After Death Battles horrid take on Vader Vs Obito, me and Crisis have decided to come together and give the most accurate representation of what would go down if these two were to throw hands. Not only should you go over to Crisis’s channel and check him out, but go look at the most recent livestream he did, where he and I both debunk the death battle. Death Battle insists that Legends and canon Star Wars are equal, which is just blatantly false; we’ll just be sticking with Star Wars Legends as they have and continue to lean on it for their scaling. Star Wars is an American epic space opera multimedia franchise created by George Lucas, which began with the eponymous 1977 film and quickly became a worldwide pop culture phenomenon. The franchise has been expanded into various films and other media, including television series, video games, novels, comic books, theme park attractions, and themed areas, comprising an all-encompassing fictional universe. Star Wars is one of the highest-grossing media franchises of all time. Putting Infinity into something is a paradox, Infinity cannot be contained as it is beyond being contained. These people are implying that simply because something was used once in 25,000 years of the SW timeline by a Sith Vader can use It in battle, completly ignoring how the character actually fights. Vader doesn't use these mind hacks or Sith magics, he is a physical fighter. He uses doom moch (fancy word for DARK SIDE TRASH TALK), but that's It. Both characters are strong enough mentally to survive each other's mind hacks, so the resonable way out would be to eliminate that factor as a whole. This video isn't the greatest, hope someone in the Naruto community debunks It.

@@Westley6578 My problem Is not that a Sith can defeat Obito, my problem is that THIS SITH can't defeat Obito. If you tell me that Palpatine, AKA Darth Sidious, the guy who learned to BEND SPACE AND TIME woth the Force can break through Kamui I wouldn't complain, my issue is that they picked up a guy who cannot do that and them forced a victory by MASSIVELY overestimating his skillset and capabilities, and even scalling him to feats that he couldn't possibly do, like the Supernova stuff you can do with Sith Magic. Many Star Wars characters, like the previously mentioned Palpatine, Darth Krayt, Abeloth (a literal GODESS of the Force) and even Grandmaster Luke Skywalker could defeat Obito, but Darth Vader doesn't have the hacks necessary to do so.
Don't even have to scale Darth Vader to the Ancient Sith for a victory, he can win with just the films.
1. In ANH Vader says the Death Star is fodder compared to Force users.
2. Right after ROTS Vader is stated stronger than he was as Anakin who at his peak as a Jedi defeated Count Dooku who is confirmed to have universal power.
When Vader caught the tailed beast bomb and squeezed it down. That should have been it. There should have been no way that Vader lost, and the Vader victory would have been way cooler because of how much of a demon Vader is. Maybe not a demon because Vader is not as low as that, Vader is the Devil himself.
While he does that, which takes a considerable level of concentration and time, Juubito is already behind him cutting him in half with the Sword of Nunoboko. This video ignores all of the small details behind the skills mentioned, you don't simply snap people out of existance with the force, specially someone that spents more time phasing out of existance like Obito, or being a flying WMD like his Juubito form. If this video was correct, that Palpatine shouldn't worry about reincarnation in his clone bodies, since he could easily survive the explosion of the Death Star and the vaccum of spcae considering he scales above Vader.

Another thing I'd add is that Senjutsu-the manipulation of natural life energy-is able to affect Truth Seeking Orbs despite its stated resistance to all Ninjutsu. What is the Force if not the manipulation of the essence of life, since it is an energy field created by living things and helps bind the universe together? As such, Vader using the Force to counteract Obito using them against him should have been entirely feasible.
The destructive force would still be there though

And apparently current canon still has Star level feats from Sidious who Vader is…somewhat in the same ballpark of even if he’s clearly inferior.

You can’t really use power amps in Naruto to directly multiply a characters speed because they’re not shown to work like that. Kiba for example was reacting the exact same to CM2 Sakon as he was base Sakon. Deidara who thought base Sasuke was really fast reacted to a chidori from CM2 Sasuke. MFTL+ isn’t really something that exists in the Shippuden manga. Also Juubito cannot use Kamui. Vader bullies.

It is literally explained in both manga and databooks that chakra = physical stats. So every chakra amp is a physical stats amp. The characters simply get stronger as they fight.
Naruto characters had already been FTL since part one, since they were kids. Vader doesn't stand a chance, we can even scale KID OBITO at universal+ via creating the kamui dimension (which is a space-time, and is also stated that he created it. Creating a literal space-time scales to uni+ according to the tiering system. He created it with chakra, which scales to physical stats like I said before, so yeah.). Hell, we don't even need chakra multipliers to scale Narutoverse to MFTL, I can easily show you some calculated feats that already get them at this speed.

alot of the times death battle is just making characters they prefer win, look at the Green Arrow vs Hawkeye video for example they make Green Arrow lose and their excuse is that Hawkeye has stronger arrows... despite Green Arrow literally being able to just dodge the arrow, not to mention Green Arrow outclasses Hawkeye in every single other category like hand2hand combat, agility, shoots arrows faster and has less drawback weight which gives him the advantage and their excuse for him losing is stronger arrows...

Bro how they gonna kill him with some cheap illusion trick? Sure he regrets and heavily blames Padme’s death. But the DB writers obv never read any of the comics where time and time again he overpowers illusions of padme and his dead friends and beats the breaks off the enemy. Two cheap tricks like that wouldn’t phase him to kill him like that.
The first illusion, sure. Heck you could even say that's why it didn't do more than throw Vader off for half a second.
But Vader's not overpowering Infinite Tsukuyomi nearly so easily. Genjutsu, illusions of all variety, are commonly used in the Naruto-verse, which means counters are also commonly used. Pretty sure any half-decent ninja has a way out of at least a basic illusion. And Infinite Tsukuyomi still catches all of them. It is no cheep trick.
Even if we assume Vader could still overpower the Infinite Tsukuyomi while inside it (which I don't remember ever being shown to be possible, but hey, in the Force all things are possible), I'd be willing to believe he couldn't do it fast enough to dodge the sword.
...Which now that you mention it, kind of retroactively justifies why Obito dealt a killing blow instead of just leaving Vader in the illusion. If it _could_ contain him, then Obito would've wanted Vader to live out his days happily in the illusion; but if overpowering the Infinite Tsukuyomi is on the table then Vader's gotta die before that happens.
(Not that Obito should know that, but I believe one of the rules of DB is that one combatant shouldn't win because of the other's unwillingness to kill them, so I can let that slide.)

Vader stabbed Obito in the lungs with his light saber, the moment Obito spit blood. He should have died right then and there.
In the original work, Obito has a Hashirama cell in his body that can regenerate when his body is destroyed. In addition, Kakashi destroyed his heart when he dueled with him, but that was just Obito's plan to break away from Madara's control and control the Ten-Tails in the past, so He could have survived even without the heart condition, which is why Vader didn't kill him

Vader has never encountered this type of illusion (not to mention that Vader star war characters have never encountered this type).
I hate this line of scaling for star wars, its, insanely inconsistent. You do all remeber Vader fighting Boba fet right? So which is it? Are Bounty hunters in star wars Galaxy lvl with MFTL+ fighting speeds ? Or is this line of scaling for star wars characters horribly inconsistent? (It's the latter)

I mostly just watch the movies and animated shows so this scaling for darth vader seems pretty out there and i assume everything star wars is canon but because of that some things feel contradictory like if vader could casually destroy planets why did he need the death star,and if everyone is casually light speed why do they get clipped by force lightning
Read comics and novels you cannot have a say as you watched movies and shows only
Vader in the movies does say the power to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the force. For the most part, the death star is more so a symbol of terror. It instantly crushes rebellions because it's something that can wipe out a planet in milliseconds. Powerful force users, like say Darth nihilus who absorbs planets, it takes them a while to do. For someone like Vader, who while still strong in the force, is like slightly below Luke in force power cos of lost midchlorians, it would take a great deal of effort to do it, whereas with the death star it is quick and efficient and you could wipe out like 10 planets in a row in a couple of minutes. Overall though if a really OD force user really locked in, they could do some insane stuff. Also for force lightning, it's just like you said, it's different from normal lightning, it just has a similar appearance and the electrocution properties, but it is definitely much faster. Cos say Yoda for instance, who we see in the movies and shows easily dodge light beams and has pre cognition struggles to react to Palpatine force lightning. I think who fires it matters asw cos he had no trouble reacting to count dooku and his force lightning. While I get your reservations, if you are just going off the movies, you can just see little insane feats here and there that you don't really think about. It's why the jedi code is so strict, they're legitimately invincible wizards with swords of that generate heat comparable to the sun lmao. Remember in like empire strikes back, Vader chokes someone who is like miles away. It's crazy
Tbf Legends and current canon are very different interpretations of SW characters when it comes to their power level.
To explain a bit with star wars characters beoing light speed they are indeed light speed and this is going off of legends because fuck that disney star wars crap. but since Lucas they have always been lightspeed well not exactly you see the force does a lot to help they can amp themselves with the force and they also have precognition due to the force that is where the lightspeed kicks in because the blasters that droids and clones use are indeed lightspeed. they use the force and precog to evade them. But can also amp themselves too even in the movies they do it.

Legends Vader also has the Kaiburr crystal for a bit, which canonically amps EVERYTHING (including EMOTIONS, mind you) by 10x.

The funny thing is about death battle is when the kakashi vs obi-wan the didn't let kakshi have dms (which doesn't make a difference cause obi-wan would still win) but let obito have 6 paths ten tails and inf tsyukuyomi which took a long ahh process to do but couldn't let kakashi have one eye which is crazy

In the end he followed Death Battle's claim of using the characters at their best, which is the Old Canon or Legends continuity as the New Canon is still dropping material from time to time and it's overall a weaker version.
@@Westley6578This kind of shows my main issue with the episode, the inconsistencies and use of a composite.
If it was just Canon and Vader lost, I'm sure that nowhere near as many people would've minded the result, the issue comes from the mention of Mortis and Legends as a whole, who give Vader a massive power boost and bring inconsistencies with the scaling.
Complaining for the use of Legends for the fight doesn't really make sense as the "using the characters at their strongest" logic is applied here.

People in this community are insane, you guys are so lost in "CALC STACKING" that you actually forgot how a fight works. It doesn't matter how many universes MUI Goku can destroy, he is not doing so every single time he fights, and the same applies here. Also, multiple skills refered in this video are only attributed to him by RPG guides and do not represent how he fights, so It's absurd to account that in the overall battle.
Another thing that truly frustrated me about this video is how these guys are simply assuming that Vader can do things when he was actually confirmed to be incapable of. For example, they scale Vader to the old Sith of the First Empire (Sadow, Vitiate, Ragnos, etc.), which in their head means that he is also capable of doing Supernovas and other crazy stuff. The problem? VADER DON'T USE SITH MAGIC AT ALL. At the time of the Empire most of said knowlege was lost, and what was left never was teached to Vader because Palpatine saw him as a broken man after Mustafar and did not believed him to be a worthy apprentice (that's why he wanted Luke to kill him in Ep. 6). Also, even trained Sith Sorcerers needed elaborated rituals involving relics, other initiates and most of all TIME to be set-up. Sadow cannot simply say "Oh, a shinobi, SUPERNOVA!" and instantly bring up such power.
Their "research" was so bad that they actually said that Vader is capable os using his own version of Force Lightining. If you're just a Naruto fan and only has a superficial (movies only) knowledge of Star Wars you would probably just accept that as truth, BUT IT IS NOT. What they are talking about here is a rare gift known as Kinetite, which is defined by wookiepedia as:
_"Kinetite was a variation on the Force lightning ability. It involved molding "Force energized lightning" into a sphere of restrained kinetic energy which could be thrown at an enemy. Instead of burning or electrocuting its target like most forms of Force lightning, it acted as a solid projectile."_
The problem? Vader used this only once, and just because he was being amped by a powerful artifact, the Kybur Crystal, and without said amp he cannot use said ability, and no other direct energy manipulation other than Tautominus (basically a super nerfed version of the Preta Path of Pain, the user can hold and deflect energy with their hands, like what he did to Han Solo's blaster shots in Cloud City). Again, in the SAME WOOKIEPEDIA PAGE AS BEFORE:

It's the type of stuff you don't bring to a debate because is, well, debatable. Once more, It feels that these guys are expecting people who knows a lot of Naruto but very little of Star Wars. Sadly to both, Star Wars has been my guilty pleasure for a while, specially after how bad of a shot It got at the hands of Disney. Anyway, the offenses don't limit themselves to the Star Wars universe. For example, they stated that Truth-Seeking orbs wouldn't work because the Force is "Spiritual Energy". Well, ALL CHAKRA ALSO HAS SPIRITUAL ENERGY, so I don't see the point. Maybe they were trying to equate Senjutsu with the Force, but even then what we see during the 4th Great Shinobi War with both Juubito and Six-Paths Madara is that Sage Mode can HELP YOU stand against the orbs but It is not a kyrptonite, Naruto and Sasuke could barely scratch them even whith both amped by Senjutsu.
I cannot also understand their Kamui argument. They imply that Vader would be so fast that Obito wouldn't be able to use Kamui to defend himself, which is crazy since he did that against Minato who, you know, TELEPORTS. Sith and Jedi can react to stuff and move faster than light, but that's still bellow INSTANTANEOUS, which is basically what Minato does woth FTG. That basically stablishes that 14 years-old Obito, who is inferior to his Rinnegan and Juubito forms, needs someone with at least teleportation to simply hit him once.
Oh, and let's not forget, OBITO IS A TANK. The same way Vader is unkillable in Star Wars, Obito is the hardest person to kill in the verse. He can survive an insane amount of time without multiple vital organs in base, while Vader needs to be enraged in legendary levels to acomplish something as simple as breathing without his suit (like when some fools tried to bury him alive, that was awesome btw). And even after you damage him, his regeneration is almost unmatched in base and godlike in Six-Paths.
In conclusion, I love Darth Vader to death, but the result here is clear. Vader is a beast, but Obito would have defeated the main character of the verse plus an army with everyone else. The only reason he lost was because Kakashi had his other eye and could counter Kamui, othewise the new anime would be "OBITO - Naruto's Infinite Dream" instead of Boruto.

I think the easiest and safest way for Vader to win this fight would be using the force to directly crush the Rinnegan of Obito.
Obito cant absorb or avoid organ crushing attacks (unless he is using Kamui at that same moment) and without the Rinnegan, Obito wouldnt be able to extract the soul out of Vader, summon the ten tails or becoming Juubito. Vader precognition should allow him to dodge Kamui and counter the Truth Seeking Orbs.
The main problem that I see is that Vader physical body is more vulnerable than Juubito´s due to the insane regeneration abilities of the jinchuriki so if Juubito managed to inflict a damage to his breathing system or robotic parts, Vader fighting capabilities would deteriorate. In that state it would be an attrition battle where Vader would simply lack the means to overwhelm the healing factor of Obito.

I think it's safe to say vader wins but it's more of which vader stomps harder. If it's legends Vader then it's without question he wins. In terms of sith he's in the conservation for top six or seven alongside the likes of Vitiate,Palpatine,Exar kun,Darth Cadeus,and Darth Kraty.

Thanos getting the gauntlet 100% falls under the same category of the Ten Tails, I would have to be ignorant to say otherwise. They did use comic Thanos but his analysis was full of MCU references that casual audiences would get. it even bleeds into Darkseid's analysis which has a Drax joke for literally no reason other than MCU Drax is popular. Thanos having the gauntlet was 100% because casuals think it's his weapon exclusively, and they're probably right considering even before the MCU all versions of Thanos have probably had The Gauntlet at least once, with the exception of the Silver Surfer cartoon.
Sonic collects the chaos emeralds once every game and the canonical ending of every game has him use the chaos emeralds to go super, there's not a single mainline game I can think of where Super Sonic doesn't appear once, even Sonic forces had Super Sonic as DLC.
From a casual perspective every version of Thanos you can think of has had the gauntlet, and Sonic might as well have the chaos emeralds all the time. Obito on the other hand to the casual viewer had to use prep to even get the ten tails, and ultimately he had the ten tails extracted from him.
I'm going to say again that I don't think Obito shouldn't have gotten the ten tails, they're so important to Obito as a character and his story that it would be like putting him against Anakin during the clone wars because he needed to get cut in half and left for dead on mustafar to get the iconic suit, I just had an issue with the examples you gave.

Y’all saying that the show fell off and what not but do y’all even watch the animations or just the episodes in general? Or do y’all just skip to the verdict and complain about how character A beats character B when it was, at that point, a close a debatable match? Just turn off your brain and watch the episode, the animation was fantastic with great writing and smooth movements. Easiest W in Vader's career. Especially when you take into account Obito's AP/Dura, and Speed is EU PT Padawan Level. The only category Obito would have above a EU PT Padawan is Hax.
Vader doesn't teleport. He is faster than the eye can perceive, but he Isn't capable of instantaneous travel. Obito's Kamui was on pair with Minato's FTG, which is actually teleportation. Minato wins at the end, but again, he can teleport and Vader can't. I don't see how you can possibly say that Vader can beat kamui without any Force power able to bend space and time, like Force Storm or arguably Shatterpoint. So yes, Vader has more Hax, but his single most powerful Hax scales above Vader's entire skillset and gives Obito the W. Bring Palpatine or Krayt to the fight and that's a whole other story, but Vader cannot win this duel at all.
@@bigbangrafa8435 According to canon and legends, Vader is the second most powerful sith lord of all time, and Palpatine the strongest. This means that no matter what feats other sith show, Vader is still stronger than them or at the very least is their equal.
Vader has precognition and the ability to react and think faster than hyperspace, this is MUCH faster than anything Obito has shown. Vader is also capable of destroying planets, and has enslaved a creature capable of doing so as well with the force alone. So we KNOW for a fact that Vader is at minimum large planet level, and he was able to tank hits from this creature as well, meaning his durability should be comprable.
This makes sense as Palpatine would easily be solar system + level, and he has used the force to control beings who are multiple solar-system - galaxy level.
Vader has the clear speed, strength, and durability feats.
Vader's precognition has also be stated by several people, including Palpatine, to be better than.... you guessed it, Palpatine's.
Obito can't even use Infinite Tuskiyomi, although Vader has broken out of an illusion cast by The Force (It was meant to show him his purpose, which was to kill Palpatine, but Vader broke free of it, and knew it was an illusion from the very begining.)
Vader also has a massie force barrier protecting him, and The Force is greater than spiritual and physical, it's greater than time and space as well. It's at minimum a 6th dimensional entity that the Truth Seeking orbs might not even be able to destroy.
Everything Obito CAN use against Vader is debatable at best, but everything Vader can use against Obito is factual (Aside from Force Lighting. We know Vader can do it, but we also know Vader doesn't do it because it hurts him more than his oppenent, this was stated in legends, but I imagine the reason stays the same for canon)
Kamui can also be defeated pretty easily by Vader, it requires an eye to be used, and it also requires Obito knowing that Vader can use The Force on his eye. Remember, it is described as working directly at the same time as the attack is happening, and Obito has been shown to be able to not react fast enough to attacks, not to mention Vader's attack with The Force, if it's Force Crush, is instant, only be limited by a targets Force Shield, but Obito has no such shield, ALL of Vader's attack will hit harder than in Star Wars because of it. Even basic humans have a small, natural force shield protecting them.

Saying death battle wrong for using non canon and canon doesn't mean you can use non canon be better by doing the fight death battle should have. Use canon for Vader meaning no legends stuff it never happened.
The thing is that he kind of did, Death Battle claims to use the characters at their strongest or their strongest version (or at least take them into account), hence why they used Archie Silver and Xeno Trunks for an episode, as their scaling for the Sonic canon would've made the fight trivial thanks to the massive difference in power.
And in the end why would you mind if Legends is used?
People can use the version of the character they see fit the most for a vs to make the match as interesting/ fair as it can be, in the end he used Legends for being both the strongest version of Vader and the original canon that George Lucas intended for the franchise.
In the end, each individual can choose whether they use the OG or New Canon for a vs fight, both are applicable for a fight and will depend on each individuals preference or way of doing a vs match.

OK on the one hand DEATH BATTLE! did under play vader and give Obito stuff that is most like not stranded but on the other hand the death in Vader vs Obito is relay, relay, RELAY good so I'll let It slide.

I Think Their Battle Animation Is Strong 7/10, But Death Battle Forgot That Even Canon Vader Killed An Entire Planetary Army IN ONLY ONE CANON COMIC ONCE AND THAT'S NOT EVEN LEGENDS DARTH VADER FROM THE LEGENDS CANON OF STAR WARS.
What lost me in the original fight is Vader being tricked by the Infinite Tsukuyomi at the end. The guy's entire power is sustained through his hate about himself for what he has done and everyone else for letting him do it. He is not delusional and doesn't wish for things to go back as they were. Vader accepts what he has done and he would have snapped out of Tsukuyomi simply by utter rage towards Obito who just dared trying AGAIN to trick him by using Padme.
Going by Vader's feats in films only, Obito stomps him easily. But I gather that Vader's feats are much crazier in novels and comics, which I have never read, so I don't have much authority on that. I feel like all star wars characters look weak in the films.

@@cnpanimationstudios3224 I know, but I always feel like the films make the Jedi and Sith look so wimpy and then fans are like "Actually in a novel Luke destroyed a planet with his mind" or something like that. It seems a little strange because they never do crazy fears like that in the films even when it would save them and most people have only seen the films and the canonicity of the novels has been changed before. Meanwhile Naruto characters are OP across all media. They don't look wimpy in films, novels, TV, and or manga. It seems more consistent to me.
If we go by the films, we know that Vader is faster than Obito to begin with, and if we expand it to include live actions tv shows then we know he is stronger. Including comics, animated shows, and books increases the gap between them a massive deal.
The characters are actually hella busted, but even in the films you can see that they're broken. Like Vader being able to completely stop blasters from hurting him, moving faster than light (blasters are confirmed to be light speed in the star wars universe) and having more power than the death star as claimed by himself, AND by Palpatine. Just the first three movies show that Vader is planetary level, but it's so casual nobody every goes to remember it. We even see Vader kill a mf hundreds of miles away from him without thinking about it, it just happens.
Also, in Episode 1 we literally see Obi-wan and Qui-gon just.... flash away from blaster fire in the first like 30 minutes. We see a young anakin take on the seperatists and win, and in the second, and third movies their powers are further expanded upon, Anakin is like 16-17 years old in Episode 2, and he is 19 in episode 3. Bro is HELLA powerful and skilled once you take his age into account.
@@KraNisOG Saying that Vader reacting to a laser makes him as fast as light is the same logic I've heard people use for a million other franchises. Anytime a character jumps out of the way of a laser or deflects a laser fans will argue "lasers move near the speed of light so the character moves as fast as light". Death Battle used that logic to say that Link from the Legend of Zelda can move at light speeds because he can jump out of the way of lasers. But obviously that's just silly. Nux Taku even used that type of scaling logic to prove that all characters in Naruto are faster than the speed of light.

I saw this desth battle brougjt up in another power scalers channel and the youtbwr brought up god Vader and i hate that. The worst thing you can do is bring up a comic version of a character because that means its just a different character as the writer has free will to make this version as stupidly op as possible. I like Manga because we get one consistent version of a character and the stories are more for plot rather than... what ever comics do.

Genjutsu wouldn't affect him. Aside from the fact that both dark and light users have a natural force barrier against mind tricks. Not to mention the fact that they can sense mind attacks. This was truly insulting. You guys argument basically Is "See what literally the collective of ALL SITH IN HISTORY could do, what Obito can do against that?", completly ignoring the fact that Vader wasn't capable of doing most of what you listed. He doesn't use magics or mind hacks, and he lacks the powerful talismans of the Old Sith. You two completly ignored who the character is and how he fights, and just dropped the book of the Sith on the table and screamed "EXODIA, I WIN!" in a childish way. People in this community are insane, you guys are so lost in "CALC STACKING" that you actually forgot how a fight works. It doesn't matter how many universes MUI Goku can destroy, he is not doing so every single time he fights, and the same applies here. Also, multiple skills refered in this video are only attributed to him by RPG guides and do not represent how he fights, so It's absurd to account that in the overall battle.
Another thing that truly frustrated me about this video is how these guys are simply assuming that Vader can do things when he was actually confirmed to be incapable of. For example, they scale Vader to the old Sith of the First Empire (Sadow, Vitiate, Ragnos, etc.), which in their head means that he is also capable of doing Supernovas and other crazy stuff. The problem? VADER DON'T USE SITH MAGIC AT ALL. At the time of the Empire most of said knowlege was lost, and what was left never was teached to Vader because Palpatine saw him as a broken man after Mustafar and did not believed him to be a worthy apprentice (that's why he wanted Luke to kill him in Ep. 6). Also, even trained Sith Sorcerers needed elaborated rituals involving relics, other initiates and most of all TIME to be set-up. Sadow cannot simply say "Oh, a shinobi, SUPERNOVA!" and instantly bring up such power.
Their "research" was so bad that they actually said that Vader is capable os using his own version of Force Lightining. If you're just a Naruto fan and only has a superficial (movies only) knowledge of Star Wars you would probably just accept that as truth, BUT IT IS NOT. What they are talking about here is a rare gift known as Kinetite, which is defined by wookiepedia as:
_"Kinetite was a variation on the Force lightning ability. It involved molding "Force energized lightning" into a sphere of restrained kinetic energy which could be thrown at an enemy. Instead of burning or electrocuting its target like most forms of Force lightning, it acted as a solid projectile."_
The problem? Vader used this only once, and just because he was being amped by a powerful artifact, the Kybur Crystal, and without said amp he cannot use said ability, and no other direct energy manipulation other than Tautominus (basically a super nerfed version of the Preta Path of Pain, the user can hold and deflect energy with their hands, like what he did to Han Solo's blaster shots in Cloud City). Again, in the SAME WOOKIEPEDIA PAGE AS BEFORE:
_"However, The Rise and Fall of Darth Vader offers a far different explanation, stating that it was Vader's close proximity to the Kaiburr crystal which allowed him to summon "Force energized lightning." The Jedi Path combines these two explanations by stating that Kinetite is a Force power that is created by generating a variation of Force lightning that acted as a kinetically empowered projectile. It's the type of stuff you don't bring to a debate because is, well, debatable. Once more, It feels that these guys are expecting people who knows a lot of Naruto but very little of Star Wars. Sadly to both, Star Wars has been my guilty pleasure for a while, specially after how bad of a shot It got at the hands of Disney. Anyway, the offenses don't limit themselves to the Star Wars universe. For example, they stated that Truth-Seeking orbs wouldn't work because the Force is "Spiritual Energy". Well, ALL CHAKRA ALSO HAS SPIRITUAL ENERGY, so I don't see the point. Maybe they were trying to equate Senjutsu with the Force, but even then what we see during the 4th Great Shinobi War with both Juubito and Six-Paths Madara is that Sage Mode can HELP YOU stand against the orbs but It is not a kyrptonite, Naruto and Sasuke could barely scratch them even whith both amped by Senjutsu.
I cannot also understand their Kamui argument. They imply that Vader would be so fast that Obito wouldn't be able to use Kamui to defend himself, which is crazy since he did that against Minato who, you know, TELEPORTS. Sith and Jedi can react to stuff and move faster than light, but that's still bellow INSTANTANEOUS, which is basically what Minato does woth FTG. That basically stablishes that 14 years-old Obito, who is inferior to his Rinnegan and Juubito forms, needs someone with at least teleportation to simply hit him once.
Oh, and let's not forget, OBITO IS A TANK. The same way Vader is unkillable in Star Wars, Obito is the hardest person to kill in the verse. He can survive an insane amount of time without multiple vital organs in base, while Vader needs to be enraged in legendary levels to acomplish something as simple as breathing without his suit (like when some fools tried to bury him alive, that was awesome btw). And even after you damage him, his regeneration is almost unmatched in base and godlike in Six-Paths.
In conclusion, I love Darth Vader to death, but the result here is clear. Vader is a beast, but Obito would have defeated the main character of the verse plus an army with everyone else. The only reason he lost was because Kakashi had his other eye and could counter Kamui, othewise the new anime would be "OBITO - Naruto's Infinite Dream" instead of Boruto.
