Yeah my initial thought before listening, was that this had to be low-hanging fruit, as this was already a pretty low-tuned and sludgey/doomy song. It's difficult to recognize the Soundgarden, but wow the Type O is hauntingly vivid. Love the drums too!
I saw Type O back in the late '90's and suggested this to Pete, Kenny, and Johnny when I met them after the show. Josh wasn't feeling the best and didn't hang out long. Denis, please make this happen!
Whenever I listen to your covers I always have the biggest smile, they're just so cool! It makes me so happy listening. A perfect tribute to the band's legacy. And this has to be my favourite cover you've done so far, it was already one of my favourite Soundgarden songs and you managed to make it so different and perfect in a new way! Thank you 😁
This is EXCELLENT! I also really like the bridge of this song, although the whole song is quite phenomenal. It feels like you are literally channeling Peter Steele at times, even in facial expressions, and these songs feel like a tribute of love for the music that he and his band mates created through Type O Negative. Thank you for sharing all of these with us!
You are the man ... great work again. Hope you get some money out of this beautiful artform. Take care and go on with your own band ... its also gold (or green :-)
Type o negative - моя самая любимая группа с тех пор, как я впервые услышал её. То, что ты делаешь на своём канале - очень важно для меня. Спасибо большое за всё.
This is a real treat mate, amazing. I miss Pete immensely and it's like he's talking through you from Heavens... I have never heard anyone as close to him in vocals as you. When I listen to your mashups with my eyes closed I see Pete. Thank you SO much for doing what you do, brother. Thank you.
Just awesome! This is one of your best compositions! Very deep, sometimes haunting, and the slow melodies create the perfect atmosphere with World Coming Down vibes.
This is one of my favoriite songs ever and you transformed it in such a beautiful way, this is insane You got me in tears man Your greatest work so far in my opinion Thank you for that and keep it up
My favorite band type o negative doing my favorite Soundgarden song... Oh hell yes!!! Hey man I hope you really understand how awesome this is!!! Great job!!!
Huge Type O fan here and never even knew Soundgarden had a song called 4th Of July, so this is my first time hearing this song in any form! When you released the teaser, I figured U2 did the original! 😅
The 'breakdown with vocals' is some most beastly shit I've heard in a minute. I love how it kept the spirit of the song, but it's own creature. Just found your channel and I'm hoping you upload more of these to your Spotify.
THIS 😃😁 This is the one I’ve been absolutely PINING for you to do 😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰 And it does not disappoint 🤘🏻💀 I can hear strong notes of ‘Hail and Farewell to Britain’ 🖤
This is my new favourite, that ending, KENNY!! Complex drumming, I loved it, another classic It didn’t progressively get better it was amazing the entire time
THIS sounds so good.. I don't look at my screen and swear it's TON. Thank the Universe for you Denis-TON fans are praising you and so happy for your talent. Please keep doing these..
I'm not surprised this was hard Denis. That iconic riff was already so darn heavy. I've revisited this. I was so desperate to hear this. I think I set the bat so damn high. So glad I came back to it. It's already sound gardens most type o song. But you got that layers of atmosphere. Damnit bro will you just tour the UK now!
I like how you do alot of "ALICE IN CHAINS STUFF" IM A HUGE FAN IF THAT BAND AND ALWAYS WILL BE!! I LIVE IN THE STATE OF WASHINGTON AND IM 46 YRS OLD NOW BUT WHEN I WAS 17YRS OLD MY COUSIN WOULD TAKE ME UP TO PARTIES AT JERRY CANTRELLS HOUSE UP IN LAKE ROSENGER IN MONROE, WASHINGTON, AND I GET TO SAY THAT IVE PARTIED HARD WITH CANTRELL, AND SNORTED LINES WITH LAYNE STAYLE MANY TIMES!!!! LOL!! I hope I can say that!!! But they would have kegers every weekend and I would go up there every weekend and party with all the pearl jam guys and all the Soundgarden dudes!!! It was so fuckin awesome now that I think back and figure out who they were!?! I remember the guys from smashing pumpkins and Puddle of Mudd guys!! Man, in the early to mid 90's SEATTLE HAD IT GOING ON DUDE!!! EVEN DOWN NIRVANA YOU WERENT SHIT UNLESS YOU CAME OUT OF SEATTLE DURING THAT TIME!!! REALLY COOK MEMORIES MAN THAT ONLY MYSELF GETS TO CHERISH FOREVER!!!!!
This is amazing!!! Thank you!! This clearly took some more time and attention than others you've done. I'll admit, it was strange starting out... but you worked it out and brought it all together by the end. Nice job working Kenny in there. And that ending really got me. Two of, in mine and many's opinion, the greatest and most unique bands and vocalists/lyricists/composers ever. Although SG was in the 'grunge' category, they were so much more interesting and deeper and darker than the others (AIC is close). And Type O, what can you say. Did you explore any other SG songs besides BHS as possibilities? Like Suicide is my favorite SG song, but I'm not sure it would work. Maybe Blind Dogs ("..Now.. it's Halloween.."), Mailman, Overfloater, or Tighter & Tighter.
Dennis....you killed this cover!! Its amazing how you can channel the Type O sound into these performances. The skill you have is super impressive. I can't put it into words bro.. Excellent! KILLER!
Oh man this is so cool! I've been following your Type O material for awhile. I can tell you've been studying their music. You tried new stuff on this one and it was AWESOME! Keep going!
I'm not familiar with the original song, but this is a very credible production of a, to me, typically Type O song. Thoroughly enjoyed watching this 👍☺ UK subscriber
This is so good! I haven't been able to listen to Superunknown since Chris's death even though it's my favorite album of all time. This really did the song and TON justice. Fantastic rendition.

Try giving Ty Cobb by the garden the motorhead treatment.
What if Type O Negative wrote "(I Just) Died in Your Arms" by Cutting Crew
I hope Chris and Peter are enjoying this in some place...
They're not. They're dead. You didn't hear?
@@seanmadison6360 Don't you believe in life after death? And it's not the Iron Maiden album...
I bet they'll be jamming. Imagine them doing Hunger Strike with Peter Steele singing Eddie Vedder's parts!!
Since they were great friends, would be badass to make What if Type O Negative covered Cemetery Gates by Pantera 🤘
That would be amazing!
I agree 100%! I bet the song would be eerie and sooo good. :)
@@DenisPauna please do Cemetary Gates!
This aged extremely well 🤘🏻😀
Sounds like an entirely different song. That shows how complex it is.
It is complex, I agree. It took me some time to make this 🤘
Yeah my initial thought before listening, was that this had to be low-hanging fruit, as this was already a pretty low-tuned and sludgey/doomy song. It's difficult to recognize the Soundgarden, but wow the Type O is hauntingly vivid. Love the drums too!
@@DenisPauna you fucking KILLED it 🤘🏻😃🥰🥰
Omg 4th of July is my favorite Soundgarden song and this is the icing on the cake 🤘 perfect cover 👌
It's a brilliant song, one of my favs as well! Thanks! 🤘
It’s always been my very favorite SG song too 🤘🏻😌🖤
Sounds a bit like Paradise Lost. Excellent!
Thanks! 🤘
💚🖤💚🖤 I miss Pete a TON. So many songs could’ve been great Type O covers. Great job dude.
He's still with us, he speaks through the music! 🤘
Thank you! 🤘
I've thought that too. I could have watched Pete cover a THOUSAND songs, and I would have loved it.
This is gonna be a weird one. Beds are Burning by Midnight Oil but Type 0
OMGYESPLEASE.
YES YES YES YES YES YES YES
what i like about how you did this song: it progressively gets better ;-)
Thank you so much! :))
Personally, my favorite part is the bridge/breakdown + outro
Amazing!!! How about what if type o negative wrote don’t fear the reaper by blue oyster cult?
Absolutely, will do that soon! 🤘
I love this idea !
May sound a bit like HIM then (who did this already). But no bad idea!
I saw Type O back in the late '90's and suggested this to Pete, Kenny, and Johnny when I met them after the show. Josh wasn't feeling the best and didn't hang out long. Denis, please make this happen!
*Yes! I have requested that as well. It's the perfect song for Type O style! Stay Negative \m/\m/*
Yes!! I've been waiting on this since The 4th of July!!
Yup, here it is finally 🤘
Definitely worth the wait!! Peter and Chris Cornell would be pleased.🖤💚🖤💚🖤💚
Whenever I listen to your covers I always have the biggest smile, they're just so cool! It makes me so happy listening. A perfect tribute to the band's legacy. Thank you so much, I appreciate this! 🤘😇
I think we need an "Ol' Blue Eyes" Type O cover. Pete wanted to do that one next before he passed.
How about The Man in Black? (Johnny Cash)
one of the best bands with one of the best songs by one of the best bands. Fucking Legend!
Yeaah! 🤘🤘
I like when you scream, "I heard it in the wind!"
Dude, you have outdone yourself! Better than the original and I can’t imagine Type O doing it any better. Bravo!!!
Type O was always great covering the 60's & 70's era, it be cool to hear more of that.
This is EXCELLENT! I also really like the bridge of this song, although the whole song is quite phenomenal. @@DenisPauna My pleasure, as always.

Type O Negative needs to cover some older county songs. Some old Johnny Cash, or Flowers on the Wall by the statler brothers. Or Delta Dawn.
This is a real treat mate, amazing. I miss Pete immensely and it's like he's talking through you from Heavens... I have never heard anyone as close to him in vocals as you. When I listen to your mashups with my eyes closed I see Pete. Thank you SO much for doing what you do, brother. Thank you.

🤘🏼Amazing Job Brother🤘🏼 Pete and Chris are definitely Rocking this 🤘🏼🤘🏼
4th of July may be my favorite Soundgarden tune. Thanks so much for this amazing version.
Brilliant yet again!
Maybe in the future we could see aTON version of “Mother” by Danzig..Or “Anything” by Danzig…?
Thank you so much! I'll consider 'Mother' :))

pure love
Please do type o covers like a prayer. Change the song structure a little bit I think it's all there and the both fit perfectly
Dude this is also one of my favorite Soundgarden songs. It's like you're reading my mind with some of these song choices.
Love the bridge and breakdown section in the middle! Also would be great to hear some Hank Williams in Negative 🤘
I personally like that the most! I was planning to make something with Hank for many months. I'll see what I can do!
This is probably your best one yet. So awesome
Big thanks! 🤘
i haven't heard this for weeks, and now it hit me like a fucking truck.
4th of July is my absolute favorite song, since it's also my birthday. This amazing, man. I hope your UA-cam channel grows HUGE!
Nothing in Type O is easy to (re)make. But you did it. Awesome. Very original.
Way better than the original! This song gets stuck in my head more than any other song you've done... this one gets heavy play !

Thanks for keeping Peter Steele and TON 's legacy alive .
Excellent segue, totally different song arrangement and sounds incredible.
I initially didn't check this out because of the name of the song. It didn't seem Type Oish. But WOW! This is AWESOME!
