Months ago I put a set on my Subaru Legacy sedan and like them so far. I had upgraded from the stock 16" wheels to 18" and needed a fender roller. I bought and used the Eastwood model. I wish the ride could be just a little bit softer but it's alright. I have dampers set on softest setting
Makes me want a GC8 as well bro. Nice video and those coilovers honestly dont look that bad. Im curious as well to how long they will last. Its tempting to get a set for 350 tho....
no hate to the man making this video. I have these coilovers which were installed by previous owner. awesome spring rate for sticking to the road and controlling slides. downside is almost a year and a half later (around how old they are) my front right coilover is completely loose when the car is jacked up. I mean I can shake the coilover all around and the spring doesnt reach the bottom of the tower like it should which is sketch. made sure to put it down centered and looking at other coilovers considering racelands.
Nice GC8 RS Chris, my dream version is also the coupe but in Sedona Red (faded to a nice Burgundy) and bronze wheels. Looking forward to future vids on the GC8 with the owner's blessing.
Chris, I just installed a pair on my son's 2000 Impreza 2.5rs sedan, and the springs are too stiff IMO. They were replaced a set of KYB AGX adjustable struts and Prodrive P1 springs because the back KYB's were blown out.

My fam just bought me a gc8 Impreza and I don’t know why im looking at this i should convert the back from drums to discs but nice video man.

Yea 2002-2006 any Impreza model rear calipers, spindle and rotor will bolt right on with the parking cable too

They clunk like crazy. Never seen snow or salt yet and already rusty within 6 months of installing. This is on a 2002 forester.

How did you re-mount the brake line on the fronts?
The new coilovers had mounting tabs for the brake lines and I used those
Is it any different on a gc4 or is it all the same?
Exactly the same as long as it is AWD. These should still work on a FWD car as well, but the top hat may wear out more quickly.
