@@cacplaysrs4013 not really.. just you. I have a few boyz in my clan wondering how to farm... and his farm video doesnt solely focus on tree runs, which is the fastest way for xp.
@@michaeltaylor9484 true... im an obby mauler almost 99 farm, POH saved me from spending bank on tele charges, energy pots... and alot of time running. Good idea bro.
Like I know about 330 and joins a friends poh, I was wondering look what are all my options and how do I best use this feature. Not just got to 330 right click portal type name.
For players without Lunar teleports, faster way for fruit trees is to tele to Ardouagne first, take a ship to Brimhaven for the first tree, then from there take a charter ship to Catherby for the 2nd fruit tree.
amazing guide! Just came back after a 7 year break of playing. I've never done any skilling unless I needed a quest done for something pking related. Really wanted to start properly playing which means skilling too. I've watched and read so many of your guides to get started and I would be lost without them. Thanks alot!
Writing down the full tree run for my reference (this is a super lazy guide where you teleport everywhere): - Start with all trees/gold/fruits/shovel: 6 normal, 6 fruit, 3 hardwood, 1 of all others - Varrock tele > Varrock castle tree - home tele > tree gnome stronghold > 2 trees > tree gnome village > follow out > 1 tree - home tele > falador park jewlery box > 1 tree - home tele > catherby tele > 1 tree - home tele > digsite pendant > 3 trees - home tele > farming guild jewlery box > 3 trees (4 if spirit, use pie to boost) - WITHDRAW MORE TELEPORTS - teleport crytal prif > 1 tree - teleport crystal lletya > 1 tree - lumby tele > 1 tree - brimhaven house tele > 1 tree - taverly house tele > 1 tree - tai bwo wani tele > 1 tree
I always really appreciate the amount of effort you put into your videos mate. Farming is by far my favorite skill and I somehow never realized that you have to complete jungle potion to actually protect that patch. Just assumed it was an automatic thing.
9:54 If you have planted a spirit tree in the farming guild you can teleport there from a spirit tree in your house or from Gnome Stronghold or GE as well.
Thank you for this! Been needing to get my rear in gear to get farming. My first time around osrs when I was young I was all about making money through combat. Now I’m all about the skill and chill on my new main.
Yo, nice video man, I don’t get to play that much since I’m a doctor, but watching your videos help to get a little money and xp, keep up the good work !
Been grinding farming since watching your farm guide 2 months ago. (Got 55-94 since end of feb) and while watchin this video last night, my last tree , Mahogany leveled me up to 94 and dropped the Pet! Let my wife pick the pet skin this morning, as I thought, she picked white lily 😂😎 Thanks Theo!
Alternative Normal Tree Run Route - Start at G.E. 1st patch in front of varrock castle. 2. Run back to G.e. - Spirit tree to tree gnome stronghold to 2nd patch - then Lumbridge tablet and 3rd patch is behind castle outside the wall. Falador tablet or Ring of Wealth to Falador Park to 4th patch. Exit city RUN NORTTH to Traverly. to 5th patch. If able, skills necklace over to 6th final patch at Farming Guild. hope this helps
I generally only protect fruit trees and hardwood trees. I just ultracompost anything else like herbs, flowers, hops, and regular trees. They grow often enough that I don’t care if they die, but fruits take almost a day and hardwoods take 3-4 days
Guys, as someone who today hit 92 farming and is pushing for 99 farming, you should absolutely ALSO do herb/hop runs in addition to the tree runs You can do herb/hops every 90 mins, they make huge amounts of money and get like 15-20k xp a run. I do torstol (85 farm) and yanillan hops. You use the yanillan hops for mahogany tree payments. I currently make about 1m profit a day and get easily 200k xp a day
Just a side point for this: You can quest your farming up instead. Fairytale Pt.1 instantly gives you 17 farming as well as access to fairy rings. You can then do Forgettable tale of a Drunken Dwarf which has a 17 farming requirement. That in turn will put you at 25 farming for Garden of Tranquillity which puts you at 30 for Enlightened Journey. All in all this will take you to 32 farming without needing to even touch the skill, where you can start growing Willow Trees and completely skip needing to do Oaks and is a much faster process
Its much faster to not do any of this except Fairy Tale I, and part of 2 to get Fairy rings. Getting to 30 farming from 17 takes like 1 day if you do a few herb+allotment runs in addition to trees.
@@Shajirr_ Can always do fairytale, do an oak run and then while waiting for them do the rest of the quests if you feel that the oaks will grow in the time it takes to do the rest of them.
When going from Tree Gnome Stronghold tree patch to Taverly tree patch, I always take one normal log to use the hot air balloon for fast travel. It drops you more or less next to the patch, although it requires Enlightened Journey quest completed.
Got 99 farming pretty much from fruit trees (papayas) and herb runs. Don't know if I did hardwood trees before 99 or if I had it when they came out, but I'm pretty sure the only regular trees I ever grew were from farming contracts/quests/diaries. Took awhile, but now I'm at 57.6m xp.
If you wanna go full sweaty, just plant your highest lvl tree/fruit tree. Then grind the tithe farm. Literally went up 20 lvls in a few hours. Sucks but its legit the fastest once you get the hang of it
also theo neglected to mention much to my dismay as i just found out, you actually need 60% hosidious favour to even gain entry into the farming guild in the first place! dont be disappointed or let theo fool you!
@@salt-emoji So glad they got rid of that and I'm the completionist type. Also, this guide is missing quite a bit of patches I think XD It's shame because it's so well formatted Edit: It's only missing the Hardwood patch from the new Varlamore quest
Fairy Tale Part 1 (if you arent a skiller) is probably a better way to go than doing hosi house. Gives 17 farming, so no boosts, Access to lost city, and Fairy tale part 2 gives access to fairy rings.
I would add do your farm runs on a house party world and just use someones PoH for teles. Saves a bit of money and adds convenience. If your account is able to use them of course.
Things I learned, despite having done tons of farming runs: -You can pay the farmer to chop down the tree for you -Tool Leprechaun Will note the fruit you pick off your tree
Yeah, I had no idea you could get the farmer to chop the tree down for you lol. I've been spending a ton of time trying to get 75 W.C. just so I could clear magic patches
Really good video and alot of useful information, i believe in 2010 the tree run was around 130k xp per 15 minutes, I was kind of curious to your runs now. How much xp how long and how much gp/xp
Not the best but I like my set up normal I start varrock, tele to lumbridge, tele to falador park, hot air to taverley or run then slayer ring to stronghold and if your doing fruit trees run to bank stock up run to patch in stronghold, take tree to village, then tele to catherby, redirect or run for final patch and save guild for last. Try it out let me know I think its smooth and don't carry tree extra weight when combining.

I love the background music... what is it?
You can't enter the left side of the farming guild until 65. So you can't do that patch until much later.
What can you do with spare spirit seeds?
Dig up your already planted spirit trees then replant them for more XP
You can give them to guild master at farming guild for tier 5 seed pack worth around 100k
