Square should be a good option for most mobile businesses unless you're operating in some very remote locations. But if you're looking for an alternative Clover and Clover Go should function well on cellular networks. Hope this helps! Interested in learning more about Clover? Thanks for the video full of wealthy detailed info. However, I’d like to know the advantages of Square machine vs global payment. I’m new in business, I need to know which one to use. Thanks
Hi there! Global Payments is not a processor that we would recommend to a small business. They're expensive, especially for low-volume merchants, and require a long-term contract with an early termination fee and automatic renewal clause. By contrast, Square is free to use with no contract, and its flat-rate pricing is cost effective for new, low-volume businesses. Global Payments would only make sense for very large businesses and even with a large business there are better options out there. We hope this helps!
@@jutdeEven if she is in fact sponsored by them, she is not wrong. Square is more geared towards smaller businesses, that is one of their biggest selling points. That and through square, they can even offer you business loans directly through their processing systems based on your processing value and projected growth, and the loans they offer are easy to accept and easy to pay back as they're paid back automatically through your daily sales. If you have a larger business, processing companies such as Clover would likely serve you a lot better.
Absolutely! With Square Terminal, you can set up multiple locations and easily switch between them using the Square dashboard. You can even link different bank accounts to each location. Also, Square should be a good option for most mobile businesses unless you're operating in a very remote location. yes. You may be able to generate a report with a higher tier plan on square. but using mid to low tier square options you have the ability to add apps that integrate with your square account. in this instance it would be a good idea to get the quickbooks app on your square account for something along the lines of reports.
Great question! Yes, you can manage your inventory and generate reports all through your online Square Dashboard which comes free with your Square account. In addition, you can download the free Dashboard app if you have an iPhone! You can learn more about Square Dashboard and all the tools + features it offers by visiting Square's website. Hi there! You’ll need to stay connected to WiFi to use the Square app since it requires an internet connection. But don’t worry-if you ever lose connection, there’s an offline mode that lets you continue accepting payments! Any transactions you take offline will safely store in the app until you’re back online. If you’re exploring POS options for your food truck, visit our blog post where we share our top picks. anyone know if it's possible to share this with a second business? I have my business and my parents sell art sometimes, wondering if they can borrow it if they have their own seperate square account
Yep! Setting up multiple accounts and even secondary bank accounts is easy with Square Terminal, especially if you're keeping it in the family. Square has a quick walk-through of the process on its site. Hi there! Yes, Square Terminal allows you to accept cash payments. To learn how to accept cash payments and other tender, check out this Square article: squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5177-accept-cash-checks-and-other-tender
Can this device connect to a samsung tab s9 plus FE? I work in a salon and I was planning to use the tablet as my screen for ringing customers out using square appointments, customer info, and all of my apps I may need to run my business...but I just need something to process payments. I had planned to just buy the small chip reader but apparently that won't connect to a tab s9. Which is weird to me since the tablet is brand new. But I figured maybe if I got thr terminal, that would work??
Square is usually pretty good with the tablets they're compatible with but this one isn't listed on their website. You could call them directly just to double-check but it looks like both Shopify and eHopper have similar card readers that would work with that tablet and, between those two, we would lean suggest Shopify. We're sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with Square. The most common complaints we hear about Square are about account holds, freezes, or termination with no notice -- unfortunately, all risks of using a payment service provider. If these are issues you've faced, we recommend signing up for a dedicated merchant account.
Have you tried any of Square's hardware? Let us know in the comment below!👇
Square register is cool
Great Video. I would like to know if it's possible to move locations with this card reader. Would it be a good fit for a mobile business?
