Great to see the Dog back! Interesting choice a lens originally built for crop sensor at 40 mm 3:22, stunning what an attractive bridge! 05:03 fabulous portrait, well set against the tree and a wonderful sky 05:31 very well composed! nice! Great Video, thanks for sharing
Thanks Tony. We're still on holiday at the moment, so haven't seen Otis for nearly 2 weeks now. Having a great time, but looking forward to getting back to him too! Thanks for checking out the video and the kind comments. 😊
Great video Robert. Looks like a great lens for travel, especially for the reasons you mentioned: street photography and especially for taking images of the tall buildings. Can't wait to see what you come up with there in California! Hope you are having a wonderful holiday here in the Colonies. Take care!
Thanks Paul - in Monterey at the moment and having a great time. I used the 28mm quite a lot in SF and really enjoyed using it. Almost like carrying a compact camera when it's on the Z7 body. Hope all is good over there. Thanks for watching mate. 😊
Took your advice on the 35mm prime and worked really well in Manchester - I’m sure the 28mm will be fab in Down town San Francisco! The inconspicuous nature is a real plus and will be a great addition to the lens arsenal on the streets 👍🏻 Talking of VR I forgot to utilise it on my trip 🤦🏻♂️ but lesson learned ! Take care and look forward to the SF trip !
Nice one Andrew - looking forward to seeing your Manchester images too. I sometimes forget to put VR on too when going from tripod to handheld. They should but a sensor in the tripod mount screw hole! Thanks for checking out the video - SF was great and just got to the coast again after visiting the national parks. Too many amazing photo ops! 😊
Looks like a handy little lens - the front element looks tiny but it works really well, nice shots. Like everyone else I'm looking forward to the California vlogs.
Yeah, seemed to do the job Andrew. I really enjoyed having it on the Z7 - felt almost like using a compact. Going to start editing my holiday shots today - might take a while! 😁
Haha, I knew very little about American Football before buying the hat (I just liked the colour!). After wearing it to California, I learned quite a bit! 😂
@@eheinz6 In this video I'm using a Sony ZV-1 with Rode Wireless Go receivers and Lavalier Mic. I have a cheap dead cat on the mic which I got from Amazon. Glad it sounded clear. 😊

Look forward to seeing some of those street photography shots from across the pond mate. Hope you're having a great holiday mate
Very much so Dave. I'm going to be editing for weeks when I get home! 😂 Thanks for checking the vid out mate. 😊

nice review, looks like a nice lens to have for travel/landscape
Thanks - seems to be doing a great job so far. Thanks for watching. 😊

good job , thanks
Many thanks for watching. 😊

Sir can I use this lens on weeding group protrait shot ?
It wouldn't generally be regarded as a portrait lens, but there's nothing to stop you giving it a go. Might be okay for group shots.
Check your gear... 35mm 1.8 DX for reflex has got a metal mount.
Well spotted. I was thinking of the 70-300mm DX but got mixed up thinking about primes. Thanks for watching. 😊
Go Eagles from Over Yonder!!!??

What are you using for audio?
If you mean the music, I make it.
@@Robert-Bishop sorry I meant microphone. I noticed you talking outside and it appeared to be quite windy but your voice sounded very clear.
