Will, wow, what a wonderful layount, and thank you for sharing with us. It is a large vision that has come to life. Please thank the owner for allowing you to share with me. They had some excellent tips for building a layout. Cheers, stay safe, and Happy Modelling, Michael
G'day Will what a fantastic layout, such wonderful detail, l live close to all the regions shown but not Gordon, it's a area l know as well, thanks so much for showing it to everyone, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.
A truly well-done layout. A great variety of trains running on it. Love me a great mix and match of different liveries. But there was one thing that I found myself zeroing in on, and that was the section depicting Gordon. The first thought that came to my mind when you said that it was originally an exhibition layout was, "Is it the same one that Leokimvideo covered in the 2nd part of his video series documenting the '2016 Epping Model Railway Exhibition'? It looks like it".
It's a great layout with terrific detail, it's major downside is that it appears to a mix of everything and it could be anywhere in Australia. A better idea was to have a layout such as Ouyen and the feature motive power trains that a pertinent to a specific period at a time. E.G VR, SAR 1970s etc/V/line AN/Early private Freight Australia/NR/current scene
I appreciate the feedback, and I'm glad you enjoyed the layout! But at the end of the day it’s their railway for their enjoyment and they can run what ever they like!
@@WillJamesRailways Absolutely, many groups have tended to do this, however the layouts I like are those that run specific period at a specific time and so on. Years ago there was a group that operated steam on the Saturday, diesel on Sunday, then EMUs on the Monday of the long w/e.
Beautiful layout and thoroughly enjoyed it! Might be a bit forward or rude of me to ask, but does the commentator have a cold, lung infection, lung disease? The reason I'm asking is to a certain extent his voice sounds like mine, and that at times is difficult to understand and not just due to the difference in accents, LOL high pitch to a low growl in the same sentence. Where as mine can go from fairly clear then to a low growl, or a growl throughout my conversation, due to the fact that I am terminally ill with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Really none of my business, but was surprised to hear someone that sounds similar to me minus the high pitch. Feel free to ignore this comment
Thanks for sharing Will! This is a fantastic layout, love the variety and detail that has been put into it.

Incredible.
Thanks boss!
What an absolute work or art.
Certainly is!
Totally inspirational. One of the best you have had on the channel Will and that is saying something! All that is missing is some vintage steam 🙂
Thanks for the kind words! I agree, steam would add some extra magic!
Great layout
Thanks for watching!

Cheers Neil, glad you enjoyed it!
Nice video Will. Incredible layout! I like how the Gordon station exhibition layout was incorporated into the layout rather then being dismantled.
Thanks, I agree, it works really well!
Great video nice shearing thanks for the update on channel thanks lee
Thanks for watching Lee!
Nice work. I love these model railway tour videos. Fingers crossed you come to my place one day, just need to build it first.
Thanks Cale!

Thanks! It is the same layout as the one in the Leokimvideo!
Fantastic video Will James
Thanks!
Nice Layout, Will.
Glad you liked it!
Great layout was he modeling a specific time frame thanks for Sharing Will
Thanks for watching!
A great layout Will. Brings back memories when I was traveling on the Vinelander overnight to Ouyen in the 60"s. Where can this layout be viewd?
Thanks for watching!
Only here! It’s a private layout!
Nice layout and video, thanks Will. One question - What are the dimensions of the room?
Thank you! Without having them on hand, it was a 4 car garage if that gives you about a rough size!
@ thank you!
Can I come and see it one day? Old VR driver here.
It’s a private layout and the owner has elected to remain anonymous! So this is as close as most people will get I’m afraid! Thanks for watching!
@@WillJamesRailways Fair enough. Thanks anyway 🙂
What I noted was how well the rolling stock runs none of that shimmy that is often seen on model railways. To achieve good running is no mean feat.
It takes a lot of effort to get it right! Thanks for watching!

BTW my favourite train was the flattop Ts in VR blue with the red coaches
Which layout is this one and who owns it?
So all the layout details are in the video! The owner wants to remain anonymous!
But please watch the video to the end for all the information!
Hello will there is some 421 remodels if you want to announce them!
Yeah I guess that’ll be in the next edition of the news!
