Loved your video. I have been to both Western Australia on an epic road trip and Sydney and find many similarities between Australia and Canada, in addition to the obvious differences. Whistler BC is full of Australians on working holiday visas just as Australia is for Canadians. Love your country mate - brothers from the same mother! Glad you enjoyed my province and please come back again, we'd be delighted to have you!
@@BrianBaileyedtech thank for watching and glad you enjoyed it, we love sharing our adventures. WA is beautiful and if we didn’t live in paradise in Queensland we would more than likely be in WA. You are absolutely correct that Canada is full of Aussies working or travelling, and why wouldn’t they when it has so much to offer and so much beautiful country Enjoy brother from another mother
Welcome to my little part of the planet, the Kootenay Region of southeast British Columbia. This truly is a grand place to live and we enjoy a full 4 seasons with daytime temps ranging from a low of -5c in winter and 40c in the summer. I'm a retired Silver as well who lives roughly 1 hour south of Nelson, near the border with the USA. Something interesting about this area is we are part of what is known as the Columbia River Watershed. There are over 60 hydroelectric dams within the watershed that combined generate over 36,000 megawatts of power. 👋😎 Enjoy!
@@warrenpeterson6065 thank you for watching and your comment, We absolutely loved your area and will definitely be back. For us Aussies it is just mind blowing how much waterways and the volume of water there is Canada and the US We love being Silver and retired 😀
I wonder if bikers ship their own bikes to North America when they are touring, or rent motorcycles after they arrive. I seems to me that it would be VERY expensive to ship a couple of motorcycles all the way from Australia to either Canada or the USA. But it is fun watching our Australian cousins and allies having fun in the best "back yard" on the planet. "I AM CANADIAN" though, so I just refer to it as being "outside".
Hi Doug. We ship our bikes over for approx AU$5.5k each, versus a rental cost of US$70k for two bikes for 6 months. I'm shipping mine over again this March!!!!
@@dougbarton4668 thanks Doug for the FYI, we try to get the info right on the fly and usually correct it when we put our episode together Thanks for watching our adventure
Canadian love our Ausie cousins. Come back soon

Just an FYI for you.
Revelstoke isn’t in the Rockies. It is located between the Selkirk and Monashee mountains.
