I use Shadow Ball in the vast majority of situations. Thunder is only really used against normal types (mainly Vigoroth and the occasional Munchlax) and dark types (mainly Umbreon since even Shiftry and Scrafty can't handle a Shadow Ball well).

Was running meganium toxicroak bastiodon to okay effect. Been floating around the 2200s most of great league. Hopefully I can close out rank 10 in master!

I’ve been using a team on the ultra league with armored mewtwo as a lead and altered giratina and registeel. I include registeel as a counter to giratina and the fairies, but today that ancient power is not gonna be used and shadow sneak it’s gonna be being used a lot more, regísteel loses the match, what would you adviced me to do? Replace giratina with a fairy maybe? Have a clefable and a togekiss high ranked. Thank you for your input!!
I personally like running Togekiss or Clefable more than Giratina so I'd definitely recommend that. The main issue is that so many people anticipate Giratina so you often run more into counters for them. :)

Great question! I had a solid PvP ranked one saved in my inventory and decided to TM frustration away and give it a shot after the Team Rocket event. To be honest, I mostly just try to make it work since it was expensive to invest in. Through some trials and lots of errors, I was able to understand its utility better. Definitely still not a top tier well-rounded and reliable mon to use but in the right circumstances, it can really be deadly.

I personally like Shadow Punch with Shadow Ball on Haunter. It gives it some bait potential or a move that does enough damage on lower HP opponents. Cheers! :)
Shouldn’t there be a shadow version of some Pokémon that would fill Banette’s role even better? Considering that shadow pokémon get to exchange defense for attack without gaining any CP?
Mmm which ones were you thinking? There are definitely some that are better in some scenarios but for the role I was looking for, Banette served it well :)
I think for a pokemon that is already glassy to begin with, the extra damage output from the shadow variant outweighs the additional bulk for the regular. The shadow variant can beat Azumarill in the 1 shield matchup, for what its worth.
I haven't seen any evidence that supports that theory but I did hit Rank 10 in the pre-season before getting even silver on my ultra and master league badges. Mostly, you'll want to win against higher ranked players to gain the most amount of points.
It's solid. With super power, it handles the other steel types pretty well although the registeel matchup is a little tricky if they shield the first super power. It's not as bulky as the other steels but i know lots of top players who still use it
You can see at 1:06 the leaf blade didn't went through because of the glitch. I hate this glitch it always causes me to lose a match. For example my registeel vs hypno . The hypno throws a focus blast which I shielded but it still went through

Had someone today take no damage from my charge move, so I figured it was the visual glitch and he must have shielded the damage (he didn't swap). Proceeded to use 2 shields against me after that. Basically got 3 shields. I love the lag/bugs in battle league
1:03 he throws Leaf Blade to Bastiodon and it GETS MORE LIFE? Dude this game works like shit. Lost two games in a row because of abilities dealing 0 damage.
actually in this case the bastiodon took the damage, its just a visual glitch because he switched in a full health pokemon. you can see when the bastiodon comes back in later. i do know the charge moves doing no damage bug though, its extremely annoying

It did take damage. This one was just a visual glitch. You can see that the Bastiodons health is lower when he comes in vs skarmory

Third shield advantage. Shows super effective and it's just wasted. Changes the game instantly and you're wasted on energy. Happens a lot.
