace it with some free stock music files from the YT library. Sorry man, maybe next time

Rhino Prime sets were 500+ plat, Nyx Prime was 300+ plat. So I have to assume that's why they're getting unvaulted.

DE kinda helps with that by letting you trade standing for wisps at onkko but yeah it will be a while before we get the less grind option
