Ali loved people so much that it pained him to see the the indignity that were being visited upon those less fortunate ... so it was that he felt moved to take on the cause of people, and in that endeavor Allah's hand was also on him ... so blessed be Allah and his humble and faithful servant Muhammad Ali, aka: the GOAT!
He was a force for right. I met him in 67. Near a housing project near my home. Someone said Mohammad Ali is up at the supermarket accross from a Muslim restaurant. Me and others jogged to where he was standing. He was surrounded but stoodout his body in perfect form his skin a beautiful brown like caramel. His personality was radiant. He was like a savior come to life for us children. He was headed towards the Black housing projects to see someone he knew I didn't but the crowd followed him. I felt good about everything the rest of the day. He was the talk of the community for weeks. He was our "Superman" of hope.
Muhammed Ali is true leader and a good human being with a big heart may god bless him and may he be in his final destination in jannah a good Muslim brother and god blessed his beautiful family as well.
It is so amazing and humbling that at the time of their loss...the Ali family had compassion to ensure his millions of fans stayed in touch at the end...which is what Ali wanted...

My mother passed when I was 18, he and my Grandmother have been the biggest support system in my life with all my heart problem conditions. All his great grandchildren love him as much, they're so happy every time they're around gramps.
