Thanks for the video! My son and I are working on our 69 Ghia that we saved from the car crusher! Thanks again for the inspiration to get it running and on the road and enjoy driving.👍✌️
Very nice gathering Of the aircooled VWs I bought my first used Beetle for 200 dollars and a set of used tires i had in storage in my parents garage it was a rustbucket and only running on 2 cylinders but we drove it home on dead tags and rebuilt the motor with a cheap Brazilian Kit that had new pistons . Rings, and all the gaskets for a little over 100 dollars my sister needed a car for college and i wound up giving it to her With the understanding it may get you back and forth for a while well it did and she gave it back to me a few years later we pulled the motor and gave it to the local junkyard Who sold everything they could off the body ! It was originally green and it looked like someone painted it brown with a broom at one point its nice to see so many restored ones in one place including all different models and body styles a couple of the ones featured not only look great but sound amazing as well
Great footage. I posted a video of the show as well. We got there at 8am, it appears you were later in the day. We had a blast, hope you had fun as well!
Dreadful! 90% of the beetles lowered and destroyed with wide tires. But not bad enough: A roof rack must also be placed on the car to destroy the beautiful beetle design. Is that nice?? ? People must believe that this is how the Beetle drove around in previous decades. Cal-Style ist waste.
All I hear is crying from you ...here you go 🍼🍼 drink up ....nothings bad on how folks fix or want there vw' s if they fixed there cars one style "look" vws would be boring and dead and not interesting so in reality fixing them how ever is saving the vws and shows ... me my self am a vintage speed vw fan but I'm not gonna sit here and cry because not many vw are vintage speed style to all reach it's own ...you should be greatful on how folks are keeping these vw alive and not in the junk yard...

Very awesome video , and vw also!!!
is it an annual event in april?
I was a kid in the 60s. No bugs had roof racks. Maybe surf racks.
Nice one great cars.
Anyone know where to find the rims like what is on the silver Ghia with the roof cut off? They appear to be 18" Empi 8-spoke style.
sweet cars
Uff vato que buenas naves
Is there still one regular beetle left?
A non-Low Rider for instance...
@ 9:31 I want to see more of that white VW Kombi... I have one just like that... a raised roof water cooled model with a front radiator.
Goddamn, finally a righteous v-dub video! Those cars are the real mcCoy....slammed, big tires and big goddamn camber!
