Minecraft's in-game graphics should look like this. It would genuinely be insane. And I know it's possible to recreate this look through a combination of shaders, resource and texture packs, but it would still be cool if this was an official in-game thing.
Honestly I've been following the synthwave community for a while now; lofi even longer. And this is one bombshell of nostalgia because all of the components are humongous nostalgia inducers. And I couldn't be more happy that synthwave is getting the recognition it truly deserves as a genre and that one of my favorite chillsynth artists got to collaborate with minecraft. I love the visuals so much too, thank you for this wonderful piece team
I think they have ElementAnimation working for them now for official animations and stuff. I know they had a handful of things a while ago that Element released on their channel that were kinda endorsed by Mojang/Microsoft, so it wouldn't surprise me.

Tip: Turn the in-game music volume down to zero and then play the game while this video is playing. That is what I am currently doing. I think I'm going to use this music as inspiration for the music I'm trying to make.

I love how the background is always changing and not like other backgrounds where its always on repeat! Kinda stresses you out when you dont know whats happening and forces you to look on screen to see what changed😅. This is amazing and i never thought about a minecraft x synthwave genre. @@Gafferman They did this with 1.19.3 (or was it .4) with Java Edition. The performance uplift is about the same as playing with a mod that does more or less the same thing. Unless if you mean fancy lighting and shadows, which is in development for Bedrock (not counting RTX) and can be done with mods for Java. I recommend the Iris Shaders Mod, which can be found in the Fabulously Optimised Modpack if you want other nifty optimisations and server-friendly features.
You have to download the BareBones texture pack and combine it with BSL shaders. You have to modify the settings of BSL shaders and then you have minecraft looking like the trailers.
Even with the changes to the game and problems there are with Minecraft/Mojang its nice to have a reminder of how great the community is and the effort the Mojang team puts in

Beautiful, now they need to help people get into their accounts. I have been logged out for months with absolutely no real help getting back into my account. I used to play with my whole family. I paid for my entire household to download this game and we absolutely loved it. Until something happened and I was logged out on my PS4 and haven't been able to get back in since. My son is so sad that we can't play together anymore. I also see quite a few people on the play store commented on having the same issues. Why after all this time is no one fixing this absolutely ridiculous issue???
@@LoneDeeeeeeed They're part of the Mojang team. But the devs and the social media team are separate entities for the most part. It's not like the devs work on these videos. The social media team is great, but I've been unhappy with the decision making of the people who make Minecraft, the game. Update 1.16. They showed an ambitious idea and delivered on it. It's slowly been going down hill from there. I can praise the final caves and cliffs update but criticize the release and how communication with the community was handled. If they do something incredible for 1.21, I'll praise them. I won't hate for the sake of hating. I'm a fan as well, so I have the right to be frustrated by their decisions. Like the fact that they're deciding to throw away amazing mob ideas forever for the sake of a dumb mob vote instead of bringing back losing ideas for another chance.
I really like where the base is in this animation, it's just overlooking a mountain and beacons (nice) and has an open entrance, and it looks like you could genuinely live there in minecraft! I would love to see a tutorial on this

I mention the contract because if I remember correctly and the information is accurate, on Salc1's video about where C418 is or what he is doing, its mentioned that he has music ready, but contracts with Mojang/Microsoft haven't been kind or so I recall.

I was wondering how the animation/style looks soo much like the Official Animations of Minecraft.. And it's *actually* is the official channel X.D. This was needed. This is amazing. To even be by the original devs/makers is amazing that they are keeping up with what the people love and want today :3. Sythwave especially isn't super popular compared to Lofi, but this is perfect of both and was so needed for something new yet nostalgic to relax too~. Not to mention it's even an hour~!! I love the music in Minecraft, but the loop always has that long, silent pause, so feels like you rarely hear x.x So I usually search UA-cam to listen to it more often to constantly. Now this can be saved for my adventures as well~.

It would be so awesome if there was an instrument in game you could play, needing to press different buttons to play different notes. I'm just imagining sitting around a campfire in a taiga forest, with all my friends, and I grab a ukelele or guitar or something and just start playing calming chill music, it would be so AWESOME!!!
Would be cool, but i doubt itd be used very much, itd just be another goat horn and spyglass situation, but yeah i agree it would be cool sometimes. Definitely would make noteblocks obsolete outside of redstone and as a building block though, so i doubt theyd do that

As unused as it would be, it would be so fun to mess around with, to fill out the world, and allow you to do whatever you want, without needing to learn so much about Redstone, but keeping the note block superior.

Building in creative with this playing in the background is really the highlight of Minecraft, a simple, calming game at it's finest.
