Couldn't help but notice how you almost clipped the corner on that spreader after that first dump. If it was me I would have probably nailed it well done :)
I know it's become a bit of a trope on this channel, but that spreader really is a beast. It's great to see how your cattle operations are evolving at the Klein farm where you live. I can remember watching the video you made filming Travis running the Knight spreader several years ago, and I can also remember watching the video of you bush-hogging the steer lot with the 4020 and the old Wood Cadet 3 point mower on a very hot summer day. Just look and see how things have progressed from those days! It seems that the JCB and Kuhn Knight spreader were massive upgrades for you, and they definitely will be necessary into the future to keep up with the needs of your beef herd. I'm sure Travis and Dwight will get a kick out of using both in future videos, as well.
Ryan, Near the end you referred to the spreader as a Kuhn Knight. Before Kuhn acquired the Knight company they made great manure spreaders as well as other great machinery for decades at Brodhead WI. I was raised on a farm there where I spread lots of sht. Got splattered a few times by a strong tail wind. Oh the fun and joy of farming. BTW, watching your videos lets me relive my farm days. Lastly, it's a Kuhn Knight machine !!!
Great video Ryan! Awesome seeing some new iron on the farm! The sad part is that before you put the first bucket of manure in that’s the cleanest that spreader will ever be 😂
On our beef farm, we run a Kuhn Knight. 2044 hydro push. Hands down the best spreader for pen packed manure. Have tried many different makes and types and the vertical beater spreader is the best.
Ryan , thank you for the demo on the Kuhn spreader . This looks like a machine that is engineered to last . I really liked the spread pattern , it was very uniformed . This manure , will be so beneficial to your fields . I would like to thank the Kuhn Corporation for allowing you demo their new spreader . Merry Christmas to you , and Travis , and the rest of your family and Happy New Year !
Tyson you need to biggest spreader there is. Well I guess what you need is a couple more months in the year where you and Shaun would have time to get it to the field. LOL.
Nice video. I agree with you that it does a much more even spreading job than the old "manure dumper" you have used in the past. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.
That is one of the nicest spreaders I’ve ever seen. Pretty cool you got to be the first one to use that for a serial number spreader. I’ve been looking forward to this video for a while. You did a nice job with the video to as always
That is a great spreader for you guys! An upgrade to that would be a great upgrade for the farm. Wonder if Kuhn would sell you that #1 production model for let’s say $1000?? 😉. Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Travis mentioned in one of his videos, awhile ago, how hw would love to have a vertical spreader. After seeing the pattern being laid down, my first thought was , Travis was right. I may not be a farmer, but, I watch you two and notice how some pieces of equipment operate. Kuhn is a winner by far!
Nothing like a brand new machine, they are so pretty. Then you baptise it with manure, now it ain't worth sh*t. That spreader looks like it is built for the long haul - solid looking. I agree, the pattern is really good, it is able to handle heavy loads with ease. I like it. I am sure that it is pretty pricey to purchase, but you can not spread crap without it.
You might want to put the 82 on that spreader. Our manure spreader is similar in size to that one and our 4640 felt a little light in the front end for it
Great Product demo Ryan. One of your best. Tyson is ready for one. Merry Christmas everyone. Thank you KUHN corp. What is it some like to say, its the bomb...or am I dating myself? LOL.
Great video Ryan congratulations on a successful year. I can’t wait to see another awesome video from your farm and have a merry Christmas and a happy new year from my family in Levittown, Pa to yours
We bought a new one in 2012.... have had literally no trouble outside of wear parts. And i say wear parts because we haul probly 400 loads a year with our kuhn knight side slinger hauling everything from pen pack to slurry.
I am surprised you don’t have snow. The ground is covered up here. Would like to stack some cornstalks but can’t. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Hopefully 2020 will be easier on us farmers.
Back in 1974 we were asked to demo a new top load feed mixer...as I was loading it all h#ll broke loose..destroyed all the chain drive's, sprockets, gearbox and twisted ends of the 3 big stir augers...they weren't happy and it wasn't even half loaded...throw a fence post in thier and let's give it the test...be safe
AND IT"S DIRTY!! But boy, it has a nice spread pattern, and that was some challenging material to break apart. What is the bushel or ton capacity of that spreader?
I'd love to see some Kuhn hay tools on the channel. We have a John Deere 275 disc mower that is a Kuhn incognito. We also have a haybob 300 for raking hay in fields with trees.
I thought your video one minting making meant oil was of very interesting summations to see what a part 2 of that series looks like was that shot down in Texas or were they make meant at Just curious
When your ready to make some real money. An independent revenue stream for your farm, start selling advertising on the large sides of your barns. What I know from dairy farms is from your videos, but advertising and business I do know. With the numbers of loyal subscribers and viewers like myself, you can profit from that. Get a young gal out of college in sales, have her go downtown and get Joe's Coffee Shop on your barns or Agri Supply on another for example. Pay her in commission and soon enough she'll bring in corporation sponsors on those barns. John Deere, Kuhn, JCB with their colors and corporate logos. You could also start agri-tourism as well. Love your videos from Raleigh,NC!
Hello Ryan , that does the job no doubt about it if really want to move some crap there ya go , Just wanted to tell you and all of your family Merry Christmas to you all and happy new year , lets wish for a good year coming up take care see on the next
I would have Thumbnailed "Eating Lunch 🍗🍗🍗 in a Manure Spreader" 😂 But Seriously that is the Nicest 💩Crappy Now Manure Spreader I have ever seen. Like the Vertical Spreaders pattern and the feed system. 👍
Man, that, JCB Teleskid sure is worth the price with the extended boom arm. AND : Would it work ok to add some 12" sideboards to the spreader so it could hold more ?
Today is the last day to order T-Shirts until March 21st! Get them while we've got them!

Hey March 21st is my birthday
Love the ariel shots
Great video, Ryan! Always fun being the first to get a spreader messy.
I have a older Kuhn knight...would love it if it had vertical spreaders
Question for you Kuhn I know you guys stand behind all of your equipment what do you stand behind your spreaders

It makes farming easier when you have good equipment to work with.

Hear that beef price isn't all that great now. They'll need to balance cows with feed lot/fodder/feed to be profitable.

Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas!

I like the spread on the Kuhn. Going to check them out
nice drone work especially when you were loading spreader thanks
Nice spreader, straw/hay bedpack is difficult to spread yet nice consistent spread pattern from KUHN with this material.
On our beef farm, we run a Kuhn Knight. 2044 hydro push. Hands down the best spreader for pen packed manure. Have tried many different makes and types and the vertical beater spreader is the best.
Looks good behind the John Deere. The 4640 seemed to pull/run it ok.
I've been waiting for this video to come out. Great job on it and nice spreader. And ALWAYS great to see the 46

That thing is massive!! If you did that with your current spreader about 5 bucket loads and you would have been full
Kuhn makes great equipment. I have a large 6' tiller that does a great job. Thanks for the video's.

The KUHN has a WAY better spread and pattern than I Imagined it would. Technology has come to Manure, after over half a century !
Impressed that the 2 wheel drive 4640 could handle that big of spreader
I still get a kick out of the brand new machine hooked up to the 4640.
