My UG4 Pulsar 150 DTSI gives me 40-45km mileage. I'll be definitely buying a bigger bike in the following years (probably Dom400) but I won't be selling my Pulsar 150 no matter what unless the parts are scarce. It's my first bike & my first love ever.
To all those thinking that mileage is less in this bike, it must have been a brand new bike without first service being done...

wrong .. i own this bike and this bike provides 40 kmpl in city.. why would someone buy this if it's milages is similar to n160, apache or better looking bikes with wider tires.. i trusted on fake reviews and bought this now I'm gonna sell this with huge loss
Not kidding.. my pulsar N160 gave 48-50 on highways
It's totally a wfm machine (completed 6k kms overall and did 1,800kms touring on it too)
My 180 give 30 kmpl🥲
N160 can deliver 60+ after first service and suggested break in period. The key lies with the right RPM. Usually at around 3000-3500 RPM on hilly roads it can deliver a decent 50kmpl
Bro on highway and in city in speed of 60kmph can it will provide milege 60kmpl ? After first service.?
See the line about the RPM? It is more related to engine's RPM not 60 kmph. It's a 5 gear vehicle, i don't think it reaches 60 kmph at 3000-3500RPM unless you are riding downhill. Realistically around 50kmph depending on the weight of the rider and incline of the road.
Note: Mine recently had a faulty throttle sensor. The 3 in 1 sensor had to be replaced due to a faulty engine light error. This has changed the performance slightly. It's too early to comment on the fuel efficiency with this settings, if yours too had been replaced under warranty. Check part number 36PD0112 with your SVC for more info.

@@writerworld1111 please read again, N160 not NS160. Try it yourself, don't be a ricer, and you'll see it can do 55 with ease if you are easy on the throttle input.
Edit: NS160 is just way too revvy. Not my piece of cake. If revvy is what I want I'll go with one of the Dukes😁
I bought a pulsar p150 ,this April. the odometer reading is 2034 km and now its returning me a mileage of 55-57 kmpl in city and towns. in highways , it returned me a mileage of 58 max. the thing is with the rpm. my ideal rpm at highway is 5 to 5.5. in cities, it 4 to 4.5 max.
the bike is just perfect from engine side , but now i am facing some issues with low rpm. its just getting off when i pull the clutch
u may have a dry fuel pump issue... perhaps u need to ride with more fuel to avoid dryness of pump.

Come on, seriously, 37.45 kmpl, thats not even close the figures of 150 cc bikes like the powerful MT 15, xtrem 160 R, Apache or the pulsar N 160 . Those bike at least give more than 45 kmpl despite being powerfull.
This figure is similar to a 350 cc meteor. I expected above 50 from the P 150.
Bro this might have been a brand new bike without even first service being done...

This is not honest review, because I have owner of this bike . My bike run near about 2800 km, and it's offer 60+ kmpl milage full tank to full tank condition, and I test milage 4 /5 time, and every time I got 60-65kmpl milage.

Sir p150 ke bare Mai .kuch log bol rhe ki gari jub thor heat hojati hai to engine se kit kit ke sound aati hai shi bat hai ya sub jhut hai .kya p150 value for money hai daily use ke liye Leni chahiye.daily 40 se 50 kilometre chlna hai
@@praveenkr6814 honestly I said p150 is very good bike,for daily commute, and I drive it gently bellow 60 speed ,I dont have face any type of kit kit sound issue, may be those drive high RPM faced this problem,.

It all depends on situations and way someone drives...these same guys got 32kmpl with yamahas 155cc engine...

Something is wrong with this test. my P150 is giving 48-50 mileage also first service is not done
The really issue with pulsar bikes start after 5 years or after 50k km all repairs. even though my bike at starting 55 kmpl mileage but now iam getting 35-40 kmpl only
sell after 3-4 years, only japanese bikes last after that in good condition.
Same thing with my unicorn now only getting 35-40 km but initially it was giving around 50-55
@@shadow_realm47 when my friends Japanese bikes ended their engine life at 30 k and 50 k kms respectively my Pulsar still running with little oil leakage from engine due to old gaskets. My bike is 10 years old Pulsar 180 with 110000 kms on odo still with factory bore and piston engine never opened or touched. Last month I upgraded to dominar 400. But still using my pulsar and not going to sell it. Will see let it reach 2 lakh with stock bore piston.

after reading comments like my p150 gives 50/55/60 i purchased this bike and after 3800 kms driven with prper method it gives 43 in city with mild traffic and 39 with pillon with the same condition .. i've tried every possible method but no improvement

Its a new engine and its not breakd in yet so its low , my 17 year old first dtsi ug2 model 2005 gives 38+ on double seat and bumper to bumper mild city traffic

The bike hasn't yet been broken in completely. After 2000 km has been done, it's bound to improve. For first 2000 km that is an impressive mileage. A friend of mine bought a N160, first 1000 km he got 34 kmpl.
No way my 7 year old cbunicorn 160 bike does 52 kmpl. I ride 100km everyday riding at the speed of 70kmph. My bike has 14hp power and 14 nm torque. Bajaj needs to improve.
