I ADORE the Go Off Delta segment. The Enthusiasm, extensive vernacular and Logical opinions keep me coming back. The amount of enjoyment I get out of this show, really makes my life so much better
I discovered her this past week and am just listening while doing anything and everything! She's so comforting while also being such a keen observer of life
I worked at McDonald’s as a manager, senior manager, and regular employee, and in more than one country. The ice cream machine is NEVER broken. It’s either 1) Being cleaned (and people usually take ages to clean it) or 2) It has to be cleaned but no one got the time to do it yet. I know, it’s insane and it sucks, but it being “broken” 24/7 and every day, that’s just straight up laziness and they don’t want to clean it. Anyways, love you Delta ❤
Were on episode 89 and people in the comments are still telling Delta she's not allowed to complain about fast food service.....What part of "Fry the small fish" isn't making sense ?.
This was a classic very delta episode for the ages and Naysha was a phenomenal guest and looks beautiful as always. I can’t WAIT to hear Delta go off about the situation with the fries at McDonald’s. I’ve been waiting for her to address it actually
In the times that I’ve forgot to ask for ketchup, drive away, and then look in the bag and they already put some in --I feel I’ve been touched by an angel 👼 👼 🪽
Love u Delta but as a drive thru worker, we are almost never annoyed with customers, it’s mostly when we have our managers breathing down our backs to make sure cars are only waiting for 30 seconds or under at the window, so that’s why those interactions often feel so rushed. If we weren’t being rushed by management it would be so much nicer
It’s always service workers taking the blame. Delta has often pointed out similar things on other rants, that it’s not all on the person in the front lines, so I know her heart is in the right place
People can be friendly in a rush, I'm tired of this narrative. A smile and respectful tone of voice takes .5 seconds to muster up. Everyone now wants to actively hate their job and therefore hate the consumer, yet act like ratchet customers on the other end and whine "i'm in customer service too!!!" it's created a miserable, neverending circle.
@@jlokeepinitreal it is a way more nuanced discussion than a bunch of YT comments would allow for, "A smile and respectful tone of voice takes .5 seconds to muster up." is too simplistic of a conclusion or advice, smiling and sounding cheerful or respectful no matter what's in your mind or the pressures around you is emotional labor. Are people able to smile at all times, across all situations in life, in promptu?
The go off delta intro- fantastic. I laughed my ass off. I literally ask this way to request ketchup- "I need a handful. Like whatever you think would be a disgusting amount to put in your hand- I want that". They give side-eye. But they do it. So I have extra for the next time I go and forget to ask- when they give me that two packet bs- I'm covered.
I cannot believe...I JUST had this same conversation this morning with my sister , I had asked her if she had been to our local BK lately , and we got INTO it !!!!..SAME COMPLAINTS !! ARE THE PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE MAKING THE SAUCES ??!?!..spot on with this one , spot on.
The way I, a 42 year old mother of two, perform the opening of this podcast every week like i am Lip syncing for My LIFE! Also, i always substitute salted butter in my box cake mixes 😭
the mcdonald’s sauce talk is sooo REAL!! too many times have i been sent to parking spot #2 and specifically asked for ketchup… waited at my spot. just for my sauce to be missing. and now i have to get out of my car, enter the restaurant and ask for sauce once again. it’s very aggravating! Now if they send me to the parking spot to wait for my food, i refuse to leave the window without my sauce. I get all the side eyes but i dont care!! I WANT MY SAUCE 😂
People who don’t love Naysha aren’t really doing anything with their life. Are only good for commenting online. They wouldn’t be able to do what she does, put their life out there like most of these entertainers do. They don’t understand that Rupaul’s Drag Race is a tv show and that these drag entertainers actually have a life outside. They have a family and friends and a support group. I love Naysha, she has worked hard for her things. Miss Continental. ❤
Naysha tells it how it is. Something most in the industry are afraid to do so. And for that the fans seem to dislike her when all she does is entertain and give insider scoops all while having fun with it. Their Roscoes comment section is usually full of people complaining about something but those are the worst of the Drag Race fans.
Now I know Delta is correct about the sauces, because they started doing that here in the UK too. Now they charge for them! We don't get free sauces as standard, you have to order extra.
I LOVE Very Delta & I love watching Naysha at Roscoe’s but I feel like in another universe, these two have a very successful podcast together ♥️♥️♥️ Great episode 💞
Definitely a cross on the mosquito bite doer here. It was so funny to hear someome else does that, and from P.R. too. I wonder if it's a Puerto Rican/Latin thing? I feel like it comes from a religious thing. At least that's how my grandma taught it to me. Who else here does that too?
I would watch a 10 part series in which Delta, in full drag, visits drive-thru, fast-food restaurants, and then rates her meal/ordering experience whilst parked up in the carpark after her meal. 🤣
Yes Delta! All I want is clear direction on how to get my sauces!! They need to be honest and they need to be held accountable 👏🏽 I deal with those so much 😂
Thank you for speaking up about sauces, Delta. I only go to McDonalds once in a blue moon and when I do all I want is hot and spicy mustard and fries and I’m happy to pay for the sauces. I hate being made to feel less than when I take a moment to search the bag and more often than not the sauces aren’t in there! No big deal but what is a big deal is when they give attitude when I politely ask for my beloved hot and spicy mustard
delta i am 100% with you on drive thrus. i don’t blame the workers, most of the time they’re just doing what they’re told. i just think it’s a symptom of corporate greed, as in “you have to give me, a multinational corporation, everything i demand but i don’t have to give you everything you paid for” mentality. it needs to change! down with greed!
Re, mosquitoes. They love me, too. I wear those body nets plus use citronella bug spray. Just cover yourself!! If outside, turn on a floor fan and aim at your ankle area because those skeeters go for the ankles according to research and personal experience!
Hey, I have a technical recommendation: they should put a shock mount in Delta's mic. It looks like a weird spiderweb and it's installed at the end of the boom arm of the microphone (so the mic would be connected to the shock mount and not directly to the arm). The point of a shock mount is that it lessens (or completely eliminates) the sound produced when you move the mic, or you accidentally hit or bump towards the arm or like Delta did (swaping her hands in the desk and you can hear it)
I used to work at McDonald's as a manager for like 6 years, and yes I have trauma 😂 from it. When the sechwan sauce came back for the rick and morty show, our store didn't receive any. We had people ask if we were hiding it in the back to sell on the internet. It's like, no I would definitely give you some if we had it. Anyway it did become an issue that I had to "coach" people about being more polite and actually give the customer what they asked for and have them leave happy. Our store was about treating the customers as our "guests" and be accomidating, like we were required to call out "Guest number blah blah blah" when we handed out their order. Like it got to a point we had casheers that became wonderful cooks bc we Could Not have them interact with customers bc they couldn't be polite. I was all sugar and smiles, as a manager you have to turn it on like a waitress would bc u better be getting good reviews. When it came to inventory we did have to count every single packet of everything so that wasnt fun. That was over 10 years ago, I have seen the ascetic change to look more upscale but their requirements for customer interaction has dropped off a cliff. I also think that the work ethic that was taught to me isn't taught to the newer people. Like I was taught to leave your bullshit at the door. You work hard and you make sure you complete your tasks and make sure the place is clean like spotless new and ready for the next person to walk in and have nothing to do. Like I feel like u should stay busy and always be doing something to make things better. I don't see that anymore, like it's vanished from most food service places. Also love you, love miss Lopez, love all you both do🎉🎉🎉
The food cost at a restaurant isn’t really affected by the condiment packets. The condiments get paid for by the up sold price of the entrée. Poor Customer Service is all that condiment stinginess is.
You want me to throw neck for ketchup?? LMAO
its going to be my come back for EVERYTHING.
I'm wheezing
Love when Delta goes off
It took EVERYTHING in me not to scream and shout at work when she started talking about this. Throwing neck for condiments is Very Delta.
12:36
Will never stop saying “ you want me to throw neck for ketchup”😭
I pressed play, walked away while she was talking about sauce, forgot about it, came back 10 minutes late and she’s still talking about sauces.
welcome, we fry the small fish here😂
LMFAOO and this is why i tune in! I Cant get that anywhere else ! I get my fix here 🤪😂😂

At this point we need a designated fast food segment 😂
fast food segments for different locations.. it'd be wonderful
a fast food segment or just a food section would be great 💀

"You're exacerbating your problems. Did you exacerbate today?" I... AM... CACKLING🤣🤣🤮🤮🤣🤣🤣
3:10 is the throw neck for ketchup bit hahaha
Running sauce and shutting holes, Delta for President.
Today I realised I'm very Delta! The sauce thing at Maccy D's is exactly what I've been going through these past weeks. Never felt so seen before...
@@VladdyDaddy1234 Mickey d but I get u 😚😚🔥🔥🥓
RUN ME MY KETCHUP!!!! Yes I also get so annoyed at drive through windows when they forgot my sauce. 🙌🏾🙌🏽🙌🏾
top notch rant. my core aches from laughing. thank, delta. thank you. ❤
i love that the drive thru workers are coming to tell their story
girl the moving parts in a drive thru compared to just working in a regular indoor restaurant?? like woah girl it’ll getchya good

The sauce thing is one of the reasons I'm currently boycotting McDonald's, they regularly forget half my order
I'm sorry but I ain't paying companies that are making record profits for sauce that has been free my whole life lol.

Yes Naysha! I've been doing the cross on bug bites since the 90s!
