True peace does not come with allegiance or treaties with false religions of the world. True peace comes from Christ and in order to have true peace, people must repent and be baptized. They must be converted to Christ and true ecumenism is promoting people to either return or join the One True Church of Christ outside of which there is no salvation. And it is our Sins that cause wars, especially sins against the faith... refusing to worship God in the way he wants is one of the worst sins and goes against the 1st commandment, this is the way of false religions including Islam and Judaism. Living in Sin causes a person to lose inner peace and when you have countless people living this way, it causes a society to lose inner peace, thus it causes war. Christianity is the only pathway to peace!
