Thank you so much for uploading this gem . I had just arrived in Australia as a 6 year old and and can remember sitting down after dinner to watch this . I have never forgotten the music at the start . I can't wait to watch more of these awesome Australian classics of my youth .
Before my parents decided to migrate to Australia, I used to watch Skippy... When we arrived in Australia I would watch Matlock Police, Division 4 and Homicide.... Then Paul Cronin went on to also star in Solo One, which I also used to watch. It is great to watch these old shows once again. Thank you for the upload.
Don't think I have ever seen this in colour. When it was on TV, our set at the time was black and white. Ms Falconer is Sheila Lawrence (May Swasey in Mad Max, Lizzie Birdsworth in Prisoner), the first biker close-up is Ken Shorter, from the movie Stone, which has half the cast of Mad Max in it. Ms Falconer's Humber, I'm fairly certain is driving on Whitehorse Rd, Box Hill, near Station St. Paul Cronin (Gary Meadows) is riding a BSA Gold Star. I bet he was happy to trade the kick-start for the Honda CB750 in later episodes. He had his own spin-off show: Solo One.
where did you get a gold star from...you dont know bikes....its a kawasaki w2ss...i had one.....plus...i worked at pratts bikes in lizzy street in 1971...and sat on pauls bmw when it came in with an elecrical fault
Sgt Kennedy reminds me of a subdued Australian version of Sgt Blaketon in "Heartbeat". I remember seeing Michael Pate's son in an Australian movie made many years ago in rural Victoria, forget the name. Those are "Claytons" bikies, just blow ins from Melbourne. Love that Humber Super Snipe, keep it polished Miss Falconer! Homicide, Division-4 and Matlock Police, all compulsory viewing in our house when I was a boy, when the show finished it was off to bed! Thanks Roy the memories...
Love the colourisation. So many of the Matlocks Homicides and Div 4's are in black and white. I would love to actually see what full color actually looked like.
Not perfect..however it's a great start and gives an idea of what the early episodes may have looked like in Colour....Try doing the 'Robbery' episode or 'Violent Thursday'...
Crawford Productions sells the DVDs and while people are still buying those, full episodes will never appear here, same with Homicide, Division 4, Solo One etc.
True but real people like her can't escape the past - and - 1 pound 15 shillings equals the converted amount of 350 ($3-50) as the laborer stated. (Ooops, showing my age, there!).
Loved watching Matlock police, introduction always gave me a warm feeling growing up in 70’s

Sheila Florence
You're probably thinking of the Honda Gold wing and his name was Gary Hogan, Gary Meadows hosted ' The price is right' in the 70s.
You’re not looking it it in colour now. It’s been (very badly) colourised.
Thank you for this l grew up on this thanks again😊
That music takes me straight back to my childhood! Thanks for uploading! Anymore episodes?
This is so great, it's hard to know if it's Bargearse or not.
The Pissweak kids as the bikie gang.
That 1970s green screen!

Thanks for tge upload... really takes me back to better days
All Crawfords Productions could be remade today no worries because the Scripts were so well written. No Crawfords no Aussie TV. Thanks Roy.
Hi, could you please add the rest of this episode? I love how you have added the colour.Well done😁

Such language from the Senior Sergeant.
OMGawd .. Honda 4 & Holden Monaro
All of the Matlock series are available to buy from Crawfords DVD. As are a great many other Aussie classics.
Until you see the prices on some series
Still remember pretending I rode a Honda 750 on my dragstar.😅
Can.t you play the whole show
The name of the opening theme music is called "Industry on the Move".
Not perfect..however it's a great start and gives an idea of what the early episodes may have looked like in Colour....Try doing the 'Robbery' episode or 'Violent Thursday'...
Birdsworth!
think I preferred her once she found the grog
I don’t know why they don’t upload these online
Crawford Productions sells the DVDs and while people are still buying those, full episodes will never appear here, same with Homicide, Division 4, Solo One etc.
Thats Ken Shoter in the beginning 4 years before riding again in Stone
Lizzie Birdsworth. LOL
How the hell did you turn this into colour?
The young boy who took the chips looks plastic in the close up 😂
Best left in black & white it looks too cartoonish looks like a playstation simulation the credits opening sequence in the Holden Belmont's
I prefer it in Black and White it adds the dimension of time
Odd that she paid him in pounds when this was in decimal currency times
True but real people like her can't escape the past - and - 1 pound 15 shillings equals the converted amount of 350 ($3-50) as the laborer stated. (Ooops, showing my age, there!).
Surprised they used words like bitch & bloody on TV in 1971.
Lizzie Birdsworth
🤣 Make UP 2023 😂 James Charles Best Make Up Queen 🏳🌈
Terrible colourisation!
