Wonderful work! No doubt there will be people telling you you are doing it wrong, but we do not care about those loosers, as you know other London gunmakers use a kit of CNC machined part to increase their profit, but it is nice to see that you are still doing things the traditional way, long may you continue! Stay safe! Chris B.
Thank you for your comment. I am sorry you have missed the angle we were trying to convey in this video. We were giving the public an insight into how the Best Quality English Guns are still being made. We introduced ourselves by including the top names not to compare ourselves but, to highlight how by being small we can make individual guns without relying on CNC machinery. We are the only London Gun Company in recent years to have produced 32 Bore and 24 Bores for clients who want something truly bespoke.
I think you’d be surprised to find how many top quality guns are made in places that are very much like sheds. It might help to do some research on the guys in the video to find out their gunmaking history.
@@snowflakemelter1172 Funny enough I used to make them as well and I can tell you plenty of workers including myself made our pieces in garden sheds. Who did you work for then? Judging by the fact you don’t know who Smith and Torok are I’d say they you haven’t worked in the London gun trade.
@Pete Mulhearn A little tidbit of information that people like you are unaware off. When H&H introduced cnc they have never ever produced more guns than they did pre the cnc age. People like Mark Sullivan and others make their guns from forgings and are as efficient at it than people 'making' 'polishing' bits from cnc machines... go figure. That is when you compare the cnc machining time frame in it as well.

Thank you for kind remarks.
Great video well done Alex and Chris and the rest of the guys.
Nice to see everyone looking well.
Thanks! It'd be great to see how the lockwork is made if you're doing more videos.
Absolutely gorgeous craftsmanship.
Absolutely beautiful! Thanks for the great video!!
Nicely done 👍
Lovely looking guns. But a tough business to undertake. I hope it works out for you.
Beautiful!
Great Craftsmanship, both the guns and the film
Thank you for your kind comments.
@@suetorok7792 You're most welcome. As an engineer myself, I can appreciate the skill involved. Also, Arun is a friend of mine :)
Purdey / Beesley spring opening action judging by the flats and how it opens in the last scene. Nice.
Is he back in the UK then Hubert that is? Hubert showed me stuff, I like him.
Chris McLaughlin - Thank you for your kind comments.
Quite Impressive I Must Say. Exquisite. Price Range If I May Ask ?
Your comments are greatly appreciated. For any queries please contact Smith & Torok via our website or at info@smithandtorok.com
If you have to ask the price you cannot afford it. Well that's what they say when you are thinking about a Rolls Royce lol
@@kennethsmith2758 what Do You Know Whether I Can Afford it Or Not ? Dont Jump To Conclusions Unless You Know Someone.
Its a old English saying and I stick with it lol

A dream...

Bit of a neck putting yourself in the big 3 London gunmakers when no ones heard of you and you work out of what looks like a shed.

@kennethsmith2758 Yes you have.

Interesting manufacturing process for the metalwork from a heritage perspective, but laughably inefficient.
A comment from someone who has no idea about gunmaking. 👍🏼
