I read so many fans ragging on Dehumanizer. I think it's one of the most underrated Metal albums. I like every song on it. Dio's vocals are crazy good on the album.
I hated it when it first came out in 1992. I was just 13 years old and not very open minded yet. A few years later I gave it another chance and loved it big time. There is no way that Ronnie James Dio singing for Black Sabbath could ever be horrible.
I had the same disappointment when I first heard and still have. Listen this and maybe you can cry listen it and find the difference ua-cam.com/video/WxlGPd3qPVI/v-deo.html
How can people say is a weak production?.. I mean the drums sound so big, the guitar sounds big enough and well... I consider it great album and prefer it over "Heaven and hell"
Dehumanizer is one of the best heavy metal albums of all time! The guitar sound is so original, the drums are raw, geezers riffs slay and Dio's vocals are them most aggressive I have ever heard throughout his whole career!
This is how it was supposed to be when it comes to Dio, Iommi, Appice and Butlers music. This lineup was absolutely amazing and the way it was supposed to be. If Dio hadn't passed away I'm sure this would still be.
Every time I hear Black Sabbath with DIO singing, I can’t help but think where would they have gotten in terms of musical evolution if he were the singer throughout Black Sabbath’s whole career. Dio and Tony’s partnership in writing songs is beyond this world. Not to mention the fact DIO just so happened to be one of the greatest metal singers to ever do it. I like the fact people are now learning to appreciate this album the way it should be. Please don’t get me wrong, Ozzy is an amazing frontman, no doubt, but DIO absolutely brought out the best in the band, and vice versa. To think he was, in his early days, a southern/r&b singer, that in soulful songs was already mesmerizing everybody with this one of a kind drive mixed with a huge vocal range without losing his unique tone of voice. I’ll never forget seeing him live over here in Brazil, back in 2006, while going through cancer treatment, singing to perfection, from rainbow songs to his solo, to Black Sabbath. This is pure gold!!!!!
dehumanizer the best and most underrated album by black sabbath !!! Dio is the most powerful singer in heavy metal and Iommi is simply the master of riffs ...
Toni played so effortlessly, it never looked as if he was playing, whereas Blackmore, Downing and Tipton played with a maniacal frenzy, respect for the Metal Gods
This works better live than on the album. The live feel obviously adds a lot: this is a band, playing together. Ronnie James Dio has such a commanding presence; and for some reason his voice is fuller and richer here than on the record. On Dehumanizer it´s very 90`s., dry, with hardly any reverb. I like this much better. R.I.P. RJD.
People talk about how great were "Heaven and Hell" and "Mob Rules", but when you ask them about Dehumanizer, they simply don't know what you're talking about. Ways to identify posers, and I think this and the Ian Gillan album are great.
What kind of people passed over it untouched. All I remember is a feel of captivation when I heard dehumanizer back in my school time , and I still am.
Was proud to be the 700th person to thumb this up, this was an amazing performance considering how old Ronnie was at the time, and the entire band held up masterfully for that matter. 24 years ago this song seemed like some doomsday prophecy from a future that could never be, but lately I've noticed many scientists now being concerned with the rapid advancement of technology that scenarios like the one found in Computer God could very well come to be. In more ways than one, Ronnie James Dio was a visionary. R.I.P.
Descobri essa música tem poucos meses, viciei e não paro de ouvir. Sou fã do ozzy, que tem presença de palco, mas realmente a voz do dio é espetacular. Infelizmente não se fazem rock como este :( DIO nerver DIE
Fucking brilliant, I saw this tour and I was lucky enough to be at DIO's Sacred Heart tour in 86 at Newcastle City Hall as a 14 year old, it shaped my life truly. Back in 86 and 92 I never gave a thought that one day we would lose Ronnie but sadly that day came.... :. (
hehehe...all about our future..so it is...all or nothing...so we wiil never surrender....best wishes to all Rock`n Rollers..all 1%er...no matter whats on your back...think about....all Colours all Patches.....enough time ..to build..all ..just in..Black Leather....hope ..just ..the chosen ones..who have the 1%..in their heart..not on a Jacket......so time is short...ride on.....Johnny
Buying this album out of the blue one afternoon back in 1999 is probably one of the best things I've ever done in my life. Never heard it or anything about it. Stuck it on my dad's car stereo... LOVED IT EVER SINCE. Still my favourite metal album of all time. edit: ps i just did a drum cover of this song, check it out :D
the center of the Dio-Black Sabbath argument is the melodic aspect achieve in HAH and MOB RULES. It was the best of both worlds. But after the Dio success of early 80's, the pressure of continue success force Dio to come out with pop songs which he perceive as a sell out. After that, he distance himself of the melodic aspect, whichh was essential to such heavy songs and rendered, at the end, songs which lack the same emotion of the beginning. TRANSLATED, The Devil you Know, should have been more melodic. The heavier songs, would have felt heavier in contrast with the emotion of the melodic aspect of early Dio- Sabbath, songs.

It's my favorite Black Sabbath record.

Wasn’t a big fan at first. But every time I hear a song from the album I like it more.
Now that is what heavy metal is supposed to sound like.
Damn right my friend.:)
It's hard to believe he was 67 years old here! They guy was phenomenal.
Škoda ho,že musel ísť do neba .
4:11 The way he says "Waiting for the reevolution!" is just fucking amazing😍🤘
Goosebumps🤘...
Dehumanizer is an album that I hated at first, but now, I don't understand HOW I hated it. It's a damned great album.
I had the same disappointment when I first heard and still have. Listen this and maybe you can cry listen it and find the difference ua-cam.com/video/WxlGPd3qPVI/v-deo.html
radec918 Still can’t listen to it
Such a weak production
But the live version of this song and especially I. are just great
How can people say is a weak production?.. I mean the drums sound so big, the guitar sounds big enough and well... I consider it great album and prefer it over "Heaven and hell"
By far the heaviest Sabbath ever done \m/ \m/ Make no mistake, IT IS SABBATH!
Yeah it took me a while to get into it as well: like with Dio's Magica album
Sabbath predicting what we turning into, back in 1992.
They have been completely correct. Great song...
Dehumanizer is one of the best heavy metal albums of all time! The guitar sound is so original, the drums are raw, geezers riffs slay and Dio's vocals are them most aggressive I have ever heard throughout his whole career!
True in n every word
Absolutely
Tha's reet.
Computer God is une of the most Underrated songs of Sabbath! .... It's Amazing!!!! Powerfull , instant signature of BS's Riffs!
And the lyric is a prophecy! Cheers
Top 10!
Damn... that bass tone... sounds like Butler's hitting those strings with a sledgehammer.
It's only a good Bass and a high volume!
@@felipevalim9973 wrong.. it is that and Geezer playing it :)
One of the best Black Sabbath songs!

Dio=maestro
dio=god, thats what his name translates from italian to english
DIO one of the best singer song writers of all time. a genuine man and musician.
The highlight of the Dio era Sabbath for me. Absolutely bone crunching !!!
It is not his Black Sabbath era anymore. This band here was called Heaven&Hell!!!
jpack052 ohh iu bo noaj impress myuself tel someone know me
jpack052 love that expression: bonecrunching
"Termination of our youth for we do not compute nooo". In 1992 they wrote this and you would think they saw today.
How true
4 geniuses, amazing! Rest in peace, Dio!

Dio was never in Megadeth, so it's not "rust in peace."
Troy Compering Heaven and Hell to Mega Death. I never thought I see the day.

Greetings from Norway
I saw him 82 Holy Diver and 83 Last in Line. There are many very good vocalists but Dio is the Best.
dehumanizer the best and most underrated album by black sabbath !!! Dio is the most powerful singer in heavy metal and Iommi is simply the master of riffs ...
Roni James Dio, I saw him in Rio in May 17 2009!!!!!!!!! Thank you very much! Thanks God!!!!!
Brutal. Dio was a fucking metal GOD. I miss u Ronnie
Modern times prophets... also talking about gods, Geezer Butler is a Bass God!
+scorcher59 Agree! He makes everything seems so easy! Amazing!!!
Geezer is absolutely stunning. And I am a guitarist :D
When I was 11 a friend bought Dehumanizer - he showed me this great music and since that time I am a huge fan of all eras of this amazing band🤘🤘🤘
and now I'm 39

Dehumanizer, Heaven & Hell and Mob Rules are legendary, RIP Master 🤘🏻
The drum intro of Mr. Vinny Appice is pretty iconic.
Toni played so effortlessly, it never looked as if he was playing, whereas Blackmore, Downing and Tipton played with a maniacal frenzy, respect for the Metal Gods
The best of the best of metal music. The best singer, the best drummer, the best bass player and of course the best guitar player Tony Iommi. 🤟

I seen this tour at pine knobb Detroit...…..it was sweet....dio dove into the crowd...few minutes later he returned
Мурашки по спине от голоса Dio,в 92м я думал,что меня уже ни чем не удивить,но это шедевр!

In more ways than one, Ronnie James Dio was a visionary. R.I.P.
Everything he said then is now "truth".
Among all other things, I reckon this song is also a lyrical masterpiece. It's one of the most futuristic lyrics ever written for a heavy metal song!
written in 1991 and now it is the truth.. A bit scary
Sem comentário! Muito respeito ao Black Sabbath!
One of the best vocalists in heavy metal industry

+Murilo Scapuzzine valeu pela dica. vou atrás dele :)
Amigo Dio tinha presença de palco e a melhor voz do rock de todos os tempos, Ozzy é um fanfarrão pau mandado da mulher, ou seja um otário!!!!
This is so good in every way

Dehumanizer is one of the best metal albums ever, in my opinion.
so many years gone and it's still as new
Could not have said it better. It still sends a shiver down my spine and now the lyric is true.. back in 1991 it was a dystopian thing
Ronnie James Dio, the story teller, his songs prophesies the Future Of ManKind. R. I. P.

Dio was the best choice for Black Sabbath. Born Again with Gillan was great and Ozzy too, but Dio is unattainable.
