Some scholars say Prince was an Apostle. That seems probably right to me. Have I ever heard a pastor who was as thoroughly filled with the Word and Holy Spirit as he, since the Gospel of the Apostle Paul? Answer: No.
Like many Americans, I was converted, but not mentored or discipled. I have been reading my Bible for several years, and now am hungry for more. Derek Prince has helped tremendously in filling in gaps in my understanding.

David was a great example of this. As a child he was alone most of his life. He was with God in that time. Jesus went away to be alone most of his life ...to be with the Father. It's not the being alone that matters. It's what you do when you are alone. Alone with God or alone with the tempting voice of Satan?
I can't get over how his sermons are just as relevant today as when he preached them over 20 years ago. It proves God's word is timeless. We so need this type of solid teaching in this hour. Please keep posting as long as you can while there is no hindrance. Thank you. To God be the Glory!

He's the most sound and extremely honest man. Very good in teaching, with a deep knowledge of Greek and Hebrew, able to explain in simple English. Surely his soul is rested in Peace with the Lord.

Repent and trust in the words of Jesus, then ask for God's spirit to renew your mind. It is not always an instant change. Sometimes the Spirit of God has to work things out of you before you can change. But you have to let yourself be open to the Spirit's guidance.
If a kind loving farmer hands you a fruit of some sort, whatever it may be, and does so each weekend to people in his community, but you are not there each weekend when he is, can you know all the fruits he has given out to the people in his community?

I too was never mentored or discipled and fell away from the Lord for a time but now I'm struggling to come back. His sermons are helping.
