Love all your videos and look forward to them every week. I'm a first time horse owner... I've wanted a horse my whole life and I finally got one at 47 yrs old. Lol thanks for your easy to understand videos. They help me and my rescue horse Bailey a lot.
There’s a horse named Olaf at the stables I work and board at, and every time I’m in a lesson with other horses that he (Olaf) knows you'll just hear him neighing. Once Olaf was being tacked up nested to his buddy, Rainman he would not stop making neighing or winning, we took him out of the cross ties to show him Rainman was there and he was like “U h, that wasn’t me..”
Hi there! I have two horse who i stable at home. They live out together permanently and are quite happe when they are together. But i have a problem because whenever i take the one out the other will start freaking out because then he is alone. So unlike the separatian anxiety you mentioned in the video, the problem is not about trust, its about being alone. I was wondering if you had any tips for that? Maybe you could make a video about how to deal with separatian anxiety? Also i love your videos, they are very easy to understand😀😀😀
I hope she has something helpful to suggest or does make a video. Until you have a training solution, you can create a standing stall next to where you ride and put the lone horse there so they can see their friend. Of course that's not helpful if you trailer away or go on a trail ride... A 3rd horse is an obvious work around, but that's more $ and time intensive, unless it's a field boarder (which can create other complications).
Hey mate , Hi from Australia Ive been watching your videos for over a year now I had a situation a few weeks ago of where i was walking my gelding around the farm . A new mare had just moved in and was whinnying and crying out to my gelding , my gelding started calling out to her and crying.. I tried to get his attention back to me , moving his feet back to me , he wouldn’t calm down and ended up bolting on me and all over the farm I couldnt hold him back ( i had a fall of where he spooked and have 4 broken ribs ) is there anything else that i could’ve done ? Love love the kong equine toy
My opinion is the horses should be introduced to one another before you tried to ride him, you can never stop the call of nature, once they had worked out who's higher and who's lower he will settle down and life will go on as normal, remember, thats my opinion only, ¶|-)>
I’m not quite sure what to do, I moved my pony to a new barn and she is walking in circles in her stall, snorting loudly and banging on the door. She is never usually like this and has traveled to new barns perfectly before, I’m not quite sure how to calm her down. Is it time, or do I have to do something about it?
There are no "wild horses". They are either horses that escaped and bred or lost. The only true wild horse is the prezawalski horse (hope I spelled that right). But yes, they do have prey instincts
I wish all horseys had such a caring owner!

I noticed he still wants to keep an eye on the window, even five months after starting this. I wonder if he'll always do that.
