❤️ Hello friends, Chole Kulche or Kulche Chole is a great Punjabi Food combination. The most famous are the Amritsari Chole Kulche. This popular Indian Street Food is now served all over the country on the streets as well as in famous small and big restaurants. The best Chole Kulche are found in Northern India, specially in Delhi and Punjab. I am happy and excited to tell you friends that I was fortunate to have the best Amritsari Chole Kulche, and for that I did not have to travel to Punjab or Delhi, I had them right here in Mumbai.
Friends I happened to discover this small and humble restaurant at Juhu in Mumbai called 'Punjab Da Chulha'. I had absolutely no idea about the food or dishes that they serve. I thought it must be one of those restaurants that serve a number of Punjabi dishes but none of them are truly Punjabi in taste.
But to my pleasent surprise this restaurant not only served the most authentic Punjabi Food but the menu was limited to Chole Kulche and Black Dal served with Lachcha Paratha.
Believe me friends when I tell you that this was easily one of the best Chole Kulche I have had in all of India and I am really not exaggerating.
Mr.Mukesh Talwar the owner of 'Punjab Da Chulha' is the most extremely sweet, humourous, humble and generous person that I have ever met. He sat with me during the entire meal and we shared a great bond.
They have a variety of Kulchas cooked authentically in a proper tandoor. I had the Aloo aur pyaaz ka Kulcha and the Chesse Garlic Kulcha with their amazingly delicious Chole. The Chole here are unlimited with the Kulcha. You can have as much as you want and they are really happy if you ask for more. They also have the paneer kulcha, the Gobi Kulcha and many more and each one is just great.
Now let's come to the Black Dal. Here the Dal is cooked overnight on a Tandoor and that makes it super tasty and authentic. They use minimum masalas but still the taste is do good and that is due to the authentic cooking process. The Black Dal is served with crispy hot Lachcha Paratha and again makes for a great meal.
The desserts that they serve here are all made using age old recipes that were developed over the years by our mother's and grandmother's. I had the Phirni that is prepared in not less than 6 hours and the recipe belongs to Mrs. Talwar. Thank you Mrs. Talwar, the Phirni was really really very good and so was the gur ki jalebi with rabri and sweet lassi .
But above all this was the love, the warmth and the generosity of the Mr. Mukesh Talwar and his staff. It was totally different eating experience. Please friends do visit this place and have a great time with your family and friends. Highly highly recommended.
One plate of Kulche Chole cost's INR 370/- and consists of 2 Kulchas and unlimited chole and unlimited love.
So friends do visit this place whenever in Mumbai and please do share your comments.
Hope you like this vlog and share it with your family and friends. Please Subscribe.
