Its definitely a dupe. I have been wearing BTS religiously since around 2013 and decided to try this last week. I absolutely love it and will continue to buy it as long as its offered. Same benefits as BTS, but the formula is definitely less crumbly and more "wet".

I already have this mascara, Ulta has been selling it online for a couple weeks now. It is ah-maz-ing. It's not the most waterproof thing in the world, but it's absolutely stunning. No flaking, no clumping, except same amazing brush and just the most perfect formula I have ever seen in a drugstore mascara. This mascara literally made me stop using my Rollerlash and Better Than Sex mascaras. Stunning product!

Katie M I didn't get the waterproof version, so I'll be honest and say that it did smudge just a tad. My eyes are super sensitive though and my allergies get pretty bad during this time of year, so my eyes tend to water quite a bit. It's not significant enough though for me to say that I don't love this mascara, because it is seriously wonderful!
I would say this mascara is definitely a dupe for the too faced better than sex mascara it feels just as soft and gives the same lengthening and volume as the too faced mascara the only thing for me is it is hard to layer multiple coats, other than that it's absolutely amazing and totally recommend this!!!!
Ariana Orlando my better than sex experience was awful, sure lashes are beautiful, but it smudges and flakes like crazy. .tried Waterproof as well... so it really didn't work out on me. just bought loreal false lashes superstar fiber because brush was very similar and it's working out for me. I wonder if this paradise lash is any different. I have only a tiny bit of smudge in the end of the day with fiber lash. I don't even use fiber side. uf, now the thing is I don't know if this will come to Europe. need someone to compare all them three :)

I just purchased the L'Oréal one and being someone who used TF better than sex I can tell you that the L'Oréal one is 1000 times better it's actually insane. It's so much more voluminous and my lashes hold to it so much better. The tf one can be flaky, and doesn't last long on my lashes, like at the end of the day my lashes will fall. But with this one it will last like that all day long. It's amazing and definitely my new go to!

Alex Carrillo I personally haven't tried the waterproof version of this mascara... but I wanted to let you know I also have SUPER watery eyes and I use the Ulta Rain Coat mascara over any mascara that I use and it seriously helps so much and prevents any smudging or anything like that! I love telling people about it because I definitely know the watery eye struggle haha!
Yes! I haven't tried the Ulta version but Bare Minerals makes one called "Locked and Coated". I never get smudging anymore and I have kind of watery, squinty eyes, everything transferred and smudged. Now I can wear any mascara I like. I will be trying the Rain Coat next because it is getting harder to find the Bare Minerals one, so it is good to see it getting a thumbs up!
+Tati How do you feel about James doing a favorites video concerning the makeup you wear? Maybe a high end faves, a drug store faves, and possibly an all around favorite look that you've done? I think it would be interesting to hear his opinions, his likes and dislikes about the way he sees different products work. This is trying to be the better than sex mascara but I absolutely hate that mascara. It transfers on the lid, flakes everywhere, and will NOT hold a curl what so ever 😐 I really wanna try this one though!
Tati!! You gotta try the rodan and fields lash boost for an omg Tuesday. It takes about two months but it grows lashes so amazingly well! Everyone thinks I wear false lashes, but they're my natural ones. Must try product
I have used this product since Christmas and it works amazing!! I had about the same length lashes as tati now does but now they are double in size! I get questions everyday about my lashes and if they are false! I definitely recommend it but it is a bit pricey.

It's ok. I wouldn't compare the formula at all. Once it dries on your lashes it looks nothing like the Too Faced one. Freshly applied yes it does, but dried down it does not. Doesnt smudge or flake. Companies have quickly figured out that if the packaging looks like a cult favorite we will buy it. $$$

Always avoided getting Two Faced's BTS bc its messy, clumpy, and flaky. Plus I also do not support Too Faced anymore. I'm gonna need to get this mascara at some point!
Candace Courtorielle plus I don't know if you look into Too Faced's makeup brand as much, but they typically sell the same palette over and over again 😂 like almost the same shades. I saw a picture somewhere on Twitter. If you want to see comparisons you should look it up! Quite interesting
personally i loved too faced. i have long thick straight lashes and they never stay up but the BTS mascara was my holy grail!! i still use the bts mascara brush for my other mascaras bc it helps separate my lashes. i guess some things don't work the same for everyone :/ sucks u had such a bad experience u had with it

So I go to Target 🎯 & couldn't find it at first but rounded the aisle & 😳 there was an entire display! Let me tell you, I have tried sooo many mascaras & have a large graveyard of tubes that live on my vanity. I've FINALLY found mascara heaven. My invisible lashes are now plush, lush, long & thick. This is the absolute best brush I've ever used! Thank you Tati for this life-changing find!!!
When you do Mascara reviews can you tell us how they clean off at the end of the day? I will stop wearing a mascara if I have to work really hard to remove it. I currently wear the Cover Girl Professional All-In-One (I have used it for years! I don't know why no one talks about this mascara.) and it just washes off with my regular cleanser and doesn't leave giant black smudges around my eye. I rarely have to use an eye makeup remover to get it all off.
Brandon N Jaynie sometimes you just need a great makeup remover :) I used to struggle removing certain mascaras too, but I use the tatcha cleansing oil, and it completely changed my makeup removing skills :)
PinkKoalas I only like to use them when I can't get my eye makeup off and my CeraVe cleanser isn't doing the job. I'm using retin-a and its sensitive around my eye area so I avoid using other products if possible. One of the reasons I love my CG mascara. My lashes look awesome and it comes off easy. I have long eyelashes already so I just want something that doesn't smudge or flake and is easy to take off.
This mascara comes off like a dream if you get the regular one, I have worn it yesterday and today and it doesn't make you tug on your lashes at all! Xoxo
Brandon N Jaynie try a tubing mascara, they come rght off with water, ive used blinc the original tubung mascara and recently I bought a clique tubing mascara. it holds up well in heat because it dries to a solid and doesnt smudge and comes off with just warm water

I have really watery eyes, sometimes waterproof still smudges one me. Do you think this will work in regards to it giving me the same look as Tati AND it being waterproof? Your help is greatly appreciated.
Alex Carrillo I personally haven't tried the waterproof version of this mascara... but I wanted to let you know I also have SUPER watery eyes and I use the Ulta Rain Coat mascara over any mascara that I use and it seriously helps so much and prevents any smudging or anything like that! I love telling people about it because I definitely know the watery eye struggle haha!

I haven't tried the Ulta version but Bare Minerals makes one called "Locked and Coated". I never get smudging anymore and I have kind of watery, squinty eyes, everything transferred and smudged. Now I can wear any mascara I like. I will be trying the Rain Coat next because it is getting harder to find the Bare Minerals one, so it is good to see it getting a thumbs up!

This is trying to be the better than sex mascara but I absolutely hate that mascara. It transfers on the lid, flakes everywhere, and will NOT hold a curl what so ever 😐 I really wanna try this one though!

Tati!! You gotta try the rodan and fields lash boost for an omg Tuesday. It takes about two months but it grows lashes so amazingly well! Everyone thinks I wear false lashes, but they're my natural ones. Must try product

I have used this product since Christmas and it works amazing!! I had about the same length lashes as tati now does but now they are double in size! I get questions everyday about my lashes and if they are false! I definitely recommend it but it is a bit pricey.

It's ok. I wouldn't compare the formula at all. Once it dries on your lashes it looks nothing like the Too Faced one. Freshly applied yes it does, but dried down it does not. Doesnt smudge or flake. Companies have quickly figured out that if the packaging looks like a cult favorite we will buy it. $$$

Always avoided getting Two Faced's BTS bc its messy, clumpy, and flaky. Plus I also do not support Too Faced anymore. I'm gonna need to get this mascara at some point!

personally i loved too faced. i have long thick straight lashes and they never stay up but the BTS mascara was my holy grail!! i still use the bts mascara brush for my other mascaras bc it helps separate my lashes. i guess some things don't work the same for everyone :/ sucks u had such a bad experience u had with it

I tend to close my eyes and coat both top and bottom once covered I open my eyes and coat the inside lashes I find this helps hold the curl for me and makes them look so much nice then do when I just apply to the inside lashes. Hope this helps.

So I go to Target 🎯 & couldn't find it at first but rounded the aisle & 😳 there was an entire display! Let me tell you, I have tried sooo many mascaras & have a large graveyard of tubes that live on my vanity. I've FINALLY found mascara heaven. My invisible lashes are now plush, lush, long & thick. This is the absolute best brush I've ever used! Thank you Tati for this life-changing find!!!
When you do Mascara reviews can you tell us how they clean off at the end of the day? I will stop wearing a mascara if I have to work really hard to remove it. I currently wear the Cover Girl Professional All-In-One (I have used it for years! I don't know why no one talks about this mascara.) and it just washes off with my regular cleanser and doesn't leave giant black smudges around my eye. I rarely have to use an eye makeup remover to get it all off.
Brandon N Jaynie sometimes you just need a great makeup remover :) I used to struggle removing certain mascaras too, but I use the tatcha cleansing oil, and it completely changed my makeup removing skills :)
PinkKoalas I only like to use them when I can't get my eye makeup off and my CeraVe cleanser isn't doing the job. I'm using retin-a and its sensitive around my eye area so I avoid using other products if possible. One of the reasons I love my CG mascara. My lashes look awesome and it comes off easy. I have long eyelashes already so I just want something that doesn't smudge or flake and is easy to take off.

Brandon N Jaynie try a tubing mascara, they come rght off with water, ive used blinc the original tubung mascara and recently I bought a clique tubing mascara. it holds up well in heat because it dries to a solid and doesnt smudge and comes off with just warm water

I don't understand all the bash on two faced BTS. Just because you don't support a brand, doesn't mean the product isn't good. I have used BTS for a year now and I absolutely love it.
