Very helpful, thank you! This will enable the reader of the Tyndale GNT to get more out of the volume; and it was interesting to learn why the Byzantine offers distinctive readings for Mary, the mother of Jesus, and the other women named Mary in the Gospels.
It is important to understand that as the autographic text has moved through time and out of the early centuries into the period covered by the Byzantine text, that the text itself has not changed; all that has happened is that the script has been updated (from uncial to minuscule or cursive) and some aspects of orthography, script and spelling. The Byzantine text is therefore not corrupted. The like happens when we deal with Old English manuscripts from before the 12th century. These are handwritten, of course, but when we print them in books we cannot do it exactly as it is in handwriting. Another example would be from the Middle English Bible of Wycliffe: there is an edition of it out, as you expect in late Middle English, but the script and orthography have been updated - not the text itself - so that modern English speakers can read it more easily. Even the THGNT itself is in cursive script with punctuation; which are of course updates on a non-Byzantine text.

I have enjoyed the "reverse" indent (or projection as he calls it), and the idea of aiming to go back to the earlier paragraph divisions and the leaning back toward the "Koine" era spelling of things. Im not sure how I feel about the book ordering. It seems like a great idea, but in practice its a little harder to use :)
No worries... The 'apparatus' is the part of a Greek new testament (usually the bottom of the page) that contains the manuscript data, along with any variant readings.
The more I learn about the THGNT, the more I appreciate it. I bought labels so I can easily find the books.

The earliest Anglican Books of Common Prayer also had inconsistent spelling. Strict spelling rules are a recent thing.
The thing I don’t care for with the Robinson Pierpont is that they standardized the spelling
