I don't use L1 enough and I also have a habit of using my defenseman to defend around my net so i sometimes end up pulling them out of position and open myself up to those back-door tap-ins from cross crease passes and wrap arounds. Great Video!
Just scored 18!!! Rival points in back to back games after setting my strats and implementing some of the processes of this video. Seriously, I appreciate the content and look forward to more videos like this.
I've been getting crushed by those same players that do the same one time or wrap around glitch goal,so far this video has been the most thorough and informative bro,I appreciate your content you get a sub out of me,keep it up my guy
Thanks Mattias! Yeah very proud of this defensive video, I think with these things I outlined here it applies to most opponents you play online at most levels
I mostly do the same stuff. That last tip was good. Gonna have to try switching to back side wing and bring him down. My tip to add, I always defend the inside and try to force players to their backhand. Puck carriers on their backhand aren’t a threat. Harder for them to pass and shoot. AI goalie knows that too and reads the play better as well.
Thanks for the video man. You are boss. Keep doing them. Lean towards some Rivals division 5-10 sometimes. Somehow, I and others I play have a hard time with breaking up the opponent by...pressing the wrong buttons or not knowing what to do best. On offense, how to hang on to the puck for a bit to make a pass, play, or shot.
I'm stuck in that horrible place where the only difficulty levels that exist are 'way too easy,' and 'literally impossible.' I can't get a shot on goal, let alone score a goal, and I couldn't defend if my life depended on it. On *semi-goddamn-pro.* Teach me, master.
So much better than Sleeves! Trolling again of course. Nosleeves had gone over bringing down the far side winger in a past video that I recall, I didn’t implement it before but will now, great tip. Give Sleeves the credit of subconsciously watching other peoples videos and snatching their material (kidding of course, you’re a great player) - just quoting the podcast. Great job!
@@KesoPaghuniGaming I watch most of Sleeves’ videos except for whatever that Hotwheels gig is. He’s fantastic. Something I was thinking that would be really fun to watch is a critique video of each other’s game play (You Vs Sleeves).
I completely shut down their offense but they some how find a way to pull a cross crease one-timer bcuz my AI defender that's suppose to guard the far post is MIA. I'm controlling my C in front of the net and that puck still gets through. That's the ONLY way I get beat. It's BS!

Same
Love your videos. You speak slow enough to be understood and a good teacher
Probably one of the best, well explained nhl 22 video I've ever seen. Amazing work man, I look forward to more content!
Ryver that's crazy and awesome to hear, definitely put more work in to that one than any other so far, glad you like it

Thanks for the tips bro. Love the pod with sleeves, keep up the great work!

Thanks for the comment, haven’t posted a video in a few months but I’ll be back for NHL 23
Thank you 🙏🏻 I’ll try this today when I get home. People just score at will on me until now. It seems like I meet the top guys every game I play.

Really good point and completely agree, I get in to that slightly on one of the last clips but I don't think I fully explain it well.
I always attack stick side give them the illusion of open ice
Thanks for the tips, also love, love ,love Coffee and CHEL 👍🏽👍🏽
awesome job again, that last one, is great will be trying for sure
Great vid Keso ! Keep up the good content.
This is the best defense video I’ve seen. Great job, dude.
Hey just posted my NHL 23 one!
Great tips really helped me.
Nice job on all your videos, thanks for all the great tips and info.
Thanks Kenny love to hear it
What are the sliders you use and do you run crash the net, behind the net, or overload?
How do you change to a specific player? Like, when you say you switch to the opposite side high forward, what are you pressing to do that?
Manual player switching, holding in R2 (RT on xbox) and flicking RS in the direction of the player I want
@@KesoPaghuniGaming Thanks
What's a more underrated side dish coleslaw or baked beans?
Baked beans, kinda think coleslaw is gross

Very good video with a lot of good tips in it. Good stuff keso
Bouch my man thank you!
Thanks for the good video 👍 how you switching players in defence?
Hold in R2 (or RT on xbox) and flick the RS in the direction of the player you want
@@KesoPaghuniGaming Sometimes it's switching somewhere else for me ☹️
great and well explained video.
Keep it up!!
Greetings from Germany
Thank you so much!
Great video
Thanks!
Thanks for this. Isn't there a way to kind of aim and choose which player you're changing to instead of it just going to the guy closer to the puck?
Hold in R2 on PS or RT on xbox and flick your right stick in the direction of the player you want
How do you control who to switch to, because when I switch it automatically jumps to nearest man not someone up high like you did in the video?
Hi Dave, hold in R2 (RT on xbox) and flick the RS in the direction of the player you want

Hey dude you commented on a real old video haha. I’m posting a defense video for NHL 23 here in a couple days, shortly after a how to score

Thanks Jon! Sleeves is definitely the current standard for the tip videos, I did take his advice though, I don't watch any other peoples videos haha

Great video.. how about line strats.. for off and def

Who else keeps getting smacked online by goofy ah poke checkers
So ur the reason people have been defending me huh 🤔
Lol depending on how many people watched the video, may be responsible for a few of those
People need to stop using cross crease noob gals.
or people need to play better defense
Every tip ended up with poke check
what did you expect it to end with? me doing a somersault? poking and stick movement is the basis of defense in hockey
Or just spam the poke check like everyone else..
