I'm considering getting the JBL 306p, Adam T7V, or the Yamaha HS8. After comparing these monitors over on Digital Stereophony's channel, the JBL 306p sounds closest to the original mix of the demo tracks. My only hesitation is that it's only 6". If I were to get the JBL 306p's would I also need to get an external woofer for low end mixing? Also how did the Adam T7V's compare for you? Is the ear fatigue better with the ribbon tweeter?
Hey, thanks for the review! Could I somehow connect these to my focusrite scarlett solo, or should I upgrade my audio interface before buying these? Currently I only have RCA output on this one.
StringGene I didn't find them harsh at all but everyone has different hearing that's why there is no end all be all monitors .. what works for me may sound like crap to you ,so at the end if the day you have to trust your ears and go with what works best for you.. thanks for watching and the input
@@DMHProductionsStudio Maybe harsh is not the right word. They definitely are essy:) they exaggerate about 8-10k hz:) compared to flat response, compared to the JBL, which sound far more natural... to me of course:)
StringGene yeah the JBL monitors are great however I have upgraded to a set of Kali audio lp6's and a set of Adam a7x and man do the Kali's blow the jbl's away and the Adam a7x is just on another level ... but for $1500 a pair for the Adams one would expect no less and they truly deliver... the Kali's are the best monitor I've ever heard for under $1000 ... check them out you can get a pair for $400 or so

I would look at the kali audio lp6 I run those now along with adam a7x. They are far superior to the jbl
@@DMHProductionsStudio Okay cool, I'll look into the Kali

Krisztián Mohai you should be able to connect to the solo via RCA to xlr or trs
Krisztián Mohai I would get on focusrite and see what it says about the RCA connectors if they are balanced or unbalanced
Just picked these up coming from M-Audio BX-5a
So what do you think of the 306 vs the t7v ?? I’m debating between these to models
Steven Saravia they are amazing they have a great low end and the mids sound good and the highs are clear and crisp
Steven Saravia I would recommend these to anyone looking to get monitors in the under$1,000 range
D.M.H. Productions Studio thank you very much
Steven Saravia thank you sir and if you haven't yet subscribed please do so and thanks again for the support
D.M.H. Productions Studio done hehe
The ribbon tweeters in the Adam are harsh.
