Tamiya never disappoints. I love F1 cars. I have a rare Koyosho 1/7 scale 4-stroke F1 RC car from the 90s. We used to have races with them back from 2008 to 2012. So much fun to race with a bunch of the same F1 cars. It was built just like a real Indy car including the engine position and the sound with the exhaust pinged like an F1. I miss the old Nitro races.
What's really fun is having A couple of the same cars and some friends racing the equal equipment. I glad to see Tamyia bring back kits. I have not bought a rc since the started making everything RTR. Takes 95% of the fun out of it IMO. Great video
If you were a kid growing up in the late 70s early 80s, my god these Tamiya RC kits were lustworthy. Any time I would see one in a toyshop I would be totally in a trance, I particularly remember this P34 and the 6 wheels
Cool little ride ya got there Greg. Definitely a conversation starter! Would be a great choice for a first time scratch build for a noob like me. As always great video and keep them coming!
If you want a driveable 6-wheeler i would go for the Version with the lexan body. Definitely more forgiving when you should crash that thing.
Hell Yeah, I would definitely drive mine!!
Looks really cool, and definitely runs better than I expected....cool build maybe run it once in a while....keep as a looker...
Man, to have that much uninterrupted smooth pavement at my disposal! Looks great out there Greg!
Such a cool kit! You could hear the car porpoise like the real thing too! I hope Tamiya makes a bunch of different F1 cars. That would be an amazing racing class.
It’s not really porpoising (that’s caused by aerodynamics) but scratching the floor, which real cars also do.
This car is really low even compared to a standard F103, with 2mm of suspension travel at the front at the very most!
I've got the version from 2000, it's a super neat kit. After building a few F103 chassis, the 4 front wheels were a nice added difference to spice it up haha. Great to see some content of the new one!
Nostalgic Tyrrell👍🎶⤴️
Love the history of this car!
That is a REALLY cool looking car!
Surprised that it handles very well! I guess the 4 front wheels help a lot with the grip
Wow great car and looked awesome on the track.. pretty quick to 🤩🤩👍🚴
cool rc and review,i would drive it,great stuff and have a great weekend brother
I'm not an on road guy, but have always loved the Tyrrell P34. Ordered one & will have fun putting it together. After that, I have no clue what I'll do with it.
Oh yep. F1 cars are close to me 😁
Just got a Kyosho F2005 that was sold parts by parts 15 years ago and now I have a Kyosho redbull RB7 as well. Super amazing cars and will be nice to take them out once a while to my local track 🤤
Ohhh mate that thing Is amazing!!!
Really nice. 👍
Hi Greg, that’s an awesome kit, she steers sooo good, hooks up right away, i think I might just have to get one for meself. Niiiiiiiiiiice video Greg
Totally awesome!
I love it.
You always create amazing content.
Asplenia.
Excellent driver!
YES I LOVE ON ROAD CARS %110, Hey my friend good to see you today on a fresh new video, your great you explain things so easily your calm , humble and very smart on all things rc Love your channel, I still have my 1st GEN TC5 team associated I built the TC5 about 10 to 12 years ago,
And it still performs like a champ, I did not see much difference In the new TC6.1 OR .2, anyway cool 6 wheel drive F1 car
Thanks your friendly neighborhood Doorman william from NYC forgettaboutit 👊 😀
I love the way it sounds reminds me of the Jetsons flying cars and If i owned one I’d have to take it out for a spin
Classic!!!!
Sweet replica
love it, needs to be driven for sure
This Version definetly not, but rather the lexan body Release.
Just a really cool thing! 😎
Very cool reminds me of a slot car beai car old school
Love Onroad
Awesome !
Awesome car! Got the xb lexan version as a shelfer and building this kit right now. This one will be for the shelf too though!😅
7:56 This reminds me of back in the 1990s my mate and I were racing a Tamiya Williams FW14 and a gull wing Jordan 191 when a security guard told us off saying our foam tyres were damaging the concrete. 😂🇦🇺
Look cute🥰and stable 💪🏻
Oddly enough I just picked up my first on road electric last week, so of course it's ok!
Man that's frickin' hot
I buy Tamiya P34's whenever they're rereleased.
Not bad, I like it.
On-road 👍
Cool. Tamiya to consider other vintage cars on the F103 frame. Such as the Brabham BT50 & WIlliams FW07.
I approve!
thanks for sharing , this edition can be install the long width battery or short width one?
First! Keep up the great work!!
Way late to this party. So i have the original Tamiya release of this exact car. Released in 1986 i believe, uses all the exact same body. 2 piece white upper blue lower driver glues together then bolts to the under side of the white upper body roll bar glues in even had lense inserts for side mirrors. Wing, wing struts, and rear radiator are exact decals exact. But thats where the similarities stop. The chassis in mine is metal. The front steering pod which houses the 4 spindles is a rigid assembly held onto the pan with 4 bolt-through coil springs which of course sandwiched between the pan and assembly. My motor is NOT the 540, it indeed is the 380. The rear diff is open and is comprised of 7 individual gears that includes ring gear and spider gears. The coolest is the moulded actual rubber tires (not foam). I still have it in near mint shape
I bought my dad the XSA version a few years ago.
So I heard several stories about the real car, some of the first testing they would come in to the pits and one tire would be flat, then they would change tires, go out again and driver wouldn't even notice one tire in front would go flat. The tiny wheels spin so fast that they expanded off the wheel and would drop all the tire pressure. So they were limited on top speed by the small front tires. There was actually a port hole up by the drivers feet where he could look out to see if a tire lost pressure, because you couldn't feel it. Their design was only limited by the tire makers ability to produce limited quantity of a specific tire just for those cars.
I do like the car but one problem staring servo is doubles side tape
Still waiting on mine to arrive since pre-order.
Great looking car that’s definitely on my list! What I’d like to know is how did you find madness this quiet? I’ve never seen it that deserted!
Mornings 😆
I wouldn't mind having a Queen / Joy ride vehicle . Probably be a hot rod though .
any word on when the Tamiya f1 pro 2 will be back in stock?
Great video, but not one single shot of both tires steering at the same time?
We have a couple of Tamiyas. That is super cool buddy, thanks for sharing, another great video and why we subscribed a while back.
Thought you should know I have emailed you with a screenshot from a reply we had after commenting on one of your videos. It was from rc driver online and said we have won an rc prize. Thought you should know as your channel may have been hacked with the message. It could be genuine from yourself, not sure (hope it is genuine, be nice to win something) take care and we look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks
Oh man, you fell victim to a scamer. These guys impersonating channels are running rampant on UA-cam.

Do you recall what battery that was using? It looks like a 3s 3000
Has anyone converted it to a regular f103? Is it possible with extended chasi or need a new front chasi to shorten length and add f103 arms and front wing
4th time around. This'll never hit my shelf.
Does it use 48-pitch gears?
What mustang is in the background?
On road is it
Couldn't you put ball bearings in the front?
Hmmmm interesting
The problem is the spare parts is hard tho find😕
I want to see someone make this an offroader
Where is this track at? Opening day Hobby hangout person who has moved back to NY looking for a spot……..
RC Madness in Enfield CT
I live in NY too move somewhere else I se if you want rc lol , I guess Connecticut is drivable , I know tracks upstate , we have a carpet track in plainview.
Unfortunately I’m not able to rock crawl or trail RC so I’ve switched to on road RC’s.
for me is more for collection, because is limited edition, parts don't exist, created to be a queen shell, for me that fair
It’s actually not fantasy, it was a real f1 car
#RCMadnessCT
self elf
as of right now i just reported every single scam comment on this video it took a while haha they say something like "telegram me you have won a prize"
Please let your real subscribers know you got someone trying to scam them messed up had my 4 boys thinking they won a rc
lol that car didn't dominate
check this post you have a scammer..
This thing actually handles better than my F104 V2, despite the horrible front suspension! I think there is overall more contact patch on the front as well as a better weight distribution. Maybe Tamiya should release an original kit based on the same chassis so you can run it with less fear of damaging the body.
I got a message saying I won a rc car from you and to contact you thru telegram lmk if that's you
No, it’s scam
@RCDriver_Online oh ok my kids was super happy to get another rc to work on sense we lost everything they been hyped to get that new sledge or that armma 4s
