Would it leave a residue or color behind if I applied the masking puddy over a white stitch line while I airbrush the surrounding area black? I want to preserve the white of the stitch line. Masking tape sucks for this task.
For that it might be better to get Masking liquid, also made by greenstuffworld. You paint it on like a paint and then it dries as a green film which can be peeled off.
How long did you leave the material over the model? Was the material sweated before you use it? Did you heat the material? Can you send us an email with the process you followed to creative(a)greenstuffworld.com?
So just to clarify - you can mix it back into the main tin/batch with paint on it and it won’t wreck it?

Also have you ever tried applying this puddy through a non medical syringe type tool for fine lines? Wonder if it would feed well or get stuck,

I got this stuff and got disappointed. Surface you place putty on gets greasy so paint runs afterwards.
