@@gak9319 bruh tf does being immune to TB have anything to do with being able to survive anvhient egypt? Sir Gen X and older millenials know how to survive! Gen y and z dont know what bathroom to use or what a women is.
The Sea Peoples were boatmen responding to a mass drought in the middleeast during the time. Basically, crops failed and everyone had to find someone else to steal from or starve to death. Who civilizations collapsed.
As I've told my children, the biggest privilege we have is being born in modern America. It's not skin tone, it's not our low arse position on the economic totem pole, it's none of that, it's simply that our pampered butts were born in modern America. I went to France and Italy in 1997... our spoilt American selves were not allowed to drink the tap water, it had to be bottled water. Not because they are on par with our friends to the south who have unreliable and unsafe water, no, simply because it's not processed to "as high of standards" and it would put us at risk of pathogens that are only dangerous if you haven't built-up a natural immunity through your lifetime via slow exposure. If I couldn't survive 90's Europe without modern convenience/technology, I'm certainly not surviving Egypt, especially not ancient Egypt.
Always hurts to hear how negatively people experienced Egypt in recent years. I visited three times back in 2009 and had a great time. That was right before the revolutions.
3:08 my grandpa would eat milk and cornbread and raw onions. I’ve seen him eat an onion like an apple. He grew up in the depression and WWII. Strong man he was. I couldn’t eat that onion and milk thing but he did make the best salmon stew.
I never would have survived the oregon trail! I know because in elementary school, i died every week when we had computer lab and got to play that game. I always died of dysentery or i failed to fjord the river properly and drowned. 🥲

I think we could push that out to the 1980's
I would like to hear the Egypt story. Seems interesting.

And kids nowadays wouldnt even survive the 1990's
